Jason-19-Solstace- "Um bye." Jason said as Teddy walked off. Does anyone actually like me here? I don't think so. Well, that's fine, I didn't use my life savings to make friends now did I. Jason thought. Jason started to walk away but not before saying to Victoria "Red bows means danger, right? Guess I'll have to see if she lives up to that." Jason went up to the Heritage dorm to see if his roommate was there yet. When he opened the door all he saw was a bare little room, in need of decor. "Well little buddy, I'm afraid I don't have the money to decorate you right now." Jason said. Mabye I'm going solo, even though the roster said I was rooming with someone. Well, I guess I should push the beds together for more room space. And rearrange everything else to. After the room was to his satisfaction Jason went to explore more. |

Lucian-20-Helios-Skyla- courtyard->trail heads "well... I would think Trail B" . Lucian mounted Helios and after adjusting himself in the saddle he took out is school issued map. Looking over its contents he would sidepass his stud close enough so Skyla on her mare could see the map clearly. . "Look, it seems like it runs up the buff and like the there is some sort or water way running off to the East.. looks like a mountain stream." He looked back out towards the hills and forest that surrounded the academy.. Rocky.. but they were in a state that made up a large part of Appalachia. . "Who knows? Maybe we might even find some Deer or pheasant as a suprise on the trail." . Helios just stood like a good boy. Since his rider was on him he knew it mean "work time". A few swishes of his tail to knock off flies, he seemed to be content to be just standing and enjoying thr sunshine. His ear did keep flicking about to go and look for any sign of other horses. |

Terra-19-Angelica-no one, but open, dorms Angelica's sides heaved as Terra unclipped the lunge line. It had taken Angelica longer than usual to calm down, but that was to be expected.
After Angelica had been cooled down and walked back to the barn, Terra finally decided to unpack her personal belongings.
Terra approached the car, the driver still waiting. Terra felt mildly bad for the man, but not too much. After all, he was being paid by the hour. Terra gathered all of her things, then paid what was owed, plus a healthy tip.
Terra juggled all her things, and her Wolf Bend merchandise, as she tried to unlock her door.
When she entered, Terra saw that her roommate, a girl named Skyla, had already been there. Terra put away all her things on the side with the open bunk, taking extra care with a small brown paper bag. Carefully, Terra removed the little blooming cactus from the bag, setting it on her dresser. The cactus was a gift from Terra's mother, a reminder to be pretty, but sharp. Suddenly, Terra felt very homesick. She wished to gallop with Angelica around the grounds, she missed her friends, and she missed her parents. Terra sighed and stared out her window as she played with her Wolf Bend keychain.

Kaleb- 19-Lassie-Lukas-mens dorms Kaleb will set down the rest of Lukas' things just inside his door and stays in the doorway to make sure the other man has his space. " Yer more than welcome. I jest hope ye settle in and we can work on the whole friend bit over time. I want te jump a few rounds with ye and see how your night-lassie flies." After Lukas speaks, he will shake his head. "Ney, I am goin te let them have their little trail date. I have seen that wee German lass at a few shows... She is so deathly shy, im surprised she is willin te to anything with Lucian at all. As fer too soon, that depends on the horse. Lassie is always wound up te go when she gets somewhere new. That's why jumpin her later is goin te be needed if any of the horses want te sleep tonight." . He will straighten up from his lean and nods once. "I best be goin then so that ye can settle in a little before evenin chores." He will turn and pauses before saying over his shoulder, "And I can tell ye, Lucian is a good guy. I am sure you two will get along as roommates if ye both open up a little. See ye at chores, Lukas." With a little wave, he will shut the door and goes into his own room to change into jods and tall boots and out of his barn jersey and jeans. He will then head out to the outdoor, noting that someone had rudely left jumps out, before going to set up a course suitable for himself and Lucian to have a bit of a competition when the Spaniard returns. . Skyla-20-Iris-Lucian-Trail B Skyla will hold Iris steady as the stud side passes close to her. The mare was itching to go, knowing she was heading out on trail or to go and run some reining patterns. Her head was all ready in work mode and she wanted nothing more than to hit the trails. "Iris, easy... Stand!" Skyla will command in German and the mare will quiet. "Sorry... Iris is just excited to go... Trail B sounds lovely. I would not mind seeing some of the wildlife here. This is my first time in this part of America, so I would not mind seeing some of the sights." She says quietly in English again. . After a nod, she will command her mare to walk quietly in German and guides her with an easy neck rein toward the trail head. She will keep her eyes ahead of her, but Lucian can see that she relaxes now that she is on her horse and doing something that they both obviously enjoy. "It has been a long time since we have had time to trail ride... We have been stuck in the arena too much due to back to back competitions and exhibitions..." She will say, trying to sound confident and conversational. |

Victoria-19-Esie-anybody-Ladies dorms . . After the last series of encounters in the barn, and her newest acquaintance seemingly going to sleep in her horse's stall, Victoria made sure Esperanta was back in her stall all settled. Giving her sleek black coat another brush down with a careful hand before putting her espania sheet back on. Taking pride in seeing the PRE crest on the hip and knowing that unlike her neighbor, her mare was actually an Andalusian and actually certified. . Popping her earbuds back in, she makes a small face at the sight of the two riding off in Western gear before heading off to her dorms. She had seen the girl she guessed was her roommate talking to that Jason fellow earlier but to be honest, she couldn't be arsed. All she cared about was getting into her dorm. Setting up her side of the room with her organizers, calenders, and all of her other very needed supplies. .... that and she wanted to make sure she got into the shower first.. lord knows that after today she needed it. Grabbing her swag bag at reception she looked in it for a moment before just tossing it in her dresser and making for the shower. |

Lucian-20-Helios-Skyla- Trail B . . I understand that...... the last few months have been shows in New York.. Maryland.. Pennsylvania.. and I think I did one in Vermont? That was actually a nice one.. they held it at an old manor home". He gently urges the stallion on and thanks subtly Helios' length of stride as the mate seems to be motoring even at a walk. . "Sigh..... but no.... I know how hard it can be. Competition gets in the way sometimes of actually just enjoying time with your horse. Pasar el rato... um... waste time...." . The trail starts to wind up the hill into the tree line. Making switchbacks up the slope though it's obvious to see where the deer have made trails just going through and straight up. . Helios looks pretty content to lazily stretch his legs and enjoy the trail. Ears flicking about as he listens to nature. Knowing that if he's wearing this set, his master really only wants to go slow and easy. |

Skyla-20-Iris-Lucian, Terra (ind)-Trail B-> dorms Skyla will nod as they wind up the mountain pass. They talk over many things throughout the ride and enjoy a nice picnic on the bluff. The horses are on their best behavior for the entire ride and return to the barn ready for a bath and bed down. She will do evening chores for Iris a bit early so that she could go and spend the rest of the evening settling in and taking a long shower. Skyla will say hi to Terra, but the other girl would note how nervous Skyla is. After her shower and setting out clothes for the next day, Skyla will hit the sack early. . (Myst and I agreed to glaze over the trail ride as we want classes to begin and to not hold everyone up! My two are asleep for the evening by curfew!) |

Jason-19-Solstace- Hmm I guess I should do chores and then get to bed early Jason thought I'll have to get dinner at the cafe though. Jason decided to eat a quick dinner and then go do chores. After he was finished eating Jason went back to the barn to do his evening chores. Jason mucked, refilled Solstaces water, food, and hay net, and groomed the big horse. Before he went to bed Jason called his mom, assuring her that he was ok and Solstace was setting in ok. Jason changed into a tee and shorts before turning his lights off. "At least I have a bigger bed." He tried to console himself, Jason was a very social person. And because only one person here seemed to like him and he had no roommate, Jason was questioning his decision to come here. |

Terra (with some Alina dialogue)-19-Angelica-Alina, Kaleb(ind.) Terra grew more and more uneasy the longer she sat in her dorm. Terra reflected on her past interactions with students. Everyone seemed kind enough, especially Kaleb, but how could Terra know? Perhaps they were only trying to feel out the competition, as Terra should have been doing. They had asked all sorts of personal questions about Terra and Angelica. What if they used that information against her? Terra stared at her little cactus, and decided to be more like it. She had to be tough, sharp, yet delicate and pretty. She couldn't let anyone see past her outer shell. With this new mindset, Terra decided to head back to the barn. Terra had to check on Angelica, and if she was alright, there were still plenty of things to do around the barn. Terra avoided conversation on the way to the barn, but one girl in particular seemed to have made it her goal to speak to Terra. The girl's brunette hair bobbed as she practically skipped up to Terra. "Hi, I'm Alina! What's your name? What event do you do? I do dressage. Oh, what's your horse's name? Where are you both from?" If Terra hadn't been feeling protective before, she was now. "Go away." Terra didn't even look at Alina, just sped up. "I get it, you don't like crowds. It's alright, I'm all alone right now. I'm just excited, since it's the first day of school. Hey, you wanna go for a ride together?" Terra abruptly stopped, Alina almost crashed into her. "Let's get one thing straight, shall we? I am not here to make friends. And even if I was, I wouldn't do so with a nosy, loud dressage rider." Alina was speechless, likely a first for the girl. "Good day." Terra whipped back around, her ponytail swishing in a large arc, almost hitting Alina in the face. Terra continued storming towards the barn, muttering about meddling, brunette Americans. When Terra returned to her dorm, she met her new roommate. Skyla was shy, and seemingly pretty scared, but Terra didn't pay her much mind. Terra took a quick shower before she slipped into her new bed. . Alina-18-Quinn-Terra, Victoria Alina hated the English girl. She didn't even know the girl's name, but Alina hated her. What was the girl's problem? Alina had just been trying to be nice. After the girl had stormed off, Alina decided to go unpack in her dorm for the night, since she had just completed her evening chores. Alina didn't want to be anywhere near that other girl, anyway. Alina entered her room to find her dorm mate already there. By the look of it, her roommate seemed to be about to take a shower. "Hi, I'm Alina." Alina entered the room, tossing her key on her bed before crossing over to her things. "You must be Victoria. Nice to meet you." |

Lucian-Lukas- dorms . After his ride had finished and he returned to the dorms, Lucian made sure that his stud horse was all kitted out in his blankets and a new bag of sawdust was added to the stall. Making it nice and comfortable. "Good night old boy... that was a pretty fun first day out on the trail huh?" Giving the stud a few treats he grained him and left back for the dorms. Taking care to enter quietly in case his room mate was asleep. . Entering the dorm room he went off to his side, not seeing the other boy and assuming he was just in the bathroom. He changed down into his boxers and set about getting ready for bed. Looking through his swag bag as he brushed out his hair. Finally with a yawn he settled into bed to rest. |
