I woke up Raising my head from Forest's back. Zier still wasn't back, I worried for a second then remembered he can handle himself. I couldn't move because Forest was in my nest so I stayed put and waited for her to wake.

I felt a slight moment and sleepily opened my eyes. "Oh, your awake," i said with a yawn before raising my head off Nightmare's back. I then proceeded to get up and step out of her nest. I stretched before speaking, " Good, uhh whatever time it is," I said with a smile on my face, hoping to make her laugh. Just then Azul came in and said, " I thought youd never wake! The rain has stopped and its very muddy....Good for sliding." He had a smirk on his face and i couldnt help but laugh. " I think i could fit it in but first you need to have a talk with my mom." I glanced at Nightmare, hoping i didn't go overboard. I had to tread carefully with her mood right now.

I glared at her playfully but I was still quite a bit hurt. "Yes you can go, I need to get up and stretch," I said getting up and stretching. "I'm going to walk around the den for a little bit, if Zier comes back call for me," I said walking off.

I was relieved that Nightmare seemed to not be upset. I gave her my best smile before running over to Azul and nuzzling him. He let out a purr and i blushed. I quickly ran out of the cave so Nightmare didnt see before looking at Azul who was right beside me. " So how are we going to slide? Or is it like a game?" He answered by saying, " We find a hill and slide down it and get muddy. It is very fun. I used to do it as a kid and want to show it to you and someday out future kids. I blushed and he laughed before running off. Soon i was atop a hill sliding down as mud splattered everywhere. Azul who was at the bottom laughed as i hit the bottom and mud splattered onto his face. We did this for a long time, just having fun, no care in thw world.

I Wilkes through the timber, the birds chirped and the squirrels alarmed them. I started into a trot, I just trotted along the outskirts of the enclosure. I looked around and nothing had changed, I wasn't surprised.

As the sun began to set a bit we went back to the cave. It was nice to have Azul around and made realize that i didn't need to be Nightmare's side 24:7. I layed down in my nest with a sigh of happiness. Azul then layed beside me. As i was about to go to sleep i heard the familar drone sound along with human foot steps. Azul quickly got up and ran to the girl who bent down. " Hey boy!" She said as she rubbed his chin. I watched in disgust as Azul nuzzled yhe girl. " We have the newest eggs for you two." She said as she pulled 2 eggs out of a pouch. I could tell there was more in the pouch and got up. She slowly and cautiously put 10 eggs into my nest. She then said goodbye to Azul and left. I could tell Azul was happy but i couldnt believe it. I reminded myself though that he was trained. "These our are eggs." He said walking up to the nest to sniff the eggs. I too sniffed the eggs and they smelled like humans. I hated that but decided to quickly sit on them, hoping they would soon smell like me. Meanwhile Azul curled up beside me.

I walked around and soon enough smelt Zier. I hid behind a tree and saw him looking for me, I quietly crawled up the tree I was in. I started crawling from tree to tree. It was hilarious, he could smell my strong scent but couldn't see me, he clearly forgot to look up. I playfully jumped down on top of him knocking him off his feet, got the upper hand quickly, and had me pinned.

"I don't recommend you do that love, otherwise I might start getting ideas," He whispered in my ear, and my face turned a bright shade of red. He got off me with a chuckle, "Come on the food I caught is over here," I got up and trotted over.

"Thank you!" I said excitedly nuzzling him and began eating. He ate too, just at a lot slower allowing me to eat however much I needed. Once I was finished and sat off to the side he started to eat as quickly as I did, finishing what was left. When he walked over he made a flirtatious humming sound and immediately I knew what he was trying to do. I just grinned and repeated it back.

We were walking back to the den and I saw Azul and Forest cuddled up next to one another. I walked up and sat on my nest; Zier practically wrapped himself around me, laying his head on my back. while I kept mine held up. He seemed a bit more protective now, I wasn't surprised.

Me and Azul stayed cuddled up together for a long while. As the last of the suns rays fell i started to doze off. I very much wanted to show Nightmare the eggs and not fall asleep but i kept dozing off. It didnt help that Azul was being extra loving. I finally woke when i felt his movments. I quickly shook the sleepiness out of my eye before i saw Nightmare. I practically jumped up as i spoke. "Nightmare your back!! Finally!! Guess what!" I said, my voice was filled with joy.

"Hm?" I said exhausted, this caused Zier to feel a vibration. But he still kept his head on my back, and partially covered my stomach since I was sitting sideways. I yawned for a second the Zier did too.

I could tell Nightmare was tired and i kinda felt bad for disturbing her. I also felt like they couple was acting a bit weird than normal but i somewhat ignored it. I did lower my voice a bit but just as happy. "The humans gave me eggs! A whole ten!!" I then slightly raised myself for Nightmare to see some of the eggs. Azul grumbled but i just ignored him. My smile faded though as i though of something. "I- uhh, could i talk Zier for a second....I promise itll just be fast! Im so sorry to take him away from you but i really need to talk to him." I said with a lump in my throat. In my mind i was melting to the ground as Zier's words floated in my mind. Do you know what they do to the young that doesn't fit their standards? they kill them, sure it's peaceful and it's like they are falling asleep but they still kill them! The risk we are forced to take by going on missions too? What if they kill my eggs because their not good enough for the humans? Or what if they take my young to go on missions?! My mind raced as i held in tears.
