Jason-19-Solstace-Alina "I'm going to take Solstace out for a jumping session. I'll see you." He said to Alina. Jason walked out to set the jumps up, after about 5 minutes he had an acceptable course. He brought his tack and then Solstace. Jason quickly tacked up Solstace and got on. He trotted around the arena two times before startling the course. "Good job Solstace, this lets me blow off some steam." He whispered, even though no one was around. "No one really seems to like me except for that Alina." He thought. Jason prepared for a 3 foot jump, which wasn't very big, but it was a double jump, which they needed to work on. Solstace started into go into a gallop when he was supposed to canter. Jason had to put a little more leg into it. Suddenly he heard a voice calling out to him "Put more leg into it!" He heard an Irish voice call out to him.He looked over and saw a girl with a dapple grey gelding. |

Lukas W. Schneider - 19 - Nightmare - M: Kaleb, Lucian (both directly)
Lukas was taken aback. He hadn't heard a Scottish accent since his move from Germany. He had traveled all over Europe and even to Scotland for shows. He suddenly felt insecure about his own accent. Based off his very few minutes here, Lukas could tell there where many foreigners here as well as Americans. It didn't bother him because he told himself he wouldn't try making friends so he could focus on his riding. He didn't consider that he would actually have to interact with other humans. He hated it. Working in teams was going to be the death of him.
Lukas shook Kaleb's hand. "My name is Schneider, Lukas Schneider. Uh, it's nice to meet you." Lukas showed a slight smile. His hand was sweaty and his voice was shaky sounding. "My mare's name is Night or Nightmare or Joyful Nightmare is her registered name." His blue eyes darted around. His heart immediately sank when another student approached the two of them. Why is this a surprise to you? This academy isn't just for you. "I um…uh, probably." Lukas stumbled over his words. "Well, um…probably not actually. I don't recall meeting you before." He said in a more shaky voice than before. "Your name isn't familiar. Nice to meet you though. My name is Lukas." He finally said. He turned back to Night and looked her in the eye. Night seemed to sense Lukas' angst at the situation. She only let out a strong sigh and lifted her head slightly. Regaining some mental composure, he looked at Kaleb. "I could use the help. I arrived later than I wanted to."

Lucian-20-Helios-Lukas and Kaleb "Oh! So you must be the Lukas I'm assigned to the dorms with. Welcome to the academy I guess". After seeing that Lukas started to get nervous, Lucian held up his hands in the classic 'easy there' pose. A gentle smile on his face. "And It's alright. perdón, fallo mío.. my bad my bad". He chuckled once and looked over nightmare before looking back to Lukas. "When you've been showing as much as I have you tend to think you've seen everyone once or twice before. I must have been mistaken.. unless you ever hauled over to Spain and went in the Iberian circuits. When I was still back home I did a little work with my horse in Italy too but mostly stayed in Spain and Portugal....... also..." Lucian smirked and softly elbowed Kaleb in the ribs. "If Kaleb here is ever a bother, just holler. He can be a real pain in the aft end if you understand my drift" |

Teddy - 19 - Solkatt
Teddy groaned next to her father Jakob as she saw the Stables come into view. Sure, she was glad to be rid of her overbearing parents for a few months each semester, but she was tired from the longhaul flight from her homecountry Sweden. Ted twisted around in her seat and looked through her dad's car back window. Sure enough, there was Sol behind the glass of his trailer. Slumping back down into her seat, her father pulled up the car and hurredly opened Teddy the door.
Walking briskly to the trailers door, she passed through the grooms entrance past her kit and luggage so she could pet her jetlagged horse. She was sleeping soundly but Teddy knocked her shoulders a little so that she would jump awake. She'd need to overcome the time difference soon. Taking the handle on her halter, she led her out of the trailer. The car would be parked here for a while more, she'd fix her luggage after she settled Sol. |

Kaleb- 20- Lassie - Lukas and Lucian "Well that's the reason I thought I knew ye! I think we jumped against each other in Berlin!" Kaleb will smile his jolly smile before noting how nervous the man looks. But before he says anything more, he gets elbowed int eh ribs. He will grunt in surprise and glares half heartdly at the man next to him. "Yer goin te pay for that comment, Lucian! Once I help yer roommate get settled in the dorm, ye better have a course set! Lassie could use an excuse te kick yer stallion's arse!" He will laugh again, actual excitement and determination on his face. . He will look back to Lukas and nods. "Well, if your Night lassie is settled fer the moment, lets get ye settled in the dorms. I can help ye carry yer things so ye don't have te make more than one trip." He will nod to Lukas and says, "I'll be back." He then will head out with Lukas and grabs a few of his bags, hefting them easily over his shoulder. He will glance at the German and says a lot less brashly, "Ye ok there, Lukas? I know I can get loud and brassy, but I don't mean te make ye nervous. I'm sorry if I made ye uncomfortable." . Skyla- 20-Iris- Lucian, anyone in the barn/tack room Skyla will return to the barn before pausing. "Lucian! I forgot to grab the to-go lunches. I will be right back! I'm so sorry!" She will bow her head to hide her embarrassed flush and turns to rush back out of the barn. She takes her time getting the lunches from the cafe and returning to the barn to give herself the pep talk she will need to actually go through with this. . Once back in the barn, she will come up beside Lucian. " I got our lunches... I can have Iris ready to ride in the next 15 minutes." Her German accent is evident if Lukas is listening. She will stand quietly and waits for Lukas to address her again, flushing as she looks at the floor. |

Teddy - 19 - Solkatt - Tackroom
Huffing, Teddy led the sleepy horse into the barn, noticing a brand new shiny metal plaque beside stall 34 with Sol's full name on it - Skyggens solkatt. Quite literally, it meant the ray of sunshine amidst a shadow in norwegian, her second language. Jakob followed in, carrying their saddle in a saddle bag thrown across his shoulder. It was a regular saddle from their stables in Sweden from Hermés- its brown leather peaked through at one of the corners. and the rest of her kit drawn in a trunk behind him. He put it down onto the floor then turned to his daughter- kissing goodbye, his taxi back to the airport had arrived.
Teddy gave a sigh of relief once he was gone. She was free, at last with her horse and these strangers. Carefully closing the gate, letting her horse rest up from the flight she lifted the heavy saddle and her horses' trunk into the tack room. She walked in with quite the stature but became nervous once she saw everyone in the tackroom, suddenly, her sigh of relief turned into one packed full of nervosity. It seemed as if she was one of the last to arrive.

Victoria-19-Esie-(returning to barn and going to tack room) Her Ride over, Victoria had returned from the indoor and looked over the gathering group. Seeing that the blood asshole of a Scott was still there she huffed and went to put Esie in the cross ties. Taking off her saddle and pad she turned into the tack room and almost bumped into Teddy. "Oops!.. um.. sorry my bad.. mind moving a second so I can haul this up there?" . She motioned with a tip of her head to the top saddle rack on the left wall. "And could you maybe watch the hall? Just in case someone needs to get through the aisle?.. Esie shouldn't be a bother but I know if other horses get near her she can be snippy... oh.. by the way Victoria Bishop. Nice to meet you." |

Lucian-20-Helios- (barn) Kaleb,Skyla, Lukas "Aye.... and when I beat you and that spotty little girl of your's what will you be offering me oh grumpy one?". With a laugh he looks back to Lukas. "If you want, feel free to come by and ride. Its nice to have a bunch of other Europeans to talk to.... " . At Skyla calling he waved to her. Sighing a little looked back to the younger man. "She's Skyla. Another import from German.... and that is her mare Iris over there. Both of them are pretty nice if you are nervous about wasting new people." |

Teddy - 19 - Solkatt - Tackroom - Victoria
"oh yeah uhhuh i can do that" Teddy stumbled out as the curly haired girl stopped in front of her. "Teddy. Teddy Fitz-Alan." Dragging in her load of tack into the room, Teddy stuck out her hand towards Victoria.
She seemed nice enough, well she seemed like the girls back in Sweden- although without the icy light blue eyes and their shiny straight blonde hairdo's and their stunning features. She gazed her up and down. "nice johdpurs- where are they from? " . SHe herself was dressed casually, a white polo and a pair of regular beige johdpurs paired with brown tall johdpur boots.

Jason-19-Solstace-Anyone in the courtyard "Ok!" Jason called back. He kicked Solstace into a brief gallop before opening the gate to leave. The girl and gelding had left, so he went back to the barn. On his way there he saw some people talking in the courtyard. He dismounted and walked over to them with Solstace "Sorry to interrupt, but does anybody know of a girl with a dapple grey gelding? I saw her before she walked off and was curious if she was a student or teacher." Jason absent mindly guided Solstaces face away from his hair, it was a habit of Solstaces to chew on peoples hair that Jason was trying to break, but it wasn't easy with such a big horse. *I wonder what sparked the habit* Jason wondered. He had minored in philosophy at Clemson University and was always trying to apply his learning to real life. |
