Ekon looked around with blank eyes though he was rather curious as to why they were here. Other than to speak to the lord of the place or whatever. He swiftly dismounted, Zaine gently nuzzled his master before staring at the man who would be taking him. Although Zaine was a sweetheart, he tended to be rather intimidating without realizing it. Ekon knew better though, Zaine may seem intense but in reality he was just a really curious little pony in Ekon's eyes. |

Keo took the reins of the tall horse, "Hey bub," He soothed, "Shall I give him some hay?" He was not intimated - he whole job was to deal with horses, so he was used to wrangling moody, skittish, and wild horses. This one only seemed curious. |

Zaine stared at the man who grabbed him. Finally huffing and letting his head hang, waiting patiently to be led to wherever he was supposed to be going. "If it's not too much of a hassle go ahead. I know he would appreciate it." Ekon's voice turned a bit happier when he spoke of his horse, as Zaine was one of the few things that granted him freedom and he could generally tolerate without being annoyed. |

Keo nodded, and turned to the horses side to loosen the cinch, as Nak did the same for Melion. Anasuri patted her horses side and thanked the two horse handlers, before squaring her shoulders and marching up the stairs. |

Ekon politely thanked the handlers before quickly following Anasuri. It was hard to stay a little bit behind her as he was supposed to do because she was so tiny. He was more than a foot taller than her so that really didn't help. As he followed Anasuri, his eyes flickered between a startling gold in color and a deep brown. Slowly, they settled into a bright gold color that was unlike the soft amber they had been before. His eyes were more of a mess than Ekon was and that was saying something. |

Anasuri entered the room, the twenty or so guards immediately snapping to attention. These guards were unlike the sloppy house guards that fought Ekon on the first day. These were true warriors, their colorful skin flashing beneath leather armor, "Ekon, you will stay in this room. No guards are allowed in the meeting hall." |

Ekon took in the other guards with a simple glance of his gold eyes. "Yes Princess," he said this simply, with just the right amount of respect in his words. He would be more precise about his words when in front of others. Lest his superior got word of Ekon's relaxed words and take him off the mission he'd been sent on. |

Anasuri left the room, the guards surveying the new knight with no hidden motives - they wanted to access his physical form and decide if he would be a threat. They decided there was something to him, and kept watch. |

Ekon didn't say anything, he allowed the other guards to look at him before retreating to a secluded corner. He wan't one for talking, as he had shown many times by this point. To other guards, he was certainly an outcast, someone who was not by any means a friendly elf. Yet he was. He enjoyed talking to those who peaked his interest, or the children he fed in town. People who were like how he used to be. That's who he enjoyed talking to. |

None of the other guards talked, and a silent hour passed. Anasuri came into the room, followed by three men, "Thank you for meeting with me today," she was saying, "You are busy men, and I oh-so-appreciate it." By the looks of the men, Anasuri had them all buttered up with her words. The princess looked very pleased, allowing a satisfied smile to grace her features. |
