It's just going to end up one massive polyship, ain't it? I'm sorry, I know absolutly nothing about the ruler's actual personalities, but I had to do this:
~
Iritir: Quickly! Soldiers, arrest my sister, and we will finally have peace!
Garizha: How dare you twist the people's loyalty so? You incompitant fool, if you had your way the Empire would burn! Soldiers, side with me, please, I will not run our great nation into the grave.
Drahoslav: Or, we could, you know, not.
Galen: You are both the incorrect choice. We have come to a decision amongst ourselves, you see.
Amittai: Hey, no, fuck you I do what I want!
Cadoc: See, you've both got good points. But you've also got really stupid points.
Ellie: Yeah, no, we're gonna stick with what we actually want.
Eliska: You both suck!
Xanthia: Everyone stands to benefit far more if you both were out of the picture.
Emery: While either of you would be able to lead the country, it would be far better to install someone better.
Tyral: Woo! Hostile takeover, BABY!
Iritir: W-! Well, what the hell kind of idea do you have? Nothing you have thought of can outstrip our claims to the throne!
Garizha: Do you plan to install one of yourselves on the throne? Preposterous! Not one man, woman, nor child would follow such obvious traitors!
Iritir: Exactly! At the very least, Garzzi has royal blood flowing through her veins! Not a one of you can claim such a lofty position!
Garizha: And though he has no experience, at the very least I know Iritir wouldn't kill off the nation!
Iritir: Aww, sis, you really think so?
Garizha: You policies are infuriatingly short-sighted and untenable in the long run, but... Yes, the country probably wouldn't just keel over under your hand.
Iritir: There's nothing wrong with wanting peace! War costs so much, and some day we're going to overextend!
Garizha: But you wish to enforce peace by practically shutting down the military! Then what would happen once our neighbors regained strength? Peace is fine, there must be periods of peace for the Empire to recover, but forswearing all conflict will only destroy us! Plus, there is a massive religion based entirely around fighting for the Empire! You'd cause a civil war if you disbanded the army!
Iritir: I... did not think about that... But-! Our legal system needs a massive overhaul! There are so many old and obscure laws that have no place in our country! Did you know, that it's illegal to purchase more than ten pounds of raw iron at a time without a permit physically signed by the Emperor? The smithies in the fishing hamlet of Telisad order that amount of iron every month! There are only 200 or so people living there. The bureaucracy is incredibly convoluted, red tape is everywhere, and you can't pass wind without hitting someone corrupt!
Garizha: Okay, fine, yes, those a rational reasons for changing the legal system, fine. I will admit that. But you preach a dissolution of our current social system, only to enforce a considerably more limiting system on the populace that is exactly as much out of their control! Yeah, the social classes are far too diasporate to be best for the Empire, but that can be changed a few rulers down the line, once the populace has accepted that a man and women are not fundamentally different beyond biology! And the Empire's name is STUPID! Apaseon. A. Pa. Se. On.
*This continues, the siblings arguing over politics and the Empire, untill an agreement was reached that satisfied both parties*
Drahoslav: Mission acomplished.

I'm sorry, I have a problem. I should have been working on an RP reply, but no. I just had to write this trainwreck. Forgive me.
