Welcome to me and Serein'sOmen's shenanigans. If you are not ASomeonePerson or Serein'sOmen, then do not post. Obviously. Feel free to follow along, though, as we try to figure out just what we're going to traumatize our OCs with. That, and find ways to make them happy for once, of course.

There WILL be good scenes. XD But we must figure out the lore and such. I am thinking the name of one of the places is Garjiang.

Oooooh, that's a cool name actually. Does it murder all its magicians?

Sounds about right. Yep. A big city, very gaudy and "glorious". (Also, excuse my slow responses. I am rather riveted by an Asian drama on Netflix)

Interesting, interesting... I'm taking note of the quotation marks on the word glorious. Majia is... I don't even know what Majia is. Well, was, considering that's it's pretty much just rubble by now--unless the kingdom that absolutely wrecked it somehow managed to make some use out of a place they literally burned down. Majia is still going to have once been the heart of magic. I'm unsure as to what that might mean. Maybe... it was just "flowing" with magic? A place where many magical people were born?? Maybe mythical creatures once lived there??? I'm also unsure as to what made the place turn into garbage. What I mean by garbage is that there was a great divide between the peasants and the nobles, a lot of its regions were littered with crime, and just... general unpleasantries.

Oh, and don't worry about not responding in time. I'm also busy with my adoptables, hence why I keep poofing. Who knew making curtains could take so much time...

Perhaps Majia somehow had a source flow of magic through it that was stronger than any other region. But as the kingdom began to prosper, power began to corrupt and people started taking advantage of the magic, leaving the ones with more magic with more power, which usually ended up with them being corrupt. The city was brought into divide and other kingdoms saw magic as corruption. The more corrupted it became, the magic force began to seep from the no longer hospitable kingdom, and so it fell to Garjiang

Yeah, that's a very good idea, so totally going to yoink that. Also, I just got a dark idea from that: I might make it so that the nobles of Majia were all powerful magic users who wanted to be even more powerful, so they would send select people into villages and cities in search of children with high magical affinities, and these children would then be brought to them and they'd "take" their magic (this might not actually be possible, but they could have been fooled or fooled themselves into thinking that magic can be taken). This'll explain my boyo's dislike of nobles, and also why he despises his magic. Also, what if magic has, like..., some sort of sentience? It's not going to be one to disobey and will simply do what it is ordered to, but... it has a form of intelligence, to some very small, very difficult-to-understand degree. A presence, of sorts.
