Well, that depends; would you like the setting to progress naturally or would you like everybody to all meet up at once for the sake of getting to the point sooner? Both have their advantages; the former would give you chances for being creative and also mean you wouldn't really have to think of anything and the latter would mean the plot would move along quicker and lower the chances of the RP dying as soon as it starts. If it's the latter, though, then you'd have to think of something to get all of the characters to be in one place (which we can probably help with).

I mean either works. I do think that the latter would work, but I also don't want it to move too quickly, ya know? I was thinking maybe the kids could be planning for some sort of trip? It would explain how not everyone knows each other that well - people inviting friends of friends type of deal.

That sounds like a really fun idea, actually (I always love a good road trip RP, though this one would obviously turn into something else really quickly). Still, that would raise the question of why the newcomers are coming along, considering they don't know anyone. Jeremiah might make sense if he meets Ellie very early in the RP, but Caleb would not.

So- If I gave Zeph a scorpion tail along with the chaos thing, how would you all feel about it?

Yeah, only one power is allowed. And no mind-controlling, future-seeing, etc ones are allowed :P

If I do the tail, the power would basically just be having a prehensile tail that can sting people/poison them like a normal scorpion tail.

Meanwhile, with the chaos thing, it's a much more complicated power- But basically, she can cause people to fall asleep by lowering their chaos levels enough or she can basically make them have a seizure or something by raising their chaos levels enough. And she can smell chaos too, soooo- She knows how chaotic a group/area is just by smell. The funny thing is though, is that she can't actually create chaos or delete chaos from/into nothingness. If she lowers someone's chaos levels, then it would either go to her or into the atmosphere of the area/group. And if she's raising someone's levels then it would be limited to the chaos in the area/group.

Hmm. In a way that works but then again it doesn't. Making them lower/higher chaos levels seems a bit too controlling to me. Especially if it can either make them go to sleep or have seizures. Everything else about that power seems fine.

I'm not sure about the tail, however. The entire point of these characters was that their power were to be hidden and not be as identifiable - as Thoh would want to technically 'curse' the kids and have the government after them :P
