Rowan
Family; Rowan doesn’t hate his parents, he just… Well, he doesn’t know how to feel about them. Sure, they forget he exists every now and then, but that’s normal. Right?
Friends; At school, Rowan sits alone at lunch. He’s been pushed into the weird kid clique without actually hanging out with them at all. He’s easy to overlook, and yet when he doesn’t- He sticks out like a sore thumb.
Cain (6); Cain definitely isn’t annoying, he’ll be honest. The two also haven’t interacted all that much though. And maybe Rowan’s melancholic drama can be a bit annoying to other people and so that’s why but he definitely doesn’t blame Cain for that. Besides, Cain is popular, Rowan isn’t.
Astrid (5); Astrid is… Well Astrid is a bit too pessimistic for him to actually want to get along with her. She seems cool, but his downer energy is enough already. He can’t deal with anymore of it.
Nicole (7); Nic is cool! Rowan doesn’t get to talk to her too much, and she isn’t really a talker either. But it’s nice whenever they do get to hang out. They can sit in comfortable silence or have conversations where neither of them get hurt from it. It’s nice.
Heather (5); Someone else that he can be around fairly easily. She doesn’t like loud people and he rarely speaks anyways. Even so, there’s a distance between them that Rowan isn’t sure about.
Finley (2); Now this is someone that Rowan can’t find it within himself to stand. Finley is just always so… Well.. Emotionless? Apathetic? Blunt? Rowan doesn’t even know the word for it. But it’s terrible.
Ami (8); Now Ami, on the other hand, is awesome! He’s optimistic and loud and friendly and everything Rowan wishes he could be. So it’s awesome whenever they get to talk.
Quinn (3); She’s only barely more tolerable than Finley, and it’s because she actually shows emotion. No matter how terrible they are half the time.
Jay (5); Similar to Heather and Nic, actually. The two can sometimes get along, but Jay’s lapse to anger is a bit problematic with him.
Ayakai (6); Practically the same as Nic, the two can get along in a comfortable silence. But seeing as she’s a bit shy and easy to fluster, it’s hard for him to really know what to say whenever they do talk.
David (4); Better than both Finley and Quinn because of literally everything. The only thing that makes him slightly worse than others in Rowan’s opinion is his extreme pessimism. Rowan can’t deal with anyone else being pessimistic, since he wants to help but doesn’t know how.
Finley
Family; Finley honestly doesn’t care either way. He doesn’t talk to them, and as far as he’s concerned they don’t talk to him.
Friends; Friends? Surely you mean the group of people he sits with at lunch? Well. He doesn’t sit with anyone at lunch, much by his own choice actually. He doesn’t see the point in talking to people during lunch, after all.
Cain (5); They’ve had a few conversations, in all of which Cain was polite, just as he was in turn. Quite honestly though, Finley rarely goes one way or another with people and Cain is no exception. Finley doesn’t see the point in Cain’s surface-level friendships with people either though. What’s the point in a friendship if it can’t go any deeper than that?
Astrid (5); He can respect her understanding of the world around her. But again, he doesn’t understand why she acts the way she does. Not completely anyway. Sure, he can understand how some events would make a person act that way, but he doesn’t see the point in them acting that way. Still, when they talk it’s usually smooth sailing. At least in Finley’s opinion.
Nicole (5); Ah, yea, Nicole. She’s quiet and they haven’t spoken much, and at times he simply doesn’t remember her existence at all. But that’s to be expected, isn’t it? If you’re like him then Nicole would simply be another nameless face most days.
Heather (5); If he were capable of not being as apathetic as he is… He’d possibly not like Heather as much as he does now. And, to be fair, he doesn’t exactly like her right now anyways. He’s neutral with her, just as he is most people.
Rowan (5); Despite the man’s obvious dislike of him, Finley is continuously neutral with him. Truly, the man is a bit dramatic, a bit of someone who overreacts at everything, but still. Finley has never been the reactive type, so perhaps he’s just under reactive.
Ami (5); If there were ever a time where Finley wished he wasn’t apathetic, it was when he met Ami and couldn’t even talk to the man for two minutes before the shorter was clinging onto his arm and begging him to take back whatever it was that Finley had said to upset him. Honestly, he still isn’t sure what he’d said. Regardless, Finley’s a bit too blunt for this one, he’s certainly aware.
Quinn (5); Quite honestly, Finley can’t decide if he actually dislikes her or if his apathy just grows stronger after each interaction with her. Nevertheless, it doesn’t matter to him. She’s simply not his type of person. Everything she does seems pointless, honestly.
Jay (5); Her anger, while uncalled for, he can understand. So it doesn’t bother him much at all. Other than that though, she’s simply another face in a crowd.
Ayakai (5); The two have only spoken when they are paired together for an assignment, but from what Finley has seen, she seems alright to him. Not someone he would go and seek out, but no one truly is anyways.
David (5); Another nameless face in the crowd, another random person that he hasn’t spoken to much. Truly, everyone is the same to Finley’s eyes at this point. Despite this, David is obviously an introvert and the two have spent time in the library simply reading near each other before. So he seems okay to Finley.
Ami
Family; Ami is not a fan of his father, at all. But in all honesty, he can’t stand mentions of his mother even more. She left them, she left him. And he doesn’t understand why. He keeps on thinking, maybe it would be better if he understood… But he doesn’t. And he hates it.
Friends; He’s gotten in with theatre kids, as well as the cooking club. So it’s all good. The theatre kids are weird enough to not judge him and the cooking club doesn't really care as long as he can cook. Obviously.
Cain (7); He’s cool! Ami wishes he could have as many friends as him, but he knows that it’s not for everyone. Maybe they could do a few laps together, as Ami actually is on the track team and so can do a few runs.
Astrid (5); They don’t talk much, and honestly… Ami isn’t dumb, he can tell that Astrid isn’t a fan of him. Honestly though? She seems cool and he wishes they could talk more. It’s fine though, at least she doesn’t yell at him at all.
Nicole (6); Nic’s a bit too quiet for him but other than that they get along perfectly! He doesn’t mind her company and honestly will just rant to her at times if they’re talking.
Heather (7); Heather seems really cool in his opinion! Sure, she seems annoyed by his talking most of the time, but that’s completely fine. He could definitely shut up a bit if she found a way to be a bit nice in asking him to be. That may be the only problem really, Ami is just too sensitive.
Rowan (8); Yesssss, his buddy Rowan! Graves is kind of a scary last name in his opinion, but it’s fine. Row is simply great, and Ami has tried on several occasions to get him to join theatre. Unfortunately, he hasn’t succeeded yet.
Finley (1); He’ll be honest, he doesn’t normally hate people but… Finley is just… Finley’s terrible! How does anyone stand him!? Honestly! He can’t imagine having to see Finley everyday.
Quinn (4); The only bad thing about Quinn is how mean she can be. If she was just a tiny bit nicer to people, maybe they could be friends. But she’s a bit too mean for that, unfortunately. And we all know Ami doesn’t take well to mean people.
Jay (5); They can usually get along fine, it’s only when Jay has the anger lapse that Ami ends up being too sensitive for them to hang out. And so, they aren’t that close.
Ayakai (7); She’s just so adorable! He definitely likes to talk to her and see her all flustered, even if he doesn’t actually like her. He just loves to tease her. He is very conscious of what he says though, and if it would upset him then he doesn’t say it to her.
David (6); He honestly doesn’t know how to feel about David yet, they’ve rarely talked before. But when they do, Ami feels this overwhelming urge to help him with his insecurities.
