Okay, so I have some stuff for it- Not much. It's basically there's a sudden surge of ghosts, demons, and undeads so a group of ten have to team up and do their jobs(hunting the ghosts/demons/undeads, some would be better at certain ones and all), more or less. Each one of them would have a secret that they're keeping too. Like Jäger, who would be an Elf that I already know I'd be playing, is from a noble family of ghost hunters and is afraid of ghosts. This isn't his actual secret, as the secrets tend to be darker, it's just a little thing that he keeps secret because it's ever-so-slightly embarrassing. There would be two of each race plus two that are half one race and half another. Ten total. Humans would be the only ones without magic. I already have some of Elf culture figured out too. And some of Human culture. There would be two nobles, and two of different stuff too but I don't know what all yet- Yeah, that's about all I have. |

Oooo sounds exciting!~ if you want to do something fun, I am sure you could say that the reason behind the sudden increase of ghosts and demons and undeads are a mystery until BAM! they all came from some massive tragedy-- I am talking Hollow Knight level-- that the ghost-destroyers realize that whoever hired them is trying to cover up, downplay, and keep out of the minds of the people. (But this is just the horror lover of me) one thing I have to ask because I actually have an ex-religious exorcist that would work great here, how would humans combat ghosts if they have no magic? also what do you want the magic system to be? |

Glad you think so! - Ooooo, I love that idea and- Well, I was struggling to think up a why and- I love that idea - Bring them! I'd love to meet them. They'd be great, I'm sure. And, honestly, I'm not really sure how the ghosts would be fought just in general. Demons and undeads (Demons being Demonic creatures, not really like, religious demons. Same with the undeads), I have ideas for, not really ghosts though. - Okay, so magic is weird here. Witches/Wizards are the only ones who have full magic. Elves basically have magical powers that are hereditary from their families, though there may be some variation throughout the generations. Such as with Jäger, his family has death related magic- Like being mediums. Tieflings have elemental magic. Like fire, earth, air, water, shadow, that stuff. Usually each Tiefling is only good at one or two types. |

but now we gotta figure out why they committed the tragedy so we can build the world out a bit, you know? again, pointing back to Hollow Knight, in the Soul Sanctum, they killed millions so they could absorb soul and expand their minds and powers in hopes they could overcome the mind infection (in the end, it didnt really work but you get my point!!) I hope you like him! He is really done with everything and just pure sass. That and this tiny dude being strong as hell with his massive hammer who goes and smacks demons back into hell was so fun in the first story I made him in! Although, I might make him a witch/wizard so he can have access to the magic sigils he uses- hmmm you could take the 'anchor' approach? ghosts are invincible and strong but they have an anchor that ties them to earth that can be destroyed to vanquish the ghost okay few more questions- how does full magic work? what are the requirements and limitations? is it more of a Harry Potter situation or whatever that one movie where they had sigils on a deck of cards? |

I'll figure that out myself, got to keep you on your toes! XD Besides, I already have a few ideas >:) - That's amazing- And oooo, gives me ideas. - That's a great idea! Anchors would totally make sense. Let's go with that, yeah. - Full magic would be more like The Owl House probably, actually, no sigils or wands needed. They can just do magic. Though the sigil thing does give me an idea- Maybe Humans can use magic through sigils, but most don't know it because 1) It's hard to learn. 2) Costs money to learn. 3) Only certain ones can learn it. |

No way you said The Owl House because I was legitimately about to write that but I was like 'Nah, they wont know that show sadly.' But you do!! Also I agree wholeheartedly with your thought process and I am fully on board! although I have to ask: if a cult-ish church had enough money, could they help someone who they believe is 'holy' learn sigils? |

Yes, a good mystery is great - It was literally just the sigil idea XD - You seriously thought I wouldn't know The Owl House? My gay self with all my gay and traumatized characters? Hunter was like my Bat Signal. I saw a YouTube Short of him and his angst and went; 'I have to watch this.' - Oh totally, for sure. Is this related to your character? Will this connected to his mandatory dark secret? Yes, every character shall have a dark secret, not sure if I mentioned that, haha |

XD oh my god of COURSE you were summoned by Hunter!! as one of the fans who was watching when owl house was just starting, I fully approve of you joining for him and now I can gush about the amazing fucking characters!! honestly, I feel like Aries is really similar to Hunter and it still throws me off to this day- you sorta did but now that its mandatory, I am so excited! also, am I just allowed to tell you what it is because I am just so excited to tell someone about my characters story |
