She has always liked flames, and she is used to being around them, because she lives in a cool climate where they are needed for warmth. She enjoys playing with fire. While she doesn't seem to have any noticeable fire powers, it doesn't seem like she has ever failed to light the fires that she has made. She also hasn't been known to ever burn herself. Fire hurts her, and would incapicitate her for a moment, but it won't leave a permanent mark on her body.

She is strong and fast. While she can't go beyond what a human can do, she is at least as strong as the average male if not more. Much like a feast or a famine (it has no negative or positive effects other than sometimes the cooks have to cook a lot more, and she can eat a lot more of the food that she likes), but she can out eat anyone if she wants to. However, she normally stops herself around two servings just to be healthy. (She would have to deal with her mother complaining about the food bill and how fat that she would be getting.)

She has a natural flare for presentation, and with the extra training she has had, she has refined the skill.

She wants to be listened to, so she tends to act out. It's one of the only ways to get someone to take her seriously. It is also a fairly dependable method to get people to do what she wants. The majority don’t want to deal with someone who is having a temper tantrum and find it easier to accede to her wishes. Another portion finds her intimidating. She desires to be recognized as her own person, and she feels overshadowed by her father and mother.

Because their race tends to be so strong and prone to violence, they try to compensate by praising those who do not rise to challenges and try to keep the peace. Strength comes in many packages, and Thynycans prefer to praise those who have to deal with the stress of raising a family and constructing something good rather than those who tear the family apart. She has been told repeatedly that she needs to be polite, quiet, and respectful, so she has learned self control and can keep a lid on her expression of emotion.

Because she knows when it is appropriate or when she can get away with popping off her lid, there are times when she is quiet, because she is trying to contain herself. Other times when her temper is too much for her, she has to either say nothing, laugh, or find some other way to distract her and dispel the emotion, so she doesn't explode. However, that means when the lid does come off, (when she feels like she can express herself truthfully without a filter) it's like Mt. Vesuvius’ eruption. She is quite toxic, ignoring other people’s feelings, and insulting them liberally, so it takes a special person to deal with her. She doesn't respect anyone, so she can be rude and dismissive. Making others feel bad isn’t something that weighs down on her conscience.

For those who don’t know her well, she is mild mannered and polite although she might seem aloof or reserved. She is impatient leading her to being impulsive. Other than her mother (and possibly her father or some other god), she doesn’t get intimidated by people easily. She is very bold and has faced down large livestock or other dangers without flinching. Speaking in front of people doesn’t scare her. She loves to soak up the moments when she is given everyone’s attention, because it means she is getting a moment to try to persuade people of something. While Thynycans don’t want their people to be fighting, like most cultures you still have to be assertive to be a leader. She’s good at channeling other people’s passions. When she wishes to be she can be very open and expressive, however, she has been encouraged to control her emotions.

Her mother doesn’t try to get to know her, and no one tries to get to know her for who she is. They are all trying to butter her up, so they can get favors from her, so she is very skeptical of anyone who is nice to her. She has toughened up, and gives off the vibe that she doesn’t need or really want friends. At the same time she still naturally longs for connection. While she often remains polite, she finds all the duplicity restricting and suffocating. She isn’t sure if she believes anyone will truly care for her. She doesn’t know what that looks like.

Thanks to her intuitive talent because of her father, and watching her mother during political interactions, she is a natural at manipulating crowds from a “podium,” and being diplomatic in smaller, more personal situations. She can project an image that she wishes to, especially for short periods of time.

Other than her mother no one has inspired respect in her, because she hasn’t really gotten to know them personally. She doesn't let other people's opinions phase her. As she’s normally the highest ranking person in the room, she has learned to be assertive. While in reality she knows that many people dislike her, she walks into a room with the confidence of someone who thinks everyone is going to like her.

During meetings that she attends with her mother, she can’t be afraid to speak up, or they would ignore her. She has also found that if you sound confident more people tend to listen and give you a chance. She gets bored of long winded meetings, and she believes they could be cut a lot shorter if people were more direct, so she tends to prefer to be blunt and to the point. When she gets the chance she states the blatant truth.

As she is accustomed to people disguising their feelings around her, there are few things that will freak or out more than someone crying on her. She is much more likely to deal with admiration and anger, but it is very unusual for someone to cry on a royal. As there is already a natural distance between her and everyone else, and she remains aloof, she is the person to gather followers rather than friends. She is tall and confident, which are two important characteristics for catching people’s attention to be a leader.

If she had lived differently and hadn't raised to be deceitful and uptight, she would be a lot more fun loving and adrenaline junky. She is curious and very interested in new experiences, but she kind of prefers to do it by herself. She would also enjoy singing, dancing, and listening to music. (all of it really badly and awkwardly.) She also loves to eat and live off the land. Adventures would be up her way as well.

Appearance

She stands around 5' 10" and weighs around 155 pounds. She has a pear shaped mesomorph body type. She has a medium to small bust. There is no mistaking she has something up top, however, she has much wider rounded hips and a full posterior. There is a definite sturdiness solidness to her. She isn't some little thin stick girl and she has enough muscle definition where it is apparent that she is quite fit. Being a little on the larger side is due to a mixture of too much good food and a hearty energetic life of exercise. From her body type, she has the potential to become overweight. However, most of the time she gains it in her hips and legs rather than her belly helping her to remain trim and fit appearing. There is a healthy glow to her hair, skin, nails, and eyes. She is decently muscular.

She has a round oval face. Her face is somewhere between a diamond, because she has rather prominent cheekbones and an oval because her face doesn't have a lot of hard edges. At her cheekbones her cheeks are quite rounded emphasizing an appearance that looks like she is smiling almost all of the time. Her cheeks have a small scattering of medium sized brown freckles.

She has a wide smooth forehead, and she keeps the area around her eyebrows neatly groomed. Her eyebrows are slightly wider and thicker than average, making her furrowed brow more obvious from a distance and helps her to communicate her displeasure that much better. Her brown eyebrows are somewhere between an s shaped brow and an angled brow. Her eyes are set slightly into her skull, and they are rather large and round. They are a rich dark brown color, and people have often described her eyes to be similar to a cow's. She has long thick lashes that keep dirt out, but often fall off onto her cheeks.

She has a part for her hair on her right side with more of the hair on one side over the other. Her hair is a glistening healthy dark brown, however it doesn't appear to be black. Sometimes it has been described as chocolate brown. On closer inspection you can see darker strands of hair and dark mahogany colored hair. Her hair is in tiny little ringlets, is very bushy, and still manages to fall around armpit length. Her hair is naturally in tiny ringlets, so she made it easier and keeps her hair in tiny little time consuming braids most of the time. Those who do her hair feel a little bit of horror when one of her braids comes out, or she decides she wants to wash her hair particularly well and has them all undone.

Her skin is a rich dark honey tone. Her skin is somewhere between the dark skin color of her homeland and her father's light Pahthan tone. It is obvious that her skin tone is much more permanent than a golden tan that some Pahthans can achieve. She has a few freckles on her shoulders. She has lots of little flaws on her skin whether it be from small little scabs that didn't heal the best or from being clumsy when she was training in various kitchen duties and her hobby of self defense. She has one slash across the back of her left hand that left a slightly raised scar. She can't remember if she got it from cutting up food in the kitchen, other training, or an animal.

She has large, full, wide nude toned lips. Her nose is on the larger side, however the bridge isn't tall or sharp. It appears to be a little smushed and spread out. Her nostrils flare out to the sides. She has rather large ears, and medium sized to large hands. Her fingers are on the thicker side however they are also long. Her feet would probably be a size 8 wide. While she can wear sandles, she normally wears leather boots or goes barefoot. She keeps her hair in tight little braids and has silver bead ornementation, which she keeps tied at the bottom to keep her braids from unraveling.

She likes to wear green ponchos and brown pants. There is something relaxing about blending in with her suroundings. Sometimes if she stays still she animals won't notice her and she can watch them. However, it isn't uncommon to see her in gray and blue, or white or white on a day when she knows she's not going to get dirty. During the winter she wears basic cotton underclothing and a wool outer pants and poncho. During the warmer season she wears a loose tunic and flowy pants. When she wants to look nice, she'll wear a dress. Anything that is khaki or lighter isn't going to work for her, as she is fairly certain to get it dirty.

She has a heavy duty iron crown that she can wear on formal occassions. Thynycans have been known to use it as a weapon and throw it around when they are displeased, so it has to be more durable than decorative. She can also wear fancy gowns with sumptuous embroidery, but she tries to avoid that finding it inconvient unless she is dealing with someone where fancy clothing would make them easier to manipulate. She also wears slippers on formal occassions and have even tried a few awkward pairs of heels.

Likes

Fire, Wind, meat, animals, outdoors, eating, bread

She finds freedom in solitude. She doesn't have to worry about what everyone else is thinking or how they are percieving her. She doesn't have to manipulate them the way she wants to.

She likes to have her hair done.

She greatly desires to be free. She just wants time away from her mother to do stuff she wants to do and figure out who she is. She has spent her whole life training and preparing to be a good ruler.

Dislikes

Very afraid of water, rain. She often feels weak when she is fully submerged, and she is terrified of drowning. She can swim well enough to save herself from calm water, if she fell in. (Luckily, they don't have many big bodies of water in Thynyc.)

(Not sure where to put this.) She craves being affirme, valued, and loved for who she is, but she has a hard time trusting anyone. Instead of empty compliments she would prefer action, and it could take years and years to prove yourself.

As much as she loves to eat, she doesn't like the effort of putting food on the table or deciding what to cook or cleaning up the dishes afterward.

She is the princess and she can set fashion trends, so she isn't too worried about not being up to date on the latest popular clothing. She doesn't like having to dress a certain way to look good, and much prefers to put the least amount of work into her appearance as possible.

Strengths

Public speaking - She has been raised learning this skill, and it comes naturally thanks to her Kanyr genetics.

Presentation - This is also something that her father's genetics make her a natural at. She is very flexible putting on different personas for different people and different occassions. She can move between them fluidly and convincingly.

She is excellent with swords, knows how to use daggers. While she is a powerful axe thrower, her aiming could use a lot some help.

Strong organizational, managerial skills and work ethic. If her job weren't so important, she would procrastinate a lot more.

(Not sure where to put it.) Hand to hand combat is something she is familiar with. She's not a master of it or anything, but she does know how to get in a good kick or singular punch if you aren't prepared for it or aren't going to defend yourself.

Womanly skills. She knows how to do them all adequately. Not near as good as a farmer's wife, since she has servants to do it. (She also prefers to be physically active, so she can find some of them boring, but as long as she can see a use for it, she doesn't complain about doing it.)

Weaknesses

Cutting off her supply of oxygen will hurt her much more quickly than it would the average person. While she'll die about as quickly as the average person, she'll struggle for breath and pass out much sooner.

Being around other people is very tiring, because she feels like she has to pretend.

Pleasing her mother. It's impossible to do, as she sets an impossible standard. It also is a energy sucking goal in life, yet her mother has made it her life's mission for at least the first 14 years of her life. (That's around the time she started breaking out of her shell.) It also restricts who she can be and how she lives life.

Backstory

After her mother attracted the attention of a god, she never felt the need to get a mortal husband. Her crown would pass to her daughter, which she has, and her daughter is resistant to dying more than the average person. (At least she assumes that.) No average Joe would have been good enough for her, and her mother became insufferable. Her mother pushes her to the limit, always saying that she can do better. Not only is she the princess of Thynyc, she is a demi-goddess, so her mother insists that she should have supernatural powers. She can do more and better than what she is doing. Her mother constantly berates her for being lazy and unmotivated. Due to the constant pressure of behaving a certain way or doing something the way her mother wants her to, she is tired of trying to prove herself. She is used to obeying her, but she is becoming used to thinking for herself. As she matures, she is beginning to question the current status quo. She is becoming more assertive, as she is constantly telling people who are lower ranked than her what to do. Due to becoming more aware of what is going around her, because she is being specially educated for the job she will inherit, she is becoming her own person, figuring out who she wants to be. She wants to go live somewhere without her mother so she can really spread her wings and figure out who she is.

Other

If everyone is okay with this, her mother establishes the yearly festival for all of the three countries to interact. Sometimes it doesn't happen if they are warring against each other, but they have fun on other years.
