Jackal frowned at Indigo. “But she would be my play-“ he stopped himself there. Naita had told him to obey the older lions and lionesses, especially if one had cubs. He backed away, his ears lowered, his tail uneasily swishing back and forth. He settled himself in front of a big rock, and just laid there, bored, watching everything around himself.

Akai felt herself being lifted, and then the warmth and comfort of her mother. Akai enjoyed that. She cuddled up next to her, taking much satisfaction that she had ‘escaped’ the danger, and was now being rewarded with sleep. Safe and sound, comftorable and compliant, she was. |

He smiled as he heard the small Prince calling his name, his heart already feeling joy from their small family. He nodded his head at Ajihad as he walked past and yawned, layi v his head down for a small nap. He was just starting to doze when he heard the scream."AJIHAD!" His eyes snapped openand he was on his geetnand running into the den in aeconds. He quickly looked around and instead of seeing an intruder Ajihad was in the ground unconsious. He quickly padded over, watching his feet of the cubs."Amara what happened?!" He asked as he looked Ajihad over and pressed his ear to his chest to listen to his breathing. |

Ajaylen struggled out of his mother and over to Nanuk.” He just collapsed!” He said, then decided to act it out. He spun around a few times, then fell over, sticking his tongue out and closing his eyes. Exaggerated much? Yes, very much so. |

The male watched with worried eyes as the male. Collapsed. He rushed over with a slightly worried expression clear on his face. "what has he eaten today?" he questioned, his voice rushed and frantic as he spoke. His tail flicked slightly as he wuated for a response.

Amara looked at Zeak. "I dont know. Nothing different than the rest of us I dont think" she said. She tried to keep Luna and Ajaylen back from the others and Ajihad in case there was a chance he would get the cubs sick too. Her blue eyes were filled with worry as she tried to wake Ajihad up by nuzzling him. |

Aslan heard Zeak and walked in carefully. He avoided eye contact with Amara and the others. "How far should we drag him" he asked as he carefully grabbed Ajihad's mane covered scruff.

Amara looked at the males. "Not too far. I dont want him completely alone" she said as she flicked her tail. She watched as Aslan nodded, acknowledging that she spoke. *At least they seem respectful* she thought. Her blue eyes watched them before she pulled Luna and Ajaylen close.

The male nodded and took a hold of the male, helping aslan to drag him a few metres away from everyone else. He must've done something to catch the illness and didn't wa t the new Cubs to catch it or the mother. He bowed his head lightly before making his way back to the rest of the pride members. "he must've attacked something or esten something to get ill" he examined. |

Amara looked at Zeak. "Do you know of anything that can help him, herbs or anything like that" she asked. She saw Aslan move back to his original spot before her eyes landed on Zeak again. She twitched her ear as she listened, wondering if anyone knew how to help. |

Astrid/Ajihad Pride
Astrid watched in soundless horror, as Ajihad fell unconscience. "Ajihad!" was the first thing she yelled. Her first instinct was to run over. When Amara ran over too, and she had to get the cubs back, Astrid backed up. She didn't want to smother Ajihad any more than necessary. How were they supposed to help Ajihad? She looked at Zeak hopefully. Maybe he would know some herbal medicine. She stood with her side close to Amara's. She didn't know what to say, so she hoped her presence said what she wanted to say. |
