The fluff is very true, your boy definitely did not have the Pyrenees fluff. His fur also did not appear to have the same texture as their coat. To me he looks more like a white golden than a Pyrenees.

Pyrenees are lighter-boned, much fluffier, and have floppy ears.

My dog has fur that lies close to his body, has no ears, and is way thicker than a Pyrenees. Not to mention he doesn't have a tail, either.

And it almost always results in a Craigslist ad, "Rehoming! Don't have the time for him anymore!" like, buddy, you signed up for a well-trained animal and forgot the fact that you have to train them, *well*, in order for that to happen. It's an epidemic in Denver. I used to be an EMT there and I cannot tell you how many times those "service" dogs tried to eat me for getting a boot in the front door.

Every dog community anything I've tried to join online, it's always the self-diagnosed POTS service dog because they don't want the psychiatric service dog stigma but they had to have something that sounded valid and then they have an Aussie mix that has anxiety but is 'doing really well' working on its reactivity to become a service dog.

Soooo many people are living in tiny ass 1 bedroom apartments with these "service" dogs that are the most ill-behaved, anxious, reactive animals on the planet. And it's always a Husky or Aussie or some other high-energy breed. It's ridiculous.

I think the only like super surefire way to rile me up is to talk about breeding your shitty purebred dog or watching dogs that aren't suited for service work being pushed into it.

Or calling my dog a Pyrenees.

Or saying doodles can be purposebred for service dog work.

Or someone with a Malinois saying dog training is really easy.

Or people who seek ungodly off breeds to be service dogs and then talk about how they can't handle a wash.

And really, everyone, thank you very much. I enjoy being lathered with compliments, and I am feeling very good about myself today. I want to take a picture of myself, sign it, and kiss it.

Calhoun's post is amazing, of course. I love the dialogue :) For some reason I read all of it in a voice like a Peanuts character. You really incorporated the dust into the story, very nice dust-building.

Engima, if your post is 1/10th the length and 1/100th the quality that I've seen you post before, I think your post will be fantastic :) In fact, I know it will.

Freedom, that's such a perfect way of describing his voice! I was hoping for it to sound similar to that. If anything, slightly deeper, but literally exactly like that. I wanted him to still sound childish given his age, but slightly mature. And thank you, I loved the dust idea. I couldn't resist and needed to incorporate it more.

I think the wagon is up for interpretation? I personally imagined something without a top, like a farmers wagon, but closed does seem more practical.

Just describe it however you like! I don't think it matters all that much and we can all conform to what you decide it looks like :)

Yeah, I have no idea what the wagon looks like. I personally imagined an open farmer wagon, so the dust is at its worse, but I don't mind whatever is convenient.
