Rache | Female | Doberman Husky mix | Charlie/Foxtrot | 61 | Mentions: All

Rache let the soldier take over.
If she wasn't Rache in Alta's eyes, then Alta wasn't Alta in Rache's eyes.
This wasn't going to be a battle between sister and sister. This wasn't going to be a battle between Alta and Rache. This was a battle between Sixty-One and Sixty-Three. A battle between soldier and soldier.
She didn't even know if the culls could break up this fight.

The doberman cross was prepared to simply step to the side, it was obvious Sixty-Three was aiming towards her legs, to maim her so she couldn't run. But Rache wouldn't have run anyways. She was a fighter and a fighter reserved energy. Only a small movement would have been needed to dodge this rage; yet she never needed to move.
Instead one of the Mike dogs pinned Sixty-Thee.

How dare he.

How dare this Mike dog interfere with her fight.

How dare he have the audacity.

"You get off my sister, mutt" she last word she spoke was filled with pure hatred, anger, disgust.
All her training to keep her emotions in check were gone. This dog was harming Alta, her sister. This dog was pinning her enemy, Sixty-Three. This dog would pay.

Rache lunged, landing on the Mike dog, pushing him off her sister and snapped at his ear. She didn't care to check if she'd gotten him or not, instead she whipped around, claws slashing across the Mike dogs face as she looked at Sixty-Three.

How dare Sixty-Three think she could just attack her.
She'd known her name had a reason, a meaning, but never knew what; but now she did.

Revenge.

She would have her revenge. On Beta, for killing her mother and taking away her sister, on Seventy-Six, for mixing himself up with a fight that he had no right to, and on Sixty-Three, for ruining the dog she'd once called a sister.
Oh, she would have her revenge.

Rache pounced, landing on Sixty-Three, her legs strategically placed.
One fore paw on Sixty-Three's head, the other on her shoulder, one hind paw on her hips, and the last paw on the floor for balance. Even a trained fighter would need to think to free themselves, with one quick movement she could claw out Sixty-Three's neck.
Why didn't she?

Female | Saluki Cross |Victor/Bravo | 85 | Mentions: Open

The female had been slumbering peacefully before the sounds of chaos rang in her highly tuned ears. She perked her slender head up and felt the slight brush of her ears on her slender neck, and she rose to her haunches. She had just been transferred from Regiment Victor, and was a Beta Dog by heart, and she didn't like likes chaos, this disorder. As she moved the slight metallic sound of her lightweight titanium legs could be heard, but in all she was stealthy.

Her hazel eyes bore a cold and uncaring stare at the dogs gathered together. It seemed the superiors had arrived as well, and now their was a fight brewing, and it was all descending into madness. She felt her jaw clinched in anger, but she masked her rage, no her fury well as she observed each dog and wondered what was going to happen.

Her curved tail was swaying slightly as she took mental notes on each dog. Her prim cut fur seemed to stand out amoung these scruffy battlers, but this female was no stranger to fights. Her lithe muscular frame attested to that, and a good diet kept her healthy and strong. She could feel the tension in the air as it was so thick you could cut it with a knife or even your claw perhaps.

She stood on the ready to fight if needed be. She felt the anticipation well up in her body, and she noted a little West Highland Terrior that seemed to be having a bad day as he was quivering in fear. He was new like she was, but everyone knew that Regiment Hotel Dogs were pampered and knew nothing of cruelty. She felt a pang if sympathy for the young male, but that wasn't her fight. Hers was the was haunting memory of her sister being murdered and her brother taken to who knows where. She would have felt a slight chill in her spine if it wasn't made of a strong titanium. She needn't be in her thoughts she needed to focus on calming these moronic dogs down before she got pissed.

She was feeling a headache coming on, and she was not risking having one. If she got a headache anytime soon these dogs would have hell to pay for it, and she would make sure of it.

Taipan / Male / GSD x Golden Retriever / Mike / I.D. 76 / M: All

Taipan was knocked off of Sixty-three by Sixty-one. How dare she. More chaos. Always, more chaos. The only thing he hated with every fiber of his being. Meaningless fights. He narrowly dodged Sixty-one's claws, still receiving a small scratch. "Enough, Sixty-one, Sixty-three. You are setting a bad example for the others in these regiments. If you are both still thinking straight, you will restrain yourselves. Now." His eyes were dark, cold, and seemed to bore right through the two canines he was glaring at. He really didn't want to fight, to create more chaos.

But if they forced him to, then they would regret it. He had no qualms about protecting himself or to restoring order. He stood tall, though he was ready to leap away at a moment's notice if need be. There was a reason he was here but he had never before seen so clearly why. At first, he thought it was just few skirmishes among the regiment dogs, but no. Even the leaders were falling into chaos. Just the thought of it made him defensive. It made him angry. If these two didn't stop, they would regret it.

Especially Sixty-three. She had started this battle but, if need be, he would put a stop to it. Beta was not going to be happy. But then, Taipan wasn't, either. The canines in Mike were trained to be leaders, to keep the dogs under them from falling into chaos and disorder. And here Taipan was, failing. He hated failing. Failing led to chaos. Chaos could lead to being removed, and Taipan refused to be removed. He'd rather die restoring order than letting someone attack him to atone for failing. He would not, he could not fail now.

Rache | Female | Doberman Husky mix | Charlie/Foxtrot | 61 | Mentions: All

Rache's ears started ringing.
This was her sister.
What was she doing?
The dobberman slowly stepped off her sister, just as the Mike mutt spoke.

"A bad example? A BAD example?! you should be telling that to Twenty-Nine. He didn't follow a direct order. No matter how special you Mike dogs think you are, culls are the true leaders. You follow their orders or die" she took a threatening step towards Seventy-Six.

She never liked regiment Mike. Cocky dogs that thought they were better than everyone else, trained to think that they were better than everyone else. Beta trained them to lead, but Beta didn't train them to be a soldier, to fight like a dog from Charlie.

Rache's eyes fogged over, her ears twitched once, and she became expressionless.
A soldier that could kill and kill again without her expression ever wavering.
She was meant to stay in an alert position, meant to wait for orders. Stay perfect and solid, like a true soldier.
She wasn't doing that today. She was done with Beta telling her what to do. She was done with letting Beta ruin her life and family. She was done with this Mike dog too.
Let her die fighting. She wasn't going to die some slave.

Rache pounced.
There was no change in expression or pose. She went from a neutral standing position to lunging through the air in a split second.
Her lips were pulled back and her jaws were agape, aiming straight for the males neck. Her face wasn't aggressive. Just blank.

Right before she collided with the Mike dog hard metal paws hit her side and sent her flying to the side.
Cull.
Pfeil.

She hadn't been paying attention. That was the first mistake that was trained out of a Charlie dog.
The second was that no dog or half-blood could fight a cull. Even a Charlie dog couldn't fight a cull, even one as new as Pfeil.
She snarled, but stood down.

Kämpe | Female | Cheif Cull (German Shepherd Cross) | 24 | M: All

No.

Not more blood. Not know. Not more chaos. Kämpe was on the edge of her patience for these dogs - there were times when she thought even a mindless robot would serve Beta far better than this.. mess. She knew Beta's reasoning, if course, but this... this made her doubt a dog's worth. Kämpe felt nothing, but there was a kit on of being fed up that seemed to have burrowed its way into her skull. Even the most apathetic of culls really couldn't evade that sort of feeling at this point.

Why the Charlie dogs? Why Sixty-three, on one of Charlie's best?

Dogs didn't just lose their minds, and certainly not Charlie dogs. Must be malfunctioning enhancements- that was the only logical conclusion. She had seen it happen once before, and of anyone, Kämpe understood the fragility of metal. Ironic, wasn't it? The cold mech seemed to snap and rust away far before the heart stopped beating. Kämpe reacted immediately, checking to verify her assumption before launching into action.

Scan Sixty-Three for mechanical faults, she silently commanded. True as ever, her internal program's voice responded, affirming Kampe's initial conclusion. More dogs became involved in the brawl. She would not let this utter disregard of rules continue.

Quick as a blink of an eye, Kämpe was lunging forward. "Everyone is to calm themselves at once!" She snarled, but it was evident that they were too battle-deaf to focus. Out of the corner if her eye, she saw a elegantly built sighthound approach. Something clicked in her mind - the long, tall frame of that canine was of a Victor dog. Beta had been preparing to send a Victor transfer over. Kämpe didn't hesitate. She had resources, and she was going to use them. The Victor dog wasn't built for combat, and certainly wasn't prepared in the moment.

"Victor," she addressed the newcomer, "stay out of the way, and make sure no one re enters the right once they back out to catch their breath." Not a moment of hesitation- just one logical decision after the next. "Commander Thirty-Four, with me."

Neutralize the threat, her mind muttered, but her face revealed no emotion. She had none, in the moment. Just cold, clear apathy, sharp, cunning thought. Kämpe new the Charlie dog, Sixty-Three had disregarded her training through the Mech failure. The cleanest way to proceed was to attack swiftly from behind.

Kampe, leapt, slamming her weight into the black Charlie dog, teeth snapping at her face.

Commander Hoffen of Foxtrot | #34 | Male | Schnauzer/Wolf cross | M: All

What the-

Hoffen's muzzle curled in a semblance of a snarl as his programming sent a jolt of pain through his skull, bringing his mind away from the distraction of the familiar dog. A Cull should not be distracted. But, alas, Hoffen was a Cull unlike the others. He was simply a dog in a Cull's shell. A slave to Beta.

His faulty programming rattled back to life, it seemed the closer he was to Beta's command the more his transmitter seemed to pick up. He couldn't feel anymore. Not the way he had when he was outside the gates. This was new, it must have happened when his transmitter was replaced.

Something ached in his chest, something that even his programming couldn't annull. It was the same feeling that he couldn't shake outside the fenced yard of Beta. The look in the small dog's eyes when her friend died. The hope, like a small candle that had been blown out. He had lost everything in a moment, or maybe Hoffen never had anything to lose to begin with. Maybe this was his fate, a slave to Beta and a mindless, cold machine.

He deserved it, too.

No, it wasn't his faullt. There was nothing he could have done for Tysta.

Yes, it was.

And with that, his programming registering the command from his superior even though he had never heard it, Hoffen lunged.

It was only then his programming kicked in once more, blocking the memories he had such a brief glimpse of. The Charlie dog, she was malfuntioning? Was he not the only one?

Could she be saved?

At the last moment he changed his course from Sixty-one's throat to the Mike dog, Seventy-Six. Hoping to grab him by the back of the neck and slam him down on the ground, Hoffen's muzzle was so close to that of his subordinate he could easily maim the creature's face beyond repair. The dog would never see again, that was a fitting punishment. Although, he couldn't be useful to Beta in that case. Or maybe he could remove both ears. Yes, that would be a suitable reminder to not ignore orders once again.

No-

Hoffen's face spasmed uncontrollably as dog clashed with machine for control. He pulled his face away from the other dog's for just a moment, in the back of his mind he was glad they were facing away from the rest of the chaos. No one would know.

But Seventy-Six-

In a brief moment of clarity, Hoffen was able to get it under control. Sliding through a loophole in the program, his nose almost touched that of the other dog as he slid close once more. His chest heaved hot breath before he spoke. "It seems you haven't learned yet, Mike recruit. You don't take on fights you cannot win, and most importantly, you do NOT disobey orders!"

Taipan / Male / GSD x Golden Retriever / Mike / I.D. 76 / M: All

Taipan didn't flinch as a canine's jaws almost snapped his face. He shifted his topaz eyes onto the cull as Sixty-three was tackled from behind. Though his eyes remained cold and determined, he stopped glaring as he realized who spoke. The German shepherd mix kept standing tall as he watched the cull lean his head forward, their noses almost touching. A breath of hot air escaped the cull's muzzle before he spoke.

"It seems you haven't learned yet, Mike recruit. You don't take on fights you cannot win, and most importantly, you do NOT disobey orders!"

"Sir," Taipan replied calmly, his deep voice low, just loud enough for the cull to hear, "with no disrespect to you, my orders are from Beta. Twenty-nine and I have been sent to restore order and destroy this chaos. But we cannot obey our orders if your canines cannot control themselves. I would have thought that Sixty-three and Sixty-one would know better than show these mutts," here the golden male gestured towards Sixty-five and Twenty-one with his tail, "such a bad example. None of these canines yet, except for you and Twenty-nine, have shown me that I should respect them. They have not helped nullify the chaos, sir."

Taipan's voice stayed even, his face emotionless. However, there was a seed of respect that had started to grow when this cull, Cull Thirty-four, had refrained from harming him, despite what the situation had seemed to be. Yet, if this cull did try to attack him, Taipan wouldn't hesitate to defend himself. The Mike transfer looked the cull straight in the eye as he stood there, almost nose to nose with him.

Commander Hoffen of Foxtrot | #34 | Male | Schnauzer/Wolf cross | M: Taipan, Kampe (briefly)

Something may have crossed the Cull's gaze, just for a brief second, as the other male spoke. He was glad that the spasming wasn't questioned, there was no way he could explain it away. The other dog's passive reply calmed his programming for the moment, and he had control. Yes, this was good. The sight of blood-or worse, a maimed body-wasn't something he could handle. Not again.

Hoffen's muzzle curled, just slightly in a lopsided expression. It was almost like amusement. He had never had a dog look him in the eye in such a manner. This dog wasn't afraid of him, or at least didn't look it.

Make him. His programming buzzed, but Hoffen ignored it.

Something in his chest ached, the male's yellow-tinted fur caught his attention for the first time, and he was reminded of a certain golden dog. But he doesn't know what you're capable of, coward.

Hoffen's gaze hardened, and he stood up straight, backing off of the male. "Sufficient answer. Stay here and guard the entrance with the Victor recruit while the Chief nuetralizes the defected Charlie dog, and if Sixty-One is smart, she willl help. Do not get involved unless I give you the signal."

With the smallest of nods, he turned to the onlooking dogs "Out to the yard, there's nothing to see here," he called, "don't let me catch you squabbling out there, too!"

Taipan / Male / GSD x Golden Retriever / Mike / I.D. 76 / M: All

Taipan saw something odd flash across the cull's eyes before his muzzle curled. Not in a hostile manner... Taipan had never seen a cull have expression like this before. Before Taipan had any time to contemplate this, the cull backed off, saying that Taipan's answer was sufficient. As Cull Thirty-four nodded at him, Taipan respectfully inclined his head as well. Something about this cull was... different. Not to mention, his order actually made sense.

He seemed to understand that sometimes you had to battle with those who were creating chaos in order to stop it. Yes, this cull had his respect. Taipan padded to the entrance, glancing at the Victor recruit as he did so. She was elegantly built, but what most peaked his interest was the look of distaste in her eyes as she looked at the chaos in front of her. It was faint, but it was there. Perhaps a few canines here had some sense, after all. He would definitely be keeping an eye on these canines.

The elegant sight hound only gave a glance towards the Cull that ordered her to watch the door. She felt a slow anger to rise into her chest, but she masked it well. As she turned she noticed a German Shepard Mix eying take a glance at her, and she cut her eyes a bit menacingly. Why the hell was he staring at her and why had the Cull involved her in this fight. She came by and stood next to him her muscular frame stood sturdy as she gave a menacing glare daring anyone to try her. Her tail lightly brushed against the males side unbeknown to her.

The female caught sight of the Hotel Dog from earlier who was having a bad day, and she felt slight panic as he was waddling towards the fight. He had made the wise choice to steer clear of it and he came near her and was shaking. His eyes were wide and full of fear, and he turned to go back to the fight, but the sight hound set her paw gently on his tail and he gave her a confused look. She gave him a slight nod as if telling him to not go and interfere. He pinned his ears and looked at the fight confused.

She felt the pain in her head return and worsen. All this noise was giving her a headache, and she felt her elegant lips curl back in a snarl in disdain and anger at this noise. Oh these noisy dogs would pay for this if it got worse, she thought fuming, but she let the snarl fall because she wouldn't let such a absurd noise emit from her lips.

As she looked at the Westie she felt a slight protectiveness of this innocent creature. She shook the though, why should she protect him? She could only watch how the fight would turn out, and not focus on the little Westie.
