Sloane made a show of dusting off her hands, "Well. That was a wonderful time, must do it again sometime soon, totally. Now, not to alarm anyone, but all of our steeds are speeding down towards the ground, and we all know that while they try not to, uh, trample anyone, accidents happen and all of that. So...." Sloane took multiple large steps backwards, tilting her head upwards. She hadn't even been lying. There was a mass amount of the creatures heading towards the ground, as they saw their riders head outside. Having experienced moments like this before, it was always a good idea to stand next to something sturdy, as they all jostled one another around, and it was really easy to get thrown to the ground and/or stepped on.
Sloane noticed Syndia wasted no time moving back, as did Jydal. The king and queen, however, continued their streak of never listening to what Sloane said, and firmly stood their ground.
This is, stood their ground until they looked up and saw how many creatures there were. Then, they got their asses into high speed.

Rhian and Queen Odile sped up as they hurried over to the two siblings, both because they were worried but also because they did not wish to get ran over by the animals that flew out of the sky. Rue was still sitting in front of her brother, his blue blood had stained her pink dress, and her hands were sticky with the same blue liquid. Herbs were strewn across the ground, and in her hand was a mash of herbs, they had a pungent smell, that made Odile's nose twitch. "What do you need my child?" Odile's voice was smooth and the demon language flowed off her tongue from thousands of years of practice. Her eyes were surprisingly soft after her previous outburst.
Queen Odile was hardly a kind woman, at least, not to those who did not share her blood. She was a strict woman, as unpredictable as the tides, but remained as a steady figure in her children's lives. Kanu and Rue were her last, remaining children, and she wasn't upset at that, the others had hardly been dragon material, too much like their father, walking around blindly with their heads up their asses.
Queen Odile had taken the liberty of understanding everything about her children, from their outer appearance, to their inner thoughts. So although Odile knew exactly what was going on in her daughter's head, she still asked out of curtesy. "I need you to hold down Kanu when I try to wake him, I can't do it and I would rather not risk Rhian to its wrath." Although Rue was fluent in Demon, her accent was unlike her mother's. Rue's voice was soft and airy, like a leaf slowly drifting down in the gentlest of breezes, while Odile's was harsher, like the sound of a harsh breeze whistling through the air.
Without a word, Odile sat next to her daughter, her own dress spreading around her in an ocean of maroon fabric. Once she held Kanu firmly against the tree, her daughter shoved the bowl of mashed herbs beneath his nose, while Rhian watched wordlessly. Behind them, the animals from above descended, and their loud feet and shrill roars covered Kanu's sudden gasp and cry, though whether it was a cry of rage or pain, Rhian couldn't tell. Whatever the case, Kanu tore at his mother's arms, his pupils becoming sharp slits as Rue dashed backwards, waiting for Kanu's fit of rage to pass.
This was not uncommon, with demons, being injured often induced a sort of battle rage, it was easier to control as one aged, but Kanu was still young, and although he came back from it quickly enough. One could not forget the feral look on his face when he raged. After a minute of Kanu writhing about in his mother's arms, Rue hiding her face with her white wings, he calmed, and his eyes returned to normal.
Odile calmly let go of him, and helped him up. A normal mother would probably hug their child, and murmur comforting words under their breath. That was not the way Kanu worked though. Odile had learned long ago that he did not like to be touched in a comforting manner by anyone other than his little sister. He was very independent, and even his own mother knew better than to hug him, and in turn embarrass him, in front of others.

Sloane watched everything with almost bored looking eyes, although her face lit up as Gryphem - who was as smart as his companion - landed down lightly, far apart from the chaos, which was currently being wrangled by the guards both groups had brought.
The steed had, in fact, set down beside Sloane, and she stroked the face that had nudged her roughly in order to get some attention.
"Alright then, Gryphem. I see you are ready to go back up," Sloane turned towards Syndia with a shrug, "I wish you luck with your kingdom, Queen Syndia. And congratulations - you survived your first meeting with us "Crazy Immortals." You handled yourself well - you will be a good leader."
Syndia nodded her recognition of Sloane's words, "Yes. And the same to you. Goodbye, Lady Sloane. Stay safe."

Two years later (with a few trips to Earth to explore and see Syndia in-between), Sloane now needed the assistance of someone she had hoped to never see again (or at least until the next meeting between the realms).
That happened to be one certain Prince of Hell, who was conveniently a (kinda) consistent patron of one bar on Earth - one of the few that served his... dragon's breath/born/blood/Sloane had no clue.
She needed to get into Hell, though, and this was her best bet. Hopefully he would remember her, and would be willing (or able to be convinced).

For many months, Kanu had not been seen outside of the palace. This was under orders from his father, who claimed that the freedom he gave Kanu was making him unpredictable and rebellious. Not a soul believed that of course, but with his little sister's help, he was able to stay preoccupied and relatively happy, if a little too sober.
Eventually, he'd been granted his freedom and was able to escape the palace. His sister remained behind though, and for that he was sorry. Rue deserved so much better than a life in the freezing depths of hell and a broken family.
Of course, Kanu did not linger even if he loved his sister, as he wished to go as far away as possible. After a quick stop at a Portal City, he entered the human realm and stayed there for a majority of the next year, and was spotted often at a tavern that had exactly what he needed. At the moment, he was actually there, not drunk for once, but was laughing with others nonetheless, an easygoing expression on his face.

Sloane straightened her shoulders, and dropped the hood of her short, brown cloak. The years had not changed her style at all, and Sloane wore the same style breeches and tunic, with a flexible breastplate of leather armor.
Bulla, never one to be left behind, perched on Sloane's shoulder, and nuzzled the woman with her soft snout, "Let us go."
Sloane pushed her way into the tavern, and with sharp eyes, scanned for the person she was looking for. Kanu was easy to spot, and she bluntly sat down on the chair beside him at the bar, and ordered a drink she vaguely recognized.
As the bartender was getting her order, Sloane turned to face Kanu, firmly ignoring the stares that Bulla (and therefore, Sloane as well) drew in.
"Hello Kanu!" Bulla chirped, and jumped down to perch on the arm that Sloane offered her, "It has been a long time!"
Sloane raised a fond eyebrow at her dragon pal, although the familiarity vanished when looking at Kanu, "Long time no see."

Kanu hadn't changed much at all, though his hair had grown a bit longer and the braid in his hair was a bit thicker than it had once been. Other than that, he had a new scar that ran diagonally across his neck. Kanu's sense of style hadn't changed much either, his entire body was mostly hidden by a black cloak, and his horns and the scales on his cheeks glistened in the fire light. Kanu knew immediately who was approaching him, and inwardly groaned. Last time she'd seen him, two of his ribs had been broken and he'd had a concussion. It was quite embarrassing, he just hoped this wouldn't be a horrible conversation.
Kanu turned to face Sloane as she sat down, his dark eyes seemingly black in the dim lighting. His expression lightened at Bulla's chirps, and he bent his head towards her in greeting. Soon, his gaze drifted over to Sloane, and a cocky grin settled on his face. "I'd hardly call it a long time, what, two years maybe?" Kanu wasnt being rude for once, as his normal cocky, annoying attitude had slowly disappeared over the past two years. He could still be annoying, but restricted it a bit, just a bit.
"I'm sure you aren't here just for a friendly visit, though I'd love to think that you'd missed me or something, I doubt that's the case. So, what does the Heir of the Heavens need from the lowly Prince of Hell?" Kanu knew that Sloane wasn't here to make pleasant conversation, so he decided to just cut straight to the chase.

A pleased look flashed over Sloane's face. Good to know Kanu knew her well enough that she wouldn't be here just to chat.
A large mug of ale was set down before her, and after Bulla settled down on the counter-top, Sloane took a swig before talking, "I need to get into Hell." She kept her words quiet, and set down the mug with a muffled thump, "It's a fast job - in and out without anyone needing to know I was there."
Sloane knew talking more and trying to persuade Kanu with her words wouldn't end up in her favor. He'd make his decision, and then, if it wasn't in her favor, she'd try to change it.
If he still didn't agree, Sloane might have to find a different way into Hell, and it might not be as peaceful and pretty like it would be with Kanu.
She was sure he already knew this.
Sloane wasn't one to get minor details - such as getting into an opposing and hostile kingdom illegally - keep her from her task.

Sloane's words caused Kanu to put his head into his gloved hands, a loud sigh escaping his mouth. "Out of all the fucking things," he thought as he removed his head from his hands and took a swig of the mug in front of him. It took him a long moment to reply, and he did not look at Sloane for that period of time. When he finally spoke, his voice was more than a little strained. "Going into my realm would not be wise at the moment princess, there are things going on there that are not yet known to the other worlds. It is dangerous to be there, now more than ever." Kanu still has yet to look at Sloane, and was instead looking into his mug, swirling the drink around and seemingly enchanted by the moving beverage, though he was not at all distracted.
Finally, Kanu tured to face Sloane, his eyes glimmering in the candlelight. "I could take you, but I wish to know who you're killing, or what business you have there. If you are killing someone, then I must warn you, it may not end well for you. I am well aware that you are more than capable of taking care of yourself, but my realm is already failing, if you kill the wrong person." Kanu shook his head, "then it could mean disaster for my people." As he spoke, his voice was low, and his ears on the hunt for anyone who might overhear his whispered words.
