So, basically, I was thinking really late last night about the genuine meaning of life. Like, why are we here? Is God even real? What is our purpose? Is there life after death? Ya know, things like that, and I wanted to know other people's opinions so I don't feel like a fucking insane person who hasn't left there house in too long aside from going to school.
Also, please be civil if you don't agree with someone. This should go without saying, but some of you can be a bit immature :") |

huh this is going to be a tough question and might lead to drama but:
I dont think humans have no purpose, I think we just like everyone else make our own pupose. Think about it, the only reason we are alive is because we have family, friends, goals etc. to keep us going. Some say their puprpose is religios, and others dont. thus humanity as a whole does not have one sole purpose...make sense? |

Im not religious and I dont believe in after life, I think we live to be alive but then we die and its done |

I'm not religious either, but I do think there's some sort of afterlife, which is weird considering I don't necessarily believe in God either. It's confusing ;; |

this will be interesting- Personally, I do not believe in some higher power that can grant mircales to those who believe, I don't believe in a god or anything close to it, I do believe in some form of "Hell" per se. I don't think that those who suffer in life like this will just be rewarded for whatever life they lead by belieiving in some guy. I believe those who deserve to be punished after life will be, and those who don't, well, who knows? I don't believe there is just a heaven. A direct contradiction of this within myself may be my working with dieties in my practise, but I don't think so. I don't think that just because there isn't a God or Devil in common knowledge, that doesn't mean there isn't higher powers in play. It just may not be the ones that we see and hear about. |

Me too. They're cliches for a reason. Give your life its own purpose. To decide on one is boring. I just want to enjoy myself, pursue happiness, all that sappy shit. |

I've been thinking about this quite a bit as well I find that our life has no purpose. We can only give it purpose and once we do, we attempt to live that purpose. We live, and then we die, and that's it. I've been having a shit load of shower thoughts on this, and being the agnostic bastard I am, I think we just..are here.. |
