Aziel | Air teacher | M: Amber, students coming to his class

Aziel had arrived early to the school, punctual as always, to prepare his classroom. It was standard-looking, with lots of ruged plants scattered about, hardy cacti, grasses and vines giving the place a natural, lived-in look. He'd spent a good bit of time caring for them when he'd gotten back to his room, cutting off dead leaves and watering the ones that needed it. Instead of desks there were long benches, repurposed loak logs that had been cut in half and fashioned into seating. Books and papers lined the many grey, minimalistic shelving areas, along with a healthy number of knick-knacks and collectable decorations that made the whole room a joy to explore. One could look through it for hours and not get bored.

But Aziel's true classroom was the field outside. A clearing lay in the foliage, hidden in the waist-high grass, rippling the color of flax against the steely grey sky. All of his training equipment, tools, and his hands-on lessons were stored there. That was where class would take place usually, but they had been told to meet here for the first day so... he wouldn't argue with the establishment.

Classtime was now upon them, and the first students of the year began to file in. He was sure there would be a few stragglers - his room wasn't exactly easy to find. It was situated high in one of the school's grand towers, overlooking the grassy field. He sat at his desk, taking names and checking them off as each stdent entered the classroom. He glanced up nonchalantly as the dark-haired girl stormed into his classroom, snapping something about burning the seating chart. He could feel the heat from here - undoubtedly a Fire student. He heaved an inward sigh. Hopefully this would be a temporary thing. "Nope, there's no seating chart. We'll be going out there soon anyway." He said evenly, nodding his head towards the window and the field beneath. His eyes flickered back down to his list of names. He usually didn't need a seating chart, hopefully he wouldn't have to change that this year. The girl kicked her feet up on the long desk - weird, why didn't she have any shoes? "I'll need your name though, Miss...?" He paused, waiting for her answer and twirling his pen between his fingers.

Malachi | M: Kylo, Wil
Malachi let Lotus slither back into his backpack as they neared the school. It towered above the tiny road leading to it, grand and majestic. Almost like a castle. He stood up before they had even stopped, grabbing his things, and made a beeline for the door. He hopped off the bus, disreguarding the steps, and making Lotus hiss warningly in his ear for him to be more careful. She had laid her head on his shoulder, intently taking in all of the new sights and smells. "Pretty cool, eh noodle?" He asked, using one of her many nicknames. But of course she, preoccupied, didn't respond. As he walked, leafing through his schedule, a girl bumped into him, apologizing and quickly running off. It was as if she expected him to snap at her, or light her on fire or something. Well, judging by some of the expressions of the people around him, that was probably more likely than you'd think.
What a bunch of grumps! I can't imagine being angry all the time. That would be exhausting.
First class... Free time. Sweet! He'd have an hour to move in and get all his stuff in order. But a quick look at the heavily detailed, clearly old map gave him little information about the school's layout. Where the heck was the dorm building? He looked around, eyrbrows furrowing as he searched for someone to ask. A small group of people was forming, standing around uncertainly and he quickly made his way over to them. A cheerful, grinning boy he recognized from the train - the one who was talking to his familiar the whole time, if he recalled correctly - and a red-haired, purple-eyed guy with a fox. Cool. "Heya!" He called cheerfully, waving to catch their attention. "Do either of you know where the dorms are?"

Rebecca | M: Rex
As Becca kept looking for Rex she made sure not to bump into anyone else. She finally found him munching on some leaves on the ground. She quickly snatched him back up and bopped him on the nose for running. "You can't do that to me Rex, what if I lost you for good?" She had a sad expression on her face but Rex just looked back up at her and licked his lips. She put him on her shoulder and headed inside. She scurried around her bag for her schedule and it fell on the ground. God I'm such a cluts.. she thought to herself while bending down to grab it. She picked it up and read through it. First class... Air.. (until my question in discussion gets answered I'm just going to join this class with you guys..) Now where is that? She flipped her schedule and Wow! Look at that! A map! She excitedly thought. Yet no room numbers or names or anything.. just an outline of this terribly large school.. she looked around for any source of direction for where the class is, too nervous to walk up and ask anyone directly. How am I going to survive in this school... it's better than home but still.. she thought with a beat expression on her face.

Amber Burnley ~ M: Aziel

She sighed in annoyance, looking up at the teacher. She took in his looks, a bit of disgust in her glare. "Isn't it the teachers job to know who they are teaching?" She retorted, looking back outside. She paid no attention to the room, it all being a bore. The only thing that caught her interest was the logs, and only because she wondered how long they would burn in a fire. She stared outside at the feild, neglecting to acknowlege anyone else in the room. Aeron looked at the teacher, barking slightly at him

"If you absolutley must know my name, It's Amber Burnley. Try to remember it, gramps." She looked back, the comment directly pointed at his greying hair. She got a smirk, chuckling to herself over what she called him. Aeron started to wag his tail, a sloppy smile on his maw. However, when she stopped laughing, he stopped smiling. She returned her gaze outside. "So what even is this class about? It seems so dumb." She said, honestly not even impressed by the school yet. She had expected someone who could teach her how to hone her powers and being stronger than she ever was, not some grandpa teaching her class. She groaned slightly, disappointed in herself for agreeing to come here. She tilted her head back, closing her eyes, her black and red hair falling back around her tan shoulders.

Skyla/ Mentions: Air teacher,Amber
Skyla hesitated as she entered inside the building. She saw Jemma near the group of guys but she didn't dare make her way over there. She was too shy. Instead Skyla peered down the hallway at the mean girl who had suddenly rushed into a classroom. She assumed that maybe that was where she was suppose to go? She could find her locker later. Right now she was a little more concerned about getting to class. Skyla walked down the hall nervously as she got to the classroom door and hesitated before stepping in. There seemed to only be the mean girl with the giant dog and the teacher as of right now. Oh Jeez Finnigan.. Skyla thought as she gave a small wave to the girl in the back and then to the teacher as she went towards the middle of the classroom and sat down. "H-hi.. Im uh Skyla James." Skyla mumbled as she set Finnigan down on her lap. Seeing as there was no water anywhere in sight. As of right now she'd have to keep him pretty glued to her lap unless she'd want him to get stepped on. Or worse.
Jemma / Mentions: Group,Malachi
Jemma looked at the halls and everything before looking as another guy joined the lost group. Jemma gave a soft laugh as she glanced in his direction slightly walking back towards the group "Do you think we'd all be gathered her standing with our hands in our pockets if we did know where we were going?" Jemma asked sarcastically before flinching as Tido had nipped her on the ear. "Ouch.. I mean maybe If we just look for a classroom with kids in it we'll find the classroom were looking for?" Jemma suggested as she rubbed her ear before lightly flicking Tido softly on the forehead. "Stop going soft on me. You'll get eaten alive by these other familiars if you think being nice is a good idea." Jemma mumbled to Tido.

Glitch: M: amber,
She ran into the class not even looking at her new teacher, hood still over her head, she took a seat in the front left corner. She knew that the girl she attacked was sitting down a few feet away from her but refused to Acknowledge her presence.
Holly: open.
Holly ran through the open field to the beach behind the school, she didn't have a class yet. She had free time so naturally the first thing she did was grab her board and rush to the water guppy on her tail, as they booth raced to the water. She quickly took off her shirt revealing a blue Bikini with yellow flowers, she jumped into the water and stated catching huge waves that she with ease surfed with out any wipe outs. She manipulated the water to better fit the way her board was going, doing flips, front and back, gliding gracefully across the water.
Charlie: open. Before he ran into Ella.
"finely class is over." He laughed with his friends. But paused when he saw his sister running through a dark hallway, carrying a lot of books. Witch reminded him "dad! Sorry guys I can't hang I have to go check up on my dad. Catch y'all on the field" and he ran off to the greenhouse, and walked in as the his fathers students where just leaving. "So first day back. How was it?" He asked waving his hand over a dead plant from the class before, reviving it and placed it in a spot he knew it would thrive in.

Ruby | Female | Fire (blood) Element | M: open
Ruby walked around slowly as she was still getting used to the place she would be going to for school. Her dragonlet on her shoulder hissed quietly at passings of others. She reached up and scratched the small dragonlet on her shoulder until she heard the rumbling of happy growls. She smiled, knowing that the dragon was calm made her calm and happy, as she watched the dragonlet. She was walking too slowly to have run into anyone and if anyone got close to her the dragonlet would squawk at them in warning. Her black sweatshirt was turning red from the light as she walked. The now red sweatshirt matched her long red hair. The dragonlet climbed to be on top of her head as it opened it's small wings and flapped them. She knew that the dragon was only trying to protect her but she was still nervous being around others as she didn't know if they would find her annoying or stupid like everyone else did. She would stick to herself, as she's been doing so for her entire life, if she ever had to.

Zion Xenos l M l 18 l blood lM: Open

Zion stared out at the village laid out below him. Screams of small gremlin children could be heard floating through the air. This background noise had started about seven minutes ago. He had been up since 4, enjoying the quiet scenery of the early morning sky. Sighing, he turned around to climb back through his bedroom window.

Song, his familiar, stretched out on her branch near the room’s ceiling. Zion remembered how difficult it was to screw a spider web of tree branches into his room. Months later he was still picking bark out of his hair. Song looked so peaceful sleeping up there and He didn’t want to wake her quite yet. They had to leave in about a half hour, though. Grabbing a few dried berries from a container on his desk, he dropped a few near the cat-like creature. The only issue would be if she took the berries and ran a while down the branches. He had to stand on his bed in order to reach.

After Song had awoken and they both retreated downstairs, Zion’s family had come to tell them goodbye. Some of his younger siblings kept squirming like they couldn’t wait to take over his room, while the others were annoyed that he wouldn’t be able to play with them. He laughed a bit and hugged everyone goodbye. Song tried to lick their faces or bite some of their noses off.

“Stay safe and don’t blow anything up,” His mother said.

Zion smiled, taking advantage of this opening. “Y-you know I don’t have any ducks.” This was one of their pointless inside jokes that absolutely no one except anyone in their family over the age of seven understood. They were lovely.

Alright, maybe 400 meters to the main road. That point was where the bus had agreed to meet him. They lived past part of the woods and the road was difficult enough to travel on without the branches in the first place. While it could be an interesting place to explore and look for exotic mosses and mushrooms, traveling to places took forever. Now the only issue was finding his way to the road without getting any poison ivy.

Turning to face the sun, Zion began to walk down the path to the forest. The sun burned his eyes so he found himself staring at the ground till they reached the forest. Once they entered it would be easier for two reasons. The first was that the sun wouldn’t try to hate him, and the second was that he knew shortcuts. Song walked by his side, used to these random little voyages into the thick wooded land which probably hid a bigfoot or two.

Upon entering an army of gnats decided to defend their territory by launching themselves at this poor human. Swatting the bugs aside, He turned left at the giant moss-covered rock which meant he’d leave the trail behind. Zion knew these woods like the back of his hand and had been exploring them for years. He twisted the orb on his necklace around his fingers absent-mindedly. Left, another left, right...and straight towards the creek. Darn, the waters were still high from last time it rained. He glanced back and forth, knowing that it was too late to head back for the bridge. The quickest way across was straight through, though the water would be about at his rib cage.

Grumbling, he slowly worked down the steep ground leading into the creek. He pulled his backpack above his head and Song clung onto it for life or being wet. Taking in a deep breath, He began to rush through the waters. “Oh my gosh!” Freezing! It was freezing in there! Zion shivered involuntarily and tried to push through the rest of the creek. The water was waist deep and it took all of his focus not to trip.

He trudged onto the bed of moss welcoming him to dry land again. One disgusted look summed up the whole trip as he tried to pick wet bits of grass from his pants. With the heat of the sun, he should be dry soon enough, though being stuck in something wet was still no fun. He adjusted his backpack onto his back then began walking through the forest again. Song pawed at the top of his head, messing up his hair in the process. She climbed down to his shoulder to watch where they were going from an easier surface to hold onto. Zion ran a hand through his hair in protest of Song’s absolutely amazing fashion advice, then traced the small scratch marks she left on his neck after climbing down. While they were good companions, sometimes red pandas could be so annoying to look after.

Soon an odd-looking vehicle arrived near the corner of the road up ahead. From here it was clear that the vehicle was a bus, though everyone else around would probably be complaining about hippie dance groups again. They sure did like to hang onto the past, huh? Now the only issue was entering the bus without looking like some crazy wood creature who speaks red panda and sleeps in a creek.

Zion found himself being pulled towards the bus by some invisible force. He loosened his posture and tried to take longer strides. His familiar, Song, then attempted to blind him by wrapping her tail around his eyes. He brushed her tail away, glaring at her in the process to indicate that she did not need to make this more awkward than it already was. Alright, he didn’t know anyone there yet so straight towards the back of the bus would do fine. He tried not to lose his head when the vehicle lurched forwards to leave. Song looked like a frightened cat clinging onto the seat for dear life. He petted her, trying to calm the animal before scooting over to the window.

Great. Just wonderful. Some kid was having their arm eaten or something. He couldn’t tell exactly what was happening and didn’t care to find out either. They were just obsessing over it for nothing. “Tsk- overdramatic.” He was resisting the urge to call them all gremlins, so pulled a safety pin out of his pocket to mess with instead. Tuning out all the noise, he turned to stare out the window again. This was going to be a long year.

-time skips again-

Alright, everyone was either wandering around or finding someone to talk with. There was a group of kids talking over there, and Zion was just going to avoid them for now. He scanned the campus, looking for something to do or somewhere to go. There was an apple orchard nearby, that would do. He jogged over and launched himself into the tree. Er- climbing like a monkey is a better way to put it. He dropped his backpack on the ground and pulled over to a sturdy looking branch. Swinging his legs around, he dug into his pocket for more interesting little trinkets. Another safety pin, what looked to be a small flute, and a bottle cap from 1995. Maybe the flute could still be played? With a sharp shrieking noise, it was marked as a no. His ears ached. Note to self: Never play the flute again.

Ruby | Female | Fire (blood) Element | M: Zion Xenos
Ruby wandered around for a while before she, as well as her dragonlet, heard the loud screeching of a flute playing and she hissed in pain before the horrible sound stopped. She looked at the dragonlet on her head and nodded to it. The dragon roared quietly before it hopped down and walked towards the sound. She followed it after seeing it's two tails motion her to follow. It was safe. She walked until she saw a man climbing a tree and smiled. She would prefer climbing a mountain over a tree any day. She looked at the dragonlet as it got on it's hind legs and opened it's small wings and squawked at the male. The dragon was much faster then she was but she was already by the male and the tree he was on. "Hello there. Are you alright?" She asked as she knelt down and patted the dragonlet on the head. It purred quietly before giving the male a glare and climbed up onto her shoulder. "My name is Ruby. Who are you?" She asked as she felt the dragonlet grab the end on her sweatshirt's hood and move it above and over her head. With a quiet thank you to the dragon she looked back up at the man. Was he going to be alright? Is he hurt at all? She asked before humming. She waited for his response as she fumbled with the hood and the dragon that was resting on her shoulder and neck.

Charlie: M. Zion, ruby,
"is was. wonderful thanks son." His father replied with a small pause, most people would think he did that to lie about his day. But Charlie knew his father did it to reflect on his day to give you the most honest answer. "Well that's good to hear." He smiled "shouldn't you be going and greeting the new students?" He said pointing to the school Charlie sighed "I wanted to check up on you first. But yes ill go greet the new kids." And with that he ran out to the front of the school, he looked around seeing a girl with a dragon, that Caught his attention quick and a kid in a tree. He quickly walked over and started conversation pip sitting peacefully on his ear. "Um hello. I'm Charlie pine frost a 4th year here at hawkwing Academy. What are your names?" He happily asked

Zion Xenos l M l 18 l blood lM: Ruby, Charlie

Zion rubbed a spot of dirt off of the small copper flute. He shoved it in his pocket as some girl decided to walk over. If you can’t start a conversation, go do something suspicious and the conversation will come to you. Perfect. Brushing a few leaves out of his face, he watched as she talked to her dragon familiar. The dragon...squawked at him? That threw him off a bit. They did that? He thought they roared.

Soon the dragon was already near him and apparently he was stuck in the tree now? He was an expert tree climber and was not stuck at all, thank you very much. Nodding, he said, “Zion.” The origin of his name had something to do with a Christian viewpoint from what he remembered. Something about the City of Zion being another name for Jerusalem which was some kind of chosen city? How could one city be better than the rest, He didn’t know. All places were special in their own place and time.

Another kid was walking over now. Zion popped the safety pin open and tried to pierce through the now weak metal of the bottle cap. This time the other person was a guy who kept using a cheerful tone. He went ahead and marked Charlie the fourth year in his head, categorized into the ‘possibly important to recognize people at school’ section. He pulled the pin out of the bottle cap, leaving a hole in place, and shoved it into his pocket. Flipping the cap in his fingers, he thought of what to say. “Zion Xenos, 18, n-not mentally present right now.” Well, half true. He’d rather be stuck in the forest than at school again. He barely even knew what this place was supposed to be like anyway.

Kylo Tempti-Raptash l M l 17 l fire lM: Wil,

Wil, alright. Kylo already enjoyed his tone of optimism. He smiled, “Yeah, I can’t wait to explore and finally...magic things? I think that’s the term.” He stood there for a moment before offering his name. “Oh, right. I’m Kylo.” Tapping his foot on the floor out of an old habit, he looked around the room. Which hallway would they have classes in, or rather- His train of thought was thrown off when someone came barreling through the crowd at 100 miles an hour. He tried to step backwards, hopefully avoiding collision, but she managed to drop her books anyway. Stupid boys...assuming that’s someone else. He’d been called that too many times to count by now. “Ah, it’s fine. Sometimes it’s hard to avoid humans.” He reached down to help her pick up her books. Bouncing around with energy, he gave them back to her.

Ey, another person to interact with. He threw a hand up in response to the person waving. They asked for the air classroom? “I have absolutely no idea where the air classroom is!” Kylo said that in his best ‘absolutely nothing is wrong’ tone. Saying the ‘I have absolutely no idea’ phrase in a tone like that was an old joke with some of his friends back at home.

Another girl offered an answer of how none of us know where we are. Good point. “Wandering around with no plan in mind to find a classroom is better than my idea at least.” His idea had been they each run in a different direction till they find the air classroom and then yell the code word-probably cheeseburger-to indicate that they found it. The only issues were the’ everyone’s in a different area’ part of it, the fact that the building is too big to yell like that, and the awkwardness of yelling cheeseburger in a public building.

(I might be able to finally get Ash a starting post in a few hours)
