"Oh.." she said softly, her ears flattened. So many shifters had lost their families and it was always sad to hear. She listened to Night explain about the tunnel curiously before they moved down to where the wolf spoke to her blackberry bushes. It was a slight surprise to see that she was blind, but she seemed rather lively nonetheless. Iru smiled as Night and Eva spoke and soon they were walking towards the cottage. They seemed to be close in a way. As they made their way towards the cottage, she looked about curiously, ears pricked. The place seemed peaceful.

Night walked side by side with Eva, guiding her towards the cottage. Not that she needed it, as she was dodging tree roots on her own. Starfire sat waiting for them in his wolf form. Night was in a small panther form now with Iru in her fox form. Eva was in a wolf form but he knew it wasn't her main form. She sat down on the porch before saying, "What stories would you like this time?" Night sat down, wrapping his tail around his paws, "The oldened lands." Eva Da Luna paused before directing her words mostly towards Iru, "What interest might you have in this?"

Iru sat down as they reached the porch. Remaining quiet the whole time, she was a stranger here afterall. Then Eva Da Luna directed a question at her. In a mild panick, she glanced towards the other two, not quite sure what to answer with. "Curiousity, we'd like to know more about it" she answered cautiously, leaving the rest of the details to Starfire and Night. She didn't know how the shifter would react to their plans of attempting to find it, so she chose her words carefully. The other two would know her better and be more capable of deciding what could be shared and what could not.

Eva bobbed her head before flicking her ears, "Usually when youngins' ask for stories of the old lands, they want to go on the journey. Knowing you two," She pointed a paw at Night and Star, "You are on your way finally. And the more the merrier too." She said, tilting her head towards Iru.
"Now the oldened lands are far from this place, but there is several landmarks on the way. The Skull Rock," Luna started drawing in the dirt. "The Snake River. The Viper Hill. The Cursed Vally and the Dragon mountains." She drew a pretty good sketch especially from memory and not being able to see. "Skull Rock would be the first place you would go. To the top you shall go and look out of it's eyes to see where to go next. Long river stretches through the hunting plains. Once you reach the Viper River, stay out of the air. Hunters patrol the area in the air, stay on moss clumps."
Starfire interrupted, "Moss clumps?" Eva waved a paw at him, "Moss in the forest area on the other side of the river hold the secret power of a shifter that died a long time ago. They will hide your aura so the robots won't find you." She continued like Starfire had never interrupted. "Once on the other side of the river, follow it downstream to Viper Hill. Watch out for the cobras there." She tilted her head at Starfire in particular. "Then you must go through the Cursed Valley and the Dragon Mountains. We call it the Cursed Valley because of the hunters and robots there. Not many shifters get through there alive. You can take the Deep Tunnels if you must but be warned, don't get lost."

Iru listened quietly as Evda Da Luna started to speak, explaining the path they would have to take. She had heard stories before, but none really ever included a detailed map. It had always had more of a fairytale ring to it. Having directions, more or less, made it seem much more real. And it sounded, well, more dangerous than she had expected. And a much longer journey. Fortunately she wasn't scared off of the idea by it. Despite her avoidant nature she could be quite adventurous if she set her mind to it. "And the dragon mountains?" She questioned curiously, tilting her head slightly. Determined not to think about the Cursed Valley too much.

Eva tilted her head towards Iru before drawing the mountains. "If you get to the other side of the valley, then you must go through the Dragon Mountains. These mountains are protected by Stinger Shifters. The Stingers are like bandits. However, they will kill humans and shifters alike for their powers." She tilted her heads towards each of them in particular. "They believe that if they drink a shifters heart blood, they will gain their powers and be able to use them. It isn't true. When a shifter dies, their powers return to nature or an object. Like Starless's family and pack." Night looked like he was about to say something but Luna continued before he could. "Once you get past them and the mountains, you will be close. So so close you will be to the Peaceful Lands but no one knows for sure where it is. Once beyond the mountains, you must explore and see." She scratched an ear before saying, "And you must remember that only a shifter can enter the Peaceful Lands."

Moss clumps, cobras, a valley where few shifters survived, Stingers, and then they were properly lost...Sounded like a pleasant little adventure. Iru glanced over at the other two to try read their reaction to all of this. It would be worth it if what they were looking for was true, a waste if it didn't even exist. At this point in life it was a risk she was willing to take as long as she wasn't alone, she had nothing else to lose anyways. A thought crossed her mind at being told only a shifter could enter into the Peaceful Lands, but she quickly dismissed it with flattened ears. "Sounds easy enough.." she commented quietly, trying to lighten the mood with playful sarcasm.

"Sounds easy enough.." Iru started with playful sarcasm. Night was about to say something when Starfire couldn't hold it any longer. The wolf burst out laughing and Night rolled his eyes. "I will memorize the map so we can begin. Not that this doofus could." Night said, pointedly looking at Starfire. Starfire simply laughed him off before saying to both of them, "I'm up for that little adventure then. Who's in?" Starfire placed on paw forward, a grin on his face. Night flicked his ears before sliding a paw in, "Someone is going to have to watch you." Eva let out an exaggerated sigh before saying, "I'm going to stay put but if you do find the Peaceful Lands, be sure to come back for me." Night and Starfire looked over at Iru, "You up for it?" Night asked, watching her.

Iru laughed softly at them and shook her head. Though as they started to announce themselves as in for the adventure, she needed to decide for sure aswell. It was obviously going to be a life endangering journey and a long one too. All after something that might not exist, along with two shifters she still barely knew. There was still something in her that tried desperately to grasp at the life she would be leaving behind. As dull as it might be, she had been set comfortably enough. This journey would take her entirely away from any form of comfort. But a bigger part of her was already committed. "Sure, why not" she decided with a grin, placing her own paw forward. Officially putting herself into the adventure.

Starfire watched Iru before perking up happily as she said, "Sure, why not," and placed a paw forward. "Whoo!" Starfire howled, rearing up. Night chuckled before saying over to Iru, "Welcome to the team Iru. Get ready for a dangerous adventure." Starfire batted at Night's ears, "And fun! Lots of fun on the way." Starfire rolled out of the way as Night's big tiger form pounced for him. Luna chuckled to one side before saying, "Starless, come over here. I need to give you something of your father's before you leave. Oh and a map." She shifted into her human form, going inside. Night, shifting into his human form, followed. Starfire stretched, yawning before bounding into the small pond there, splashing and soaking Iru as well as himself.
