I think an auto-feed system would be great. Like, wolves hit 60% or lower, it automatically feeds them from your stash. I always feel like such a dick for starving my pixel babies lmao

Verine

Female // 4 // Third // M: Ezhno and Enigma

The dark umber canine remained standing. Her banner swayed slowly behind her hocks in a tedious tempo. Her ocean blue gaze was glued onto the distant figure of the grazing calf.

Numbers... All she required was numbers to take down the herbivore she currently eyed like a bright red target.

Tick... Tock... Tick... Tock... her tail swayed like a grandfather clock. Her eyes narrowed, impatience like an eternal ember glowed inside her mind. If only... If only... she repeated, a faraway idea echoing inside her cranium.

But her thoughts were interrupted. Her regal crown snapped to the side as the dark figure of another wolf slithered out of a nearby bush. She was... followed? Unknowingly, she was accompanied by another this entire time. Verine recognized the russet eyes that accompanied the dark figure.

Ezhno. The one on the outskirts, an outsider, a shadow in a world of bright light and vibrant colors. She existed unseen, unheard, and hidden. A power Ver regarded as a talent, though she would never wish it upon herself. Nonetheless, Ezhno was a capable hunter, and regardless of her social detachment to the elusive canine, Ver needed whoever was near to assist her.

She refused to move as her pack mate came to her side in silence, as if Ezhno understood that she was apart of Verine's army, and was there to follow her orders. A smirk attempted to tug at her lips, but did not succeed, and was instead succeeded by a soft smile. Ver nodded her cranium back at Ezhno and she returned her ever so focused blue gaze back to the calf.

However, the steps of another tugged at her ears, causing her to swivel her head to the left. She blinked slowly as she eyed the white figure of Enigma. Seeing the younger canine did not give a greeting, Ver didn't either. Yet, her expressions did not not change at the sight of Enigma. Regardless of what her subconscious yelled inside her golden mind, nothing on the outside shall reflect the thoughts that rambled in her head. After all, Ver was dignified and elegant, and therefore she must retain her charismatic and vivacious front the she displayed for everyone to absorb. Thus, her features remained soft and focused. After all, one must give respect to receive it.

Turning back to the light of the prairie, she contemplated her current situation. Was three enough for the calf? Possibly... She didn't want to risk such a golden prize with impatience, no matter how long it churned inside her. One more is what she desired. And if one didn't show within a few more moments, the numbers shall be a risk Ver should be willing to take if it means attaining such a delectable and opportunistic meal.

Verine softened her stance and lowered her hocks to the the soft grass that blanketed the ground. Her auditors remained alert, and her topaz gaze continued to observe the calf. With a simple flick of her tail, her posture seemed to whisper back to the two, Patience...

Fleur
Three | Female | Pack Member | Mentions: Open

Emerald eyes parted as the morning sun gleamed down on them, spreading warmth through her lids so that it was uncomfortable for them to remain closed. As much as the pale colored female desired to remain slumbered within her little den, she knew that wouldn't be the case. The morning would rise, whether she liked it or not, and it would bring her with it.

Sighing softly, the petite female pawed gingerly at her face and glanced up at the entrance of her den, sunlight reaching in for her. With little complaint left in her, Fleur lifted to her paws and slid from her den, stretching when she exited, her front paws dragging her body forward ashe back paws went limp. A soft groan escaped her as her muscles trembled with the first morning stretch, before she pulled her hind legs back beneath her and straightened.

Even at her full height, Fleur was a tiny wolf in comparison to some of the goliath like wolves of their pack. She didn't really mind that she was tiny in comparison to many others, preferring to find the things she was good at so that she would always be of use.

Head tilting, the female glanced around before turning, slim paws nearly silent on the floor of the forest. Her ears were lifted, alert atop her head as she made her way to the nearest water source. A little sip to quench her thirst was in order, it was something she did every morning to try and start the day off right. Hopefully today would be no different.

It didn't take Fleur long to reach the small stream that bubbled behind her den. It wasn't the closest place to the densite, but it wasn't too far either. If someone called for her, she'd hear them, but no one could see her from there either. They could smell her, hear her if she was loud enough, but she was out of visual sight by at least a few feet, likely more. Still, she had worn a path into the ground on the trail she took every morning, it wasn't like she was hiding nor was she hard to find if someone really wanted.

Reaching the stream, the female let her nose twitch as she sniffed the air, trying to scent any possible danger. With the early morning hunting party out, she didn't think there would be anyone near by that would put her in danger, but she was always on the cautious side. Better to be safe.

No, there's just lots of people who aren't active every day and I don't think the majority of people who signed up for it know it has started considering most of them signed up like two weeks ago.

Camus

M | 4 | Temporary Alpha | M: Arcadium [dir], Verine, Hunters [ind]

The grass was soft and moist under his paws as he inched the slightest bit closer. Arcadium, one of the older members of the pack, approached him carefully, eyes sharp and focused. He settled beside Camus lightly, eyes continuing to scan the clearing. Camus nodded towards him and returned his gaze back to the clearing.

The younger male tended to feel incredibly uncomfortable and awkward having to hand out orders to older members, or anyone, in fact. He was just the half-blooded heir who just wanted to make friends throughout the pack, nothing more. He sniffed the air delicately, eyes narrowed in an attempt of concentration. Only the scents of the other hunters lingered from the point he was residing, but there was a possibility there was genuine prey hiding among the brush, along the strong-smelling plants.

His gaze whipped around to watch Verine turn away, her gait's speed quickening as she hurried along the trees. Camus turned back to his target, having no doubt in his mind that Verine would be able to take some sort of prey down, whether or not she had help. The image of his friend in his mind was close to perfect, but it would never actually be perfect, considering even Camus didn't know what was perfect in his eyes. He exhaled softly, perking up alongside Arcadium as a small group of three does and one young buck approached the clearing.

The two assessed the group in rapid time, coming to the same conclusion of taking down the older female whp was not carrying unborn offspring in her. Arcadium looked over at Camus and seemed to signal towards the female. Camus nodded in response and nodded slightly towards the right, signaling a flank attack to rush her towards Arcadium. Without a word he slithered away through the brush, carefully feeling the floor before making a step. The only potential problem that blared in his mind was the fact that this small portion, or this entirety of a herd, would attempt to protect each other. The does may run away, the one with offspring obviously having to get away, but the buck was a problem. However young it was, it still contained much strength.

Camus inhaled, eyes continuing to scan the clearing and around him. Arcadium and himself had a relatively good chance of at least injuring the doe and stunning it before taking it down. Usually three in the group were more preferable, but they just had to make due. Camus was young and had liveliness, Arcadium had skill and experiences to rely in. The young male would have preferred someone he regularly would hunt with, or had at least learned the trade with, such as Verine, or his brother. It would be nice, he supposed, if he and Tamsu could hunt together and exist together without running into unnecessary troubles. Such as deciding which brother would lead.

Camus still continued to believe his full-blooded leader of a brother deserved the role. Camus didn't have the heart to care. He loathed leading and commanding. He would have laughed if someone had told him he would be considered a potential leader a couple months ago.
