He isn't exactly heavyset, per se, but he isn't necessarily skinny, either. He reaches a staggering height of 5'3", weighing 110 lbs. He has curly dirty blonde hair that reaches just below his earlobes and is styled in no particular fashion. He has a rather soft face, his cheekbones being low. Aurelien's skin is a light cream, with flecks of dark freckles on his shoulders. His nose is a snub, the tip curving up slightly. His pale yellow eyes are hooded, with thick lashes and slightly arched eyebrows. His lips are bow-shaped. His small hands are calloused, perhaps by overuse of his powers. His face is cleanshaven, and baby smooth. His ears, like most other fairies, are pointed, although they are much more subtle. His clothes are very calm, with muted colors, usually on the cooler side of the spectrum. He wears a variety of clothing, but his current favorite is a dark blue tunic with golden buttons, black breeches, a dark gray cape thrown over his shoulder with white straps, and black ankle boots. He also wears a simple silver chain given to him by his parents once he became an adult. Personality A gentle soul, Aurelien is soft-spoken and has a flat expression 90% of the time. He's considered standoffish when in reality, he's just very nervous about approaching people and talking to them. He prefers the quiet stillness of the comfort of his own home, but he also enjoys being out and about with friends. His two years of being on the run, however, have slightly hardened his heart and have made him indifferent to most events. However, he still has a touch of his childlike wonder, which can cause him to lose sight of what's really important. Wing Type Feathered. They are an offish-white, growing a darker, more rich yellow on the tips. Specific Power (water, earth, etc.) Light Welding - Can take light and turn it into a physical object, bending it to his will. If he has full concentration, he can make the light brighter or cause it to grow dim. As light and heat go hand in hand, he can also make the light he holds warmer (although it cannot seriously burn someone). However, this drains a lot of his energy and can cause his ears to ring, his vision to become blurry, or in a more extreme case, faint by overexertion. ‧͙⁺˚*･༓☾✠☽༓･*˚⁺‧͙ Family? Aurelian is the only adopted child of two women, Mirabelle and Risette. He doesn't know who his biological parents are. Backstory Aurelien was always a quiet child, and the bullying did nothing to help this. Having two mothers, he was constantly looked at oddly when out, and the children in the village loved to pick on him. However, he was resilient and persevered. Not to mention, his mothers were with him every step of the way and were supportive of him 100%. As he grew, he slowly became more and more reclusive in his education, and because of this, his grades plummeted. Eventually, his mothers pulled him out and continued his education by homeschooling him. Not only was his mental health beginning to finally heal, but he also learned a lot of important lessons from his moms (who also went through a lot of hardships during their lifetimes). Aurelian was always smitten with the idea of music, but his dream of being a songwriter was quickly shut down when word of the humans burning down the forest reached him. He wanted to help the Queen and applied to become a royal guard. He now serves the Queen loyally and is supported by his mothers. Her body type is like that of a pear, with her hips being wider than her shoulders. Her breasts aren't that big, but it doesn't bother her much. Her head is angular and shaped like a diamond. Her downturned almond eyes are an electrifying shade of blue, with flecks of sapphire around her pupil. Her nose is sharp, with a bump on the bridge. Faint freckles are scattered underneath her eyes, nose, and just a few on her shoulders. Her dusky blue hair is abnormally spiky, due to her tendency to fly super fast. She has an undercut, which allows her hair to stick up from the back even more. Two strands of hair drape down in front of her ears, for aesthetic purposes. She is constantly covered in bandages from fights. Large burn marks cover her back, left forearm, right bicep, parts of her chest, and the left side of her face, stopping right at the bridge of her nose. She doesn't speak of where these burns came from and prefers to keep them hidden, except for the one on her face, which she can't really hide. Personality Quinn is what someone would describe as a wild soul. She's spunky, loud, rash, and quite rude. She's everything "a young girl shouldn't be", in the words of her elderly neighbor. She's a prankster who can be sarcastic at times but is overall genuine in her actions. She's mischievous, laughs at other's (minor) pain, and loves to pick fights. She almost always seems to make jokes at the wrong time and then proceeds to laugh at them. She has no sense of boundaries and often breaks them to do what she thinks is fun. She believes that life is meant to be exciting, and she lives up to that. She is loyal to those she befriends and would stand by their side, even if it meant her own demise. She likes to test the tempers of people she's close with to see how they react. She's your typical pixie, basically Wing Type Butterly, like that of a monarch's Specific Power (water, earth, etc.) Fire Whips - At the flick of her wrist, a long whip made of pure flames erupt from her forearm. She can grasp this whip without causing harm to herself, and she uses this as her main weapon. With this, she can also set fire to things, but she cannot fully control the flames. Only her hands and arms are invulnerable to the flames. Whips can grow out of both arms, but due to her left-handedness, she usually uses her left arm. ‧͙⁺˚*･༓☾✠☽༓･*˚⁺‧͙ Family? An only child, she never knew her father and pretends that her mother never existed. Backstory Quinn's parents were in love. But later into their marriage (and when Quinn was still in the bud), her father realized how much of a jerk his wife was, and left her. When Quinn was born, her mother blamed her for her father's sudden disappearance and often took it out on the poor babe. Like her daughter, she had the ability to sprout flames from her palms and would use this against Quinn, giving her several burn marks. Because of this, Quinn began to develop several phobias (listed in Other). Once Quinn was 100, she ran away, moving to the other side of the kingdom. Her mother didn't even try to get her back. Other Quinn is struggling with several phobias and mental illnesses, including insomnia, severe social anxiety, autophobia, haphephobia, and, ironically, pyrophobia. |

Name: Draco Firecloud Race: Fairy Age: 23 (Fae equivalent) Gender: Male Sexuality: Gay as a rainbow Role: Fairy guard Appearance: Draco is a bit tall for a fairy (5'7) and has very pale skin, a small nose, full lips, and almond-shaped, deep violet eyes. He did originally have short, dark purple, almost black hair, but an incident that occured when he was young caused him enough stress to turn his hair bright white. He's very fit and has quite a bit of muscle, but not quite in the right places, giving him a somewhat effeminate figure. He dresses in something between elvish and fairy clothing, looking quite whimsical. Personality: Draco is energetic, sweet, and somewhat of a spitfire. He's very polite to most people, but is also easily hurt or offended. He's also a bit skittish and jumpy at times, especially around girls. One day a sprout was found in the nursery with a note that said they belonged to the Firecloud family, who hadn't been heard from in a few centuries. However, their parents were nowhere to be found. Despite rarely, if ever, being watered, the hardy plant eventually just barely bloomed. Inside were two little winged fae, both boys. Since no one could find their parents, they were raised by a family that was willing to foster them until they were old enough to take over their old family home. Freya Aine Edenhale "I am not a queen, just an advisor." Race Clear-winged Fairy Age Over a millennia (1000+) Gender Female Sexuality Demisexual Role Fairy Queen Appearance Freya is ethereal. Her eyes are a royal purple and her hair is a light plum, lightened with age and down to her waist. She still looks young as ever, looking about to be 30 in human years. She's about 5 feet tall and weighs 100 pounds, being average size for a fairy. Her body shape is somewhat hourglass but it's less defined. She doesn't have large breasts but they're average. Not one part of her shown body is out of place. Her lips are full, her eyes almond shaped and her face is soft with a diamond jaw shape. Her cheekbones are defined. Face claim is Margot Robbie. She seems perfect, but her body hides scars and some permanent wounds. She has many scars on her body, with one large jagged one in the middle of her back that almost took her life. Throughout her life, she's had many battles of her own. In her early years of ruling, she helped her fellow fairies when there weren't as many to survive. Thus, she has many scars from those times. She has permanent soreness in the middle of her back due to the wound and oftentimes can't bend down as much as she used to. Personality Kind, Duty-Driven, Fair, Caring, Protective Freya is a queen. Pun intended. She's very kind and courteous to all, no matter their race or background. She's firm in her ruling hand, though, when things need to be done and has perfected the 'look' that mothers give their children. To her, every one of her subjects are her children and she will push them to their maximum potential. If she is hard on you, take comfort in knowing that she sees great potential in you. To some, she may be seen as mean and strict but it's because she cares. She's well-versed in the ways and laws of other races and has a great friendship with the Elven King. In fact, many rumors say they are dating but of course, that's just a rumor. Not to mention that elves and fairies have very different methods of pregnancy. Freya hates humans, though. Normally she doesn't really mind them. Throughout the years, she's met some amazing humans and have become great friends with them but of course, humans have a short lifespan and she's seen them die many times. But at this moment in time, she despises them for their efforts to harm her forest and her people. She will do anything to protect her people, even if that means evacuating the entire kingdom. She doesn't even consider herself as the queen, more of an advisor. Any fairy can come to her with questions or concerns and she will answer to the best of her ability. Wing Type Clear, but due to her age and her royal status, they have been strengthened with magic and are as strong as feathered wings. They are beautiful with no specific color. Her wings are iridescent and have every color of the rainbow when the light touches them, like a prism. They reach to about the top of her head to her knees. They do have a butterfly-like shape but less rounded and more angled. Specific Power (water, earth, etc.) Energy manipulation. She can take energy from others or around her if she needs a quick boost, but she doesn't do it a lot. This is very helpful in a battle to weaken enemies and strengthen her. She never kills them using this power though, she just weakens them to the point of exhaustion. However, she can also give energy. She can somewhat heal using this power, giving enough energy to survive a fatal wound, but if she gives too much she can and will die. Family? Her parents were the previous rulers who are buried in the royal gardens. Only she remembers their names. She has no children yet, due to the nature of the fairies' immortality. She has all the time in the world to reproduce but she is getting rather antsy to have children of her own. Hopefully, she'll build a relationship with someone enough so that she'll fall in love with them. She has many brothers and sisters, but most of them have gone on to be their own person and help others. Some stayed with her but they left after a few hundred years. Some remain. (Let me know if you want to be one of her siblings) Backstory Freya was born in the ancestral home of fairies underneath the city of Valendell, when it was just a small settlement of elves. She remembers the city in its prime, with the large marble columns and the plants throughout. The ancestral fairies believed that living in the earth would allow them to be more connected to the energies and the Mother Tree, and they were right. The city was prosperous and never dull or dark. Edenhale is beautiful, but the ancestral home is breathtaking. In truth, Freya misses her home. When Freya was barely 100, they had to move the kingdom due to the Great War between elves and dwarves. Her parents didn't want to risk their people so they left, but they did let fairies stay behind if they so wished. Many did to help the elves and some did follow afterwards, but many perished in the war. However, the elves were grateful and keep the ancestral home safe until they are ready to come home. Her parents died when she was 250, they decided to pass on to the Mother Tree after nearly 6000 years of life. Her parents had many children but Freya was the one chosen to rule due to her kind nature. When she was 350, the fairies helped the elves with another war but this time it was with the orcs. That is where she got the scar on her back. In her prime, she was a seasoned and dangerous warrior. She still is and can still be a great leader in battle and warrior but in her older age, she's wisened and prefers to be passive unless if her people are in danger, though she will extend aid to those who need it. They stop growing at age 100 and reach full adulthood at age 200 so.. I guess they stop aging physically at age 250, though I think since the queen is looking a bit older, when they hit 1000 is when aging starts showing slowly
