Ruby | Female | Fire (blood) Element | M: Zion Xenos, Charlie

Ruby smiled. "It's nice to meet you." She bowed to Zion before she heard the pitter patter of feet behind her and turned around and saw Charlie. The dragonlet raised it's body to be on her head again as it let out a high pitched roar. A warning. Ruby would usually stop the dragon but she didn't feel like it. After all she was still on end from the other male. "My name is Ruby." She told Charlie. Her voice was stern and slightly shaky but it was hardly noticeable. The dragon flapped angrily at the other male before glaring at Zion. The dragonlet could not fly yet but it could glide and climb. Ruby cleared her throat. The dragon turned it's attention back to her and then rested on her head. "This is my familiar. Sorry if he's a bit aggressive, dragons are naturally aggressive and he's no acception." The dragon snorted. She was scared of the dragon hurting everyone around them as she knew it could hurt the others. She patted the dragonlet's head and stroked it's wings as the dragon relaxed and seemed to melt into her head. "What are you two doing here?" She asked and looked at the two males around her. She looked at Zion and smiled at him as she was trying to seem friendly. She didn't want them to shut her out as well. Let's hope I can at least have one friend during this time.. She sighed quietly as she felt the dragon paw her hand and scratched its chin in exchange. The dragon seemed tamed right now but until the dragon grew older it could not be fully tamed, and Ruby knew this as her family bred dragons and she had to know about this stuff if she would ever help her parents.

Ella:

She slightly smiled when as the boy helped her. Once back on her feet she rapidly looked around as if trying to find someone. "Yes I do. The air class, I don't have it but I know where it is. Would you like me to show you??" She held out her hand for the young man to shake "Ella pinefrost . first year. And you are?"

Charlie:

Charlie smiled and joked "thank god your a nice first year. Most kids wouldn't even take to me." He looked the dragon up and down "wow I have never seen A Dragon before, It is beautiful!" He than looked back at ruby "hello ruby. This is my familiar pip" he held his finger out for the humming bird to land on. "Have you two gotten your schedules yet? If so I could show to to your first class?" He offered with a huge smile on his face.

Ash buried his face in his blanket. He didn’t care what day it was or what time it was because he needed sleep. An owl was staring at him all night, and trying to sleep with something watching you is practically impossible. Besides, it was a saturday. He could sleep till 1 PM if he wanted.

Everyone was rushing around the kitchen when Ash arrived. He just came from the tree house and was now looking for breakfast. Usually by now his sisters would be at school, though, so this was odd behavior. “What’s happening?” He waited a bit for a response. “What are you all rushing around for?” Once again there was no response. He decided to try again, but louder. “Helloooo? What are you all rushing around for?”

Everyone stopped and stared straight at him.

“What?”

So, apparently today was Ash’s first day at Hawking Academy. How should he know that? They all know his memory is terrible. He pulled his sweatshirt over his head. Hopefully he wouldn’t get a detention on his first day for being a few hours late. Even the big tough football players who broke everything they touched didn’t get detentions on their first day. He hopped around, trying to get his boots on. And now everyone’s mad at him for oversleeping!

Jogging through the house, Ash reached the kitchen where a ton of papers were being thrown into his hands. As he tried to collect them all into a neat pile, someone threw his backpack at him, and his mom shoved breakfast into his hands. Before he knew it they were already in the car on the way to school.

When he arrived everything had finally been sorted out to their proper places in his backpack. Yawning, Ash stepped out of the car and slowly walked into the school. He looked around for a classroom full of kids. Homeroom maybe? “Up until 20 minutes ago I thought it was a Saturday,” He mumbled as he continued to wander the halls.

"Maybe I would if I had ever met any of my students before." He said idly, finding her name on the list and marking it off. What had she expected? Sadly the list hadn't come with any pictures. "Unfortunately mind-reading isn't my area of expertise." He said, letting his own edge of sarcasm creep into the last sentence. The "gramps" comment got no reaction. This wasn't his first Fire student, he could ignore few petty insults. He gave the next girl to walk in, who looked a great deal more nervous, a reassuring smile and a quick "Welcome to Hawkwing, Miss Skyla. You can sit where you'd like, no assigned seats." He stood up, walking briskly around the large desk to stand in front of it. He leaned back on it, addressing the students continuously walking in and sitting down. "Alright guys, I need your first and last names please, to make sure everyone's in the right place. We wouldn't want any casualties on the first day." He gave the room a joking smirk.

At that moment August arrived, massive wings taking up the entire windowed balcony as he landed, stumbling a little bit as his feet hit the ground. Probably returning from the sea after a quick snack of fish. He knocked politely on the door with his beak to alert Aziel to hs presence. "Ah, and not a moment too soon." He said cheerfully, striding over to the balcony and opening the glass-paned doors to let the huge bird in. "Morning Auggie, you were almost late to the show." he ruffled the bird's neck feathers a bit, which he accepted with a dignified dip of his head, before walking up to sit next to the desk. He had long since learned not to react to other familiars, so even the massive Cane Corso didn't give him pause. "Young lady with the red and black hair," His gaze fell on Glitch, who had tried to sneak past him without talking, as he resumed his teacherly duties. "Name please?"

Troy pinefrost: M.ash

He wondered the halls looking for students who were lost, so he could help. Slowly he saw a student and walked right up to him and said with a huge smile and a hand out stretched for the young man to shake "hello I'm professor pinefrost, but everyone just calls me professor troy, what might your name be, and are you lost? Do you need help finding your class?" His spider monkey sitting on his solder also reached out a hand for the kid.

Glitch: M. Air teacher, and anyone in the class.

At the sound of her name her head shot up and she stuttered "g-glitch. My name is glitch." and with that she lowered her head again, trying not to cause a problem with the girl from before.

Malachi continued to gaze down at the paper but wasn't getting anywhere. Who wrote in cursive anymore, anyway? The text was so loopy and elaborate, he could hardly tell an "L" from a "C" from an "I". "I guess we're free for a while anyway." He said absently to Lotus, who had laid her broad head on his shoulder, slithering slightly further down his arm to better examine the people around her. She wasn't a shy creature, perhaps a curious one though. She liked to just check people out and get a feel for her surroundings. There was a calm intelligence in her yellow-green eyes, one easily recognized if you took a moment to stare back.

"Well I don't have class right now, so I'm gonna go check out this giant freakin' campus." Malachi said excitedly to the general group, folding his schedule back up and nodding towards the apple orchard-looking section to the east of the main building. Maybe there would be something cool over there, even if he couldn't find the dorms. The loosely-formed rows of apple trees looked nice and healthy, lush with the promise of some sweet, delicious apples. It appealed to him on a subconscious level. It looked like a great place to unwind and relax - maybe meet some other students. Thoughts of finding the dorm faded away to thoughts of climbing a tree and maybe taking a nap.

He started walking down the rugged stone path towards the orchard, turning to look over his shoulder. "Any of you guys wanna come with me?" Maybe some of them were free too.

Skyla gave him a small smile back as he was rather friendly. That was a good thing right? A nice teacher for her first class. She assumed this was the class she was supposed to be in. I mean where else was she suppose to go. Skyla looked to the girl in the red hair that had caused drama in the beginning of the bus ride. Glitch. That was a unique name. It intrigued her but she had to be poliet. "It's nice to meet you Glitch.." Skyla mumbled with a light smile before looking to Finnigan who was still chilling on her lap. "Mr. Aziel? Is there any w-water related areas here? Just asking.. Out of curiosity." Skyla said looking down to Finnigan who slapped his small fins softly.

Jemma looks to everyone else and then down to her phone that she had a map of the school and her schedule taken on it. She didn't know how to read cursive. She barely ever even learned cursive in middleschool. Jemma sighed as she clicked her phone off before looking to Malachi as he spoke about how he didn't have anywhere he needed to be and was asking if anyone would join him. Jemma shrugged "Why not. I'd assume I have no where important to be. Plus I mean lets be honest. This place looks pretty cool." Jemma said with a small grin before she set down a excited Tido on the ground who instantly began leaping around the floor and then running down the stone pathway. Jemma let out a small laugh as she watched him hop along with excitement. "Im sure all of our familiars could use a chance to stretch their legs" Jemma suggested to the others to maybe get more people to join along on the exploration.

As she walked into the class she looked around to find a seat. She decided to sit next to Skyla as she was the only person she had been familiar with. "Hey!" She said in a decently quiet voice so no one but Skyla would hear. Then she got a notebook out and Rex decided to jump on the desk. She picked up a pencil and started doodling.
