Glitch: Air teacher, ruby.

Glitch looked around the room but her eyes eventually fell onto the air teacher, so when he wasn't looking she bolted from the class, and into the halls. Soon after running for awhile she found herself in a completely empty hallway, well almost their was a girl crying but she didn't care. *HELP HER IDIOT! if you get friends people won't bother you. HELLO HELP!" She Decided on walking over to her after she couldn't shut the voices up. Once over their she sat down right next to her but didn't talk, waiting for her to start up a conversation.

Ruby heard the shuffling of feet and looked up to see a girl sit next to her but didn't say anything. She scooted away from her but ended up leaning against the wall as she fell down on her side. The dragonlet growled at the new girl but crawled over Ruby's head and covered her up with it's wings to protect her. She sighed and smiled. She got up and looked at Glitch. "What do you want?" She asked as calmly as possible but her voice was still shaking as well as her hands but she tried hiding it by shifting her body. "My name is Ruby. Who are you?" She asked and breathed shakily.

Skyla looked as Glitch came back into the classroom and she smiled as she watched Glitch scribble down on the note paper and then sent it back. She looked down as she opened up the note to read that her element was blood. Of course why wouldn't it be. She was the one that had made the kid scream on the bus cause she was messing with his blood. Skyla shivered gently at the thought of it happening to her before shrugging it off. Glitch didn't seem like a bad person, maybe the kid took it the wrong way. Like always Skyla saw the best in people so she was determined to make friends. Skyla smiled as she wrote down on the paper Supposedly water which i mean makes sense since I live by a beach but I didn't really know about it up until a few days ago. My dad said that this school might help me like channel it or activate it. I don't really know. Skyla wrote before signing her name in fancy writing.

Bella smiled as Troy came "Sorry to disturb you I just found a animal supposedly a student's familiar in my room in my SCATTERED paper and my CHEWED PENCILS! She said trying to keep calm but raising her voice at the thought of her poor classroom. She then got Mishka from out of the crate and handed it Ash "Next time please keep your familiar from straying..." She said to the boy Then she added "Let's draw a line over this and forget that this happened but next time you will be replacing my pencils young man" She smiled and with that stood with her arms crossed facing both with Troy and the boy (Ash).

"Rain, alright." The cloud shifted in his hands from the shifting white mass to a darker grey, miniscule drops of rain beginning to fall. He was acutely aware that not everyone was paying attention but let it slide for now. Only giving an offhand "I hope you pass all your notes now. Once class starts I'll expect you to be paying attention."

He continued going around the room, taking answers, the cloud continuing to shift from one form to the next. A rainbow, a tornado, a hurricane, a thunderstorm. One particularly bright student asked if he could make a lenticularis cloud, which he happily did. "You Air students in here take notes. You may not be able to do this now but you'll learn. You're here for a reason, after all." It was easier for most air students to do large feats of manipulation - not like air was heavy or hard to manipulate, it was the precision of moving an invisible force that gave students trouble. It's always difficult to bend something one can't see to their will, it took intuition and sensitivity to one's environment to truly master the element.

The students were starting to lose focus, some had been daydreaming since they'd stepped foot into the classroom. "Alright I think we've waited long enough. Most of us are here - let's get to the more interesting part. Let's see what you guys can do." He said, clicking his tongue briskly to prompt August to follow him. He strode out into the hallway, starting down the corridor towards the stairs.

He paused, seeing the two girls sitting in the hallway alone. He recognized Glitch, she must have snuck out while he was focused on the other, more willing students. She didn't give him an "Air element" feel. Probably something with more edge, like Fire or Blood. "Is everything alright? Are you okay young lady?" He asked, seeing the tear streaks on one of the girls' face. She had a dragon familiar who seemed to be on edge. The rest of the students were looking over his shoulder. He'd probably attracted a lot of unwanted attention to her, but class had already begun and she was still out in the hall. He gestured for them to step back a little bit to reduce her anxiety. "Class has already started, are you lost?"

Ruby looked up as she heard more footsteps and tried to scoot away from the people that started looking at her. The small dragonlet roared and tried acting fierce to get them to back off. The dragon leaped off of her and ran towards them and squawked at them, raising its head and wings angrily. Ruby sniffled and told the dragon to come here, of course it was not in any language most of the students could understand, as it was in the dragon language, but she was too shaken up to care. The dragonlet squeaked and ran back to her and curled up around her neck. The dragon glared at the others, mostly Aziel, as Ruby finally understood that he had said something. "I-I don't know." She said. "I've never been to a school before." She looked down and held onto the dragon around her neck for comfort. She was shaking, clearly visible from the small movements of her hand on the dragon's side. The dragon nudged her gently and roared quietly, clearly saying something to her that made her smile a little. "Thanks." She whispered to the dragon and gave it a thank-you kiss on the head.

The others seemed to have class. This might be a good time to head out as they started getting their bearings. But Mal noticed a girl leaning down to hand one of their familiars, a fox, a shiny gem, effectively distracting him from his goal. He walked a little closer and kneeled down a little ways away, gazing at the creature with childlike amazement. He'd never seen a fox up close before, they weren't exactly plentiful in the jungle. And those living there were so skittish, it was impossible for him to sneak up on them. She was so fluffy and adorable! Did foxes like shiny things?

"She's so cute! Do foxes like shiny things?" He voiced his question to the girl, looking up at her. What would a fox do with a gemstone? He looked up at the fox's human, who had introduced himself as Kylo. "Ooh, potions? I've always wanted to take a real potions class! Blowing stuff up and making ones to turn people into frogs and all that. Sounds fun!" He paused a second, realizing he hadn't introduced himself yet. "I'm Malachi by the way, nice to meetcha Kylo."

Ruby looked up at Aziel and slowly stood up. She was still shaking and still tried to hide in the corner but she was standing now. The dragon growled at anyone that looked at her. She extended a hand to stop the dragon before she said with a soft tone, "even if it's not my class.. Sure. I'll give it a try." She said before the dragon nudged her neck with its head. "Oh! Uhm.. Here." She picked up the dragon with both of her hands and showed it to the rest of them. "He's very protective but he won't hurt you, I promise." She smiled but the dragon wasn't smiling. It glared at everyone, clearly not happy. She then placed the dragon back on her shoulder before wiping away some more of her tears, the dragon also helping, as she walked up to Aziel. "My name is Ruby, by the way." She told him. The dragonlet climbed up to her head and curled around it, nessled into her hair. She knew the dragon was very protective of her, though she didn't know why, and she was very grateful of it. She wasn't sure of what to think of Aziel. He's a teacher, right? I guess he's supposed to help me? That's kind of him. She thought and gave a little smile.

A scream. Professor Pinefrost had run off in that direction, so Ash followed close after him. He already had no idea where he was going, so this didn’t really bother much of anything. Apparently Mishka had been scattering papers all over the room and attempting to eat pencils. Although pencils had never been an issue before, she was still a puppy and trying new things. He hated the thought of her being caged up in a crate, but it was probably for the best in this case.

Holding Mishka as if she were too fragile to set down, he nodded. He left out a comment about not even knowing she left in the first place. Things like that got him in trouble during early middle school years. Now he still had to go to class. Air studies would probably help since that was his dominant element so he needed to hurry since he’d already missed some time there.

Ash tried his best to sneak into class. Not because he was late, because he didn’t want to be noticed. His heart was pounding as he entered the room, only to see no one in it. Sighing, he figured the class was elsewhere for the lesson today.

As he entered the hallway, a few kids were on the other side. Somehow he had missed them the first time. Once again he quietly worked his way to the back of the group, trying to figure out what was happening. Some kid was freaking out about having to be around people? Or that was what he had figured out so far. Usually Ash would be the one to find a quiet place to worry about life, though you learn to deal with these things eventually. Or you learn to use a mask, at the very least. Then it hit him. Was this even the right class? He had better ask someone soon. Once this is over, maybe.
