I think that my character would be a bit of an older brother type to the group (though upon some thought, I realize a lot of what he says can and will probably come off as very flirty). I'm unsure whether he'd get especially close to anyone, but I'd certainly like to see what a friendship with him would look like, as he's a very recently made character for me (i.e. I made him 3 days ago and this is the first time I've ever tried to write him). |

Caleb seems really cool, I like him!
Ellie is the same way - she'll flirt with literally anyone. Caleb seems much more like a sibling than compared to how Ellie would, so it would be an interesting dynamic. I can see them battling for the "Mother Hen" title lmao. |

Jeremiah will definitely be the younger brother figure. Not that he's even that much younger, it's just that he's kind of an quiet loner still trying to be incoperated into social situations. He'll try to get along with everyone, but will definitely say something accidentally unsavory at some point or another |

I could definitely imagine it. Caleb is pretty generally passive, so I'd imagine pairing him up with one of the more - fiesty, I guess? - ones would definitely look interesting. Especially Ellie, considering she not only is far less passive but also shares the caretaker role with him. Due to the fact that I don't have enough of a grasp on my character to write up relationships the way you guys were doing on the first page of this, I will instead be making a list of nicknames in German he will be referring to you all as. Mostly animals. |

For sure! Caleb and Ellie would honestly butt heads too, in my opinion. Especially since Ellie is a hot-headed and tempered, always trying to keep others safe and within certain boundaries.

Ah though, I almost wanna switch Jass with one of my other lesbian ladies, like Zephyr- She's sooo much fun, I swear, she's hilarious. She can smell chaos, and then manipulate it to her will. Like, there's a fight going on? She can immediately make it worse or better by manipulating the chaos/discord people are feeling. She's an angel though, maybe a fallen one. She was also originally a scorpion hybrid person, basically just a person that has a scorpion tail, but like- I would understand if she couldn't have both the tail and the chaos stuff lmao - I love Jass too though, so I dunno if I really wanna switch her... And besidesss, I don't wanna waste time with the switching lmao |

Ellie - Bärchen (little bear) Tough, protective and hot-headed; add that to her mother bear energy that she takes with Jeremiah, and you get a bear, thus the choice. Jass - Biene (bee) Her friendly demeanor paired with her rebellious, hot-headed attitude feels similar to the bee being the one to make honey and the (lighthearted? Hard to describe) buzz sound it makes paired with the fact that it can sting you if it so chooses. Less direct than the rest, but it feels right to Caleb. Xalu - Perle (pearl, as you may have guessed) Charming, flamboyant and pretty eye-catching with his illusions. Xalu's nature as a performer draws a natural comparison to a pearl, and so that's what Caleb chose. Jeremiah - Mäuschen (little mouse) He'd probably just get this one from the phrase "quiet as a mouse", as well as the way he skitters along after Ellie. Mice are also quite smart by nature. Noah - Mausebär (mouse-bear) A common nickname in German, though an admittedly strange one considering it's just two animals mashed together. It feels fitting to Caleb, though, considering Noah holds the aggressive nature of a bear if it were multiplied by the energy a mouse holds. Thus, mausebär Eyphah - Schnecke (snail) Also a pretty obvious one; she often seems fatigued and tired, so snail. Her long-limbed appearance is also somewhat reminiscent of a snail, as well as her reserved nature. Not the most flattering by straight definition, but it's still a cutesy pet name in Germany, so he'd still use it. This is more for my reference than anyone else's, because I will probably forget otherwise. (Note that all of these nicknames are based entirely off of Caleb's first impression, so the descriptions are mainly coincidence on his part but fully intentional on mine.) |
