Welcome to Wolf Bend Riding Academy
~ Your Arrival ~
You have taken the long journey to the academy from your home. You are leaving the life you know behind to pursue your dream of riding and perfecting your skills. Will you have regrets at first? Probably. Will you second guess this decision? Absolutely, as will everyone else.
You enter through the grand gate that is the entrance to the academy with your horse in tow. The sun shines brightly down reflecting off the roof of the barns and indoor arena. With the window rolled down, you are daydreaming about your future here. But that is about to change...
(sorry for the cheesy intro...writer's block :P)
- To Start - 1. Unload your horse and take him/her to their assigned stalls. You where given this information in an email. 2. Find your tack rack and locker in the tack room to store your tack and other essentials. 3. You may drive up to the Wolf Estate building to check in. 4. Walk to the front desk to receive your roommate assignment and to receive a full copy of the student handbook. You will also be given a drawstring bag of merch from the academy cause why not?

I (Lucid Insanity) and Jumping Wolves will be controlling a lot of the NPCs. This RP will rely heavily on them, so if for some reason I am not online and you need to move the plot forward, feel free to control them yourselves. Try your best to mimic what I/Jumping Wolves have already written in regards to personality and demeanor.

Jason-19-Solstace-Everyone "Wow, this place is huge!" Jason said to himself. He through a gate and checked his map. "Ok, this is where Solstace will be staying. It looks huge! I don't know how I was invited here." He thought to himself. He parked in front of barn 41 and unloaded Solstace from his trailer. "Ok buddy, this is where you'll be staying for a while. I'll get you settled in and make sure your ok." He soothed Solstace, the poor horse looked like he had seen a ghost. Jason's touch seemed to help, but he still looked scared. Jason led Solstace to an oversized stall, it had fresh hay, a big bucket of water, and 2 hay nets. Jason stayed for a minute to help calm Solstace, but when he saw another horse he immediately perked up and Jason left.
He wandered around for a bit, before finding the tack room and putting his stuff away. He thought it would be smart to get his roommate assigned and decorate before meeting people and getting to ride. Jason heard Solstace rolling and head off to the front office. Jason saw the receptionist and asked for his room and roommate "You'll be staying in dorm 3, legacy dorms. We don't yet have a roommate for you but I'm sure whoever it is will be great honey." The receptionist replied. "Ok, thank you ma'am." Jason said as he headed to his dorm. He quickly picked his side of the room and set his stuff down "Well, I guess I'm going for the minimalistic vibe." He said as he looked at his meager decor. Jason heard a knock at the door "I guess that's my roommate." He opened the door to his surprise and saw the receptionist "I'm sorry dear, I forgot to give you your room key and merchandise." The receptionist apologized "It's ok, thanks for coming up here." He said. Jason closed the door and sat down at his desk, he closed his eyes and reached inside the bag. He felt around and pulled out a lunge rope. He reached in again and pulled out a hoodie with the Wolf bend logo on it and a hat silk. He reached in one more time and pulled out a little keychain with the wolf bend logo on it. "Huh, they really put some cool stuff in here don't they." He pulled a pair of breeches and a jumper then went to barn 41. He put a halter on Solstace and led him outside, and tied him to a fence. He went back for the lunging rope, whip and brushes. Jason quickly groomed Solstace and clipped on the lunging rope.He had already scouted the lunging and walked over to it. He didn't see anyone and went on in. After a minute of lounging Jason heard a voice, and Solstace reared. |

Lucian-20-Helios- no one in particular With the sun warm and the breeze gentle, Lucian stepped out to look over the riding facilities from his Aunt's pickup. His cousin Daniela and Aunt Gisella had offered to help him get his horse moved in... after the nearly 7 hours it took to get from Maryland all of them could use the stretch. Following the email he walked the stallion with a gentle hand down to his stall. . . "Alright.... let's see sir.. where are we at again?". The young man drags his tack trunk behind him, blankets and other horse equipment neatly organized on top of it. He looks down at his slip of paper and tries to remember where he was told to go and check in Helios. |

Skyla - 20 - Iris - Mentions: Anyone in the barn, Lucian . Skyla quickly backs her mare off the trailer, having to pull her horse's head down to make sure she didn't bang her head on the roof again. "I swear you are trying to kill yourself some days, my Iris..." She mutters in german and takes the basically bubble-wrapped mare inside. She will get her in the crossties to take off all of her shipping equipment and get her in her stable sheet. The buckskin mare seems bored as she swishes her bagged tail at flies before leaning her head on the ties lazily. . Skyla will then move to her bedded down and fed a flake of hay before going to unload all her tack into her new locker. She checks the stall door again and places a clip on the latch, having put up her mare's stall card to inform people she will undo the latch on her own if you don't clip it. She will glance up as she hears the rumble of wheels on the floor and sees Lucian coming down the aisleway. . After a quick observation of his confusion and her own internal struggle, she will walk over to him. " I'm sorry to bother you but you seem lost...Can I help you find your tack locker?" Her english is fairly accented and she stares at the floor as she speaks, too nervous to look up at him. |

Jason-19-Solstace-Lucian and Skyla "Whooah, it's ok, it's ok." Jason comforted, he let Solstace run around the arena until he tired himself out. "Ok, let's get you in your stall to calm you down." Jason said, putting the headcollar on Solstace and stroking him. He led Solstace into his stall and gave him a carrot. He went back to his locker in the tack room to find two people talking to each other. "Hi! I'm Jason, what's your name?." He noticed the girl looking at the ground "Are you ok? What's wrong?" He asked as he was putting his equipment away. |

Skyla- 20- Iris- Lucian and Jason . Skyla gasps softly, startled at the sound of another voice. Green eyes look to Lucian with an "I'm sorry" look before she looks back down. "I'm sorry... I just be going then..." She then turns on her heel and escapes the room. . Skyla will slip into her mares stall to calm down a little, silently barrating herself for being so forward and then for being so awkward in her exit. She will curse her shyness as she rebraids and bags the lock of mane that her mare had rubbed out, the motion soothing her slowly. |

Lucian-20-Helios- Skyla and Jason "Well.. yes actually I was just trying to find stall 24? I believe it was.... I have to get "Mr Traffic cone' here into his stall and out of his shipping gear." He chuckles a little, cracking a joke over the stallion's neon orange blanket, halter, and boots. . . On hearing another person enter the aisle, Lucian will wave once as the younger man comes over. "Goodmorning Jason. I'm Lucian, this is Helios", he'll motion to the stud, "and this is.... oh.. seems she didn't want to talk. Maybe later huh?" . . Helios wuffles once to the buckskin mare and will huff as he is lead off. Lucian turning to his stall. "So, where are you at in the barn Jason? Mind showing me where we get our main locker keys? I brought my tack trunk and blanket bags from home" |
