This was my first one! There are lots of issues that I wish I could go back and change looking back now, but I was happy at the time that at least he looked like a dog by the end of the project. The glue marks on the nose and brow are not removeable, or at least not easily removed. If you get hot glue on any of the fur you're using, you're going to have a bad time. :< |

My first raptor base was used then, and I really liked working on it, aside from smelling e6000 fumes for like 2 days straight. :< Those feathers were such a pain in the ass. The neck material was super cool, and I wish I could find the fabric again. It looks like small, shiny black scales, and had a good amount of stretch to it for any headsize to comfortably wear. The top of the head was padded with foam, so that the wearer isn't stabbed by all of the feathers lmao. I also had completely lined the whole head area with fleece, so it was padded for long wear. I never got good pictures of this one, so, check out my bathroom I guess. :< This was a refurbish project that took way longer than I had anticipated, and I'm not super happy with the outcome. I wish the fur layed differently, but her mouth moves when you talk, so it had to be bunched a bit on the sides in order for the mouth to move properly. It was like that already when I got her, and there was no way for me to really fix that unless I'd remove all of her fur. I redid her horn, chopped all of her original hair off and replaced it was acrylic fiber that I hand-pulled (it can also be styled with a hair straightener, so that's a cool perk), added some lashes, and dry brushed her markings on. The previous owner must have partied with her on, because she smelled a bit like alcohol when I got her, and it took so long to wash her (multiple times) to get the smell and some of the stains on the white fur out. That part really sucked, since the person I bought her from to refurbish said that it was brand new. :< |

 This is a currently ongoing refurbish project that I am really digging. She's a sabertooth leopard head. I still have to fix the nose, teeth, eye rims and reline the inside, but she's coming along nicely. :D Her eye whites are 3D printed, and so much nicer than trying to create perfectly matched eyes with flimsy material like my first two. |

I just kind of came up with the design as I went along, so I don't really know exactly what species he is (I've been told panther x lion?), so I have been calling him a werecat. He has a moving jaw that opens and closes when the wearer speaks, and is form-fitted to the head in order to achieve a more realistic look (instead of how bulky toony heads are). He was a major pain in the ass to make, but I am overall happy with the end result of him at this time. :D The fur had looked darker online, so it was a bit of a surprise to see it as such a light brown in person, but I think it works. Though, I do kind of wish that I had made a simple panther, with all black fur. I think that would have made the eyes stand out that much more. Edited at June 9, 2020 10:38 AM by Nox |

One of my too many WIPs! He will have a black neck and a bright rainbow mohawk in celebration of pride month! His jaw will also open and close, showing off an array of big dino teeth. I may add a quirky long removeable tongue, and potentially a nose ring. Edited at June 27, 2020 01:59 PM by Nox |
