"How about we come to an agreement? we can both probably agree having two alphas would cause issues. How about I stay alpha and you can be Beta," Zier suggested, to be honest, it was pretty fair.

"That does sound fair, Azul would always be allowed to give his input and raise his young as he wished. The young wouldn't be taken either." I said adding my input

I nodded. "That sounds good but before i was planning to challenge my alpha and then give you full control Zier. But whats done is done now so the plan is to challenge my alpha but then i lower my head to beta to you Zier, correct?" I asked, wanting to be clear. Forest sighed in relief before standing beside me. "Sounds good to me," she said with a smile.

"Correct," Zier said. I stayed back a bit, I was still considering moving my nest. We keep having conflicts and I don't want my young to see that and feel influenced by it. Zier could read my expression, "what's wrong?" He asked

"I will tell you later," was all I said almost mumbling. I truly wanted his input on it, I also didn't want Forest's opinion on it because she seems to overthink too much.

"Alright." I nodded before sitting back down on the eggs with Forest.

I was glad Zier and Azul didn't fight so i sat down on the eggs. Azul soon was sitting by my side and i was happy. But then I realized Nightmare was off a bit. I was about to ask her what was wrong but Zier beat me to it. Nightmare mumbled something but i couldnt make it out. No doubt she didn't really want me in it. I was a bit hurt but just layed mine head down. Azul then put his head on my, sensing i was a bit upset. I let out a content sigh before closing my eyes, the hurt disappearing.

I led Zier to a different part of the enclosure, a part that was more hidden. It had its own den but it was almost unnoticeable. He looked at it amazed at it, it was already set up and everything. i turned to look at him,

"I'm debating on renesting here," I said "What are your thoughts?" I asked him cautiously he opened his mouth but then closed it thinking

"I know you don't do things without a reason, i would like to know what your reason is before I say anything," He was playing it smart

"We have so many conflicts with Forest and Azul, I don't want that to imprint onto our young," I said "Plus, Forest overthinks a lot. I'm just scared of what she might do if I ever did anything to upset her. This way they would be more hidden and we wouldn't have to worry as much."

"I see where you are coming from, but how much time would you say we have to decide?" He asked, I knew what he was getting on

"a day," I said

"Already?" he asked stunned, I gave him a 'really' look, "Sorry I forgot how fast the process can work and how slow it can also,"

"There will be two different sets since we did it twice," I said "I can feel them developing and some are larger," I said laying down on my side.

"Really?" he asked "Can I," He motioned and I nodded. He laid down next to me and gently put his head over the correct area. his eyes lit up, "I feel them," He said excitedly lifting his head up

"And there's a lot, not only since we are from the lab and we are designed to produce a lot but from our activity," I said and he nodded again. For how scary and dominant he was, he was very understanding. I nuzzled him and hummed, he hummed back. We sat peacefully together,

"Go ahead and do it," He said

"Huh?" I asked confused

"Go ahead and move here, your choice is justified and I support whatever makes you feel comfortable." He said with a smile "I will help you build since you are sort of weak from the nutrients being sucked out of you." I smiled back with a caring look

"How should we tell them?" I asked

"I will do it, you stay here for a bit, I don't want to cause you so much stress since you are already so far along," He said and I melted

"You know, for being such a big bad Military Raptor, you sure do care a lot," I said and he nuzzled me

"Everything I do now is for you. I don't make action without thinking of you and how it might impact you any more." He said getting up "Go ahead and duck into the hidden den and I will come back now matter what they say," he said nuzzling me one last time before trotting off back to the cave.

Oh how i wanted to follow the couple as the went out of the cave but i knew they didn't want me. Besides i was very comfortable. I was about to drift off when Zier came into the cave. I pushed Azul's head off mine and looked at Zier. "Wheres Nightmare? Is she okay?" I knew Zier wouldnt leave Nightmare unless it was important so i was a bit worried.

I sighed "Nightmare wants to nest in a location separate from you guys. It's not personal, her reasonings made me agree with her decision. I don't want to argue, I'm just telling you guys our decision instead of leaving you wondering where we went." The way I said it made it clear we weren't going to change our minds I hoped.

I was hurt at what Zier said but managed to stay calm like i didn't care. "May i ask why? If its not personal then why? I can move my nest a bit im sure if she wants more space for her nest! Besides there isn't another nesting place here is there?"

'How do I say this without sounding rude," I mumbled "She feels it would be best to raise them separately at first. That when they are old enough to wander around, they won't get confused. Living so close together and both of us having different upbringings will most likely affect how we raise our young, basically showing them how to raise their young. It would probably cause confusion between them because of the mixed culture at such a young age. By the time they can venture out of the next, then we can start acclimating them together." I said I wasn't wrong and that was a possible issue. I would just tell Nightmare once I got back. "Plus she feels it would be easier for us to manage since we will have such a large brood," I said accidentally, not realizing I slipped up and said we have a large brood. Nightmare wouldn't have minded, but there might have been issues if it was said.

I felt less hurt as Zier explained it to me but i was still a bit sad. What surprised me though was what he said at the end. "You guys have mated?! That's amazing! Congrats!! Though could you ask Nightmare if i could talk to her sometime?" I was truly happy for then but i hoped Nightmare would want to talk to me.
