Hellooo! Sorry I disappeared again :') I'm finally back home from a long and luckily mostly good break (save that one group of family members who have a shit ton of drama and only discuss that drama and politics, but at least I was only around them for two days '^^) so I should hopefully be back to a regular-ish schedule, lol And happy (now late) holidays! And happy new year! I hope you're doing well <3 - Yeahhh, that makes sense, haha Bode and Faust being the autistic siblings, lmao Cue the trauma I'm guessing XD - Very fair, Leiani just likes attention because she's clingy and refuses to be alone for two seconds, so- I feel like she'll probably end up dragging Cass, Venia, Clio, and Haila into literally everything she can (aka, makeovers, jewelry making, dress-up, and every game ever). Admittedly, Eyphah will make her a little nervous at first and it'll take her longer to warm up to them, but eventually they'll be dragged in as well. And their parents too, mostly in the form of makeovers and sitting through musical numbers and plays, lmao - Don't think I've heard that one, I'll give it a listen :D And that's hilarious, I love it so much XD - Omgggg, they're so cute and pretty I literally adore them, they're so precioussss!!! - Also, have a sweet little skit/clip between Akira and Leiani as a late holiday gift, haha - *First Christmas with Leiani, who's finally started to warm up to the polycule and her siblings* Leiani, who's never really experienced Christmas since her 'parents' were never able to do much for it and obviously the system didn't help any, questioning Akira about Santa: “Does he smoke?”
Akira, slightly confused but amused: “No, he doesn't smoke.” Leiani, taking this in for a moment before nodding: “Does he gets paid?”
Akira, smirking slightly: “Of course he gets paid, it's what the cookies are for!” Leiani, pursing her lips: “He gets paid in cookies?” Akira, nodding: “All kinda of cookies! Chocolate chip cookies, white chocolate chip macadamia nut-” Leiani, looking more confused: “How many does he take home?” Akira, shrugging: “He doesn't take any home, he eats ‘em while he's there!” Leiani, now looking a little concerned: “How is that healthy!” Akira, smiling a little: “It's not, but every other day of the year he eats celery all day!” Leiani, nose scrunching at the mention of her least favorite food: “Celery?! I knew there was something wrong with this guy!” Akira, highly amused: “Lei, there's nothin’ wrong with eating some celery.” Leiani, critical: “All day, every day?! If he eats all the cookies, where does he go to the bathroom?” Akira, holding back laughter: “Now that's a great question, Lei! You see, Santa has a magical digestive system which allows him to create toys out of food!” Leiani, narrowing her eyes: “Really?” Akira, nodding: “Of course! That's what makes our house so special!” Leiani, blinking: “What? Why's that?” Akira: “Because those are the toys he gives you!” Leiani, giggling: “Ew!” Akira, grinning: “You better wash ‘em before you play with ‘em!” Leiani, smiling: “Okay!... Merry Christmas, Kiki.” Akira, eyes softening, ruffling Leiani's hair lightly: “Merry Christmas, kid.” Edited at January 2, 2025 11:17 PM by Lost Memories

You're totally fine, holidays are always super busy Glad yours went alright, at least - Oh for sure cue the trauma I do think Bode and Faust will get along alright though - That's adorable Cass and Venia are both going to love being older sisters to Leiani. Clio of course is enjoying being the eldest in general. So many privileges among the siblings, she's going to boss them around so much and absolutely tease them about everything. - Oh I love that little skit/clip with Akira and Lei- That's adorable. Garvin is so trying not to laugh in the background.

I think so, Faust will likely get pretty protective of Bode pretty quickly as well, especially if they end up close enough in age that they're going to the same school, lol - I love that Leiani's just gonna be happy there are people around that humor her being an actual kid and enjoying her hobbies rather than shutting her down :') Also will end up fully embracing being the youngest(?) eventually Meanwhile, Eyphap's for sure trying to avoid getting attached to literally anyone while simultaneously attempting to gain all the attention by doing stupid shit and putting themself in life-threatening situations constantly... everyone's gonna have a great time with him I'm sure, haha - Glad you liked it! And, yeah, Nico too, lmao Though Eyphah will probably try pulling an all nighter so he can capture and threaten Santa because "What the fuck are you doing breaking into our house and stalking people, you creep?!!! What are your real intentions, huh?! I never consented to any jolly old man watching me and my sisters sleep!!!!" He's... he's a little paranoid XD

Bode will probably end up at least a little protective of Faust too, honestly. Which totally wouldn't cause any problems or angst for anyone. Obviously. Mhm. - Venia and Leiani are so going to be close sisters. Like, they so enjoy each other's company. They constantly encouraging each other. Like. They're such sweeties lmao Oh boy, I can already tell that Cassandra and Eyphah will be getting into so many situations. And given that Eyphah likes to drag Faust along too, those three are going to end up being menaces for sure. Not that anyone will actually mind all too much. - Cassandra would be trying to pull him back to bed like 'Dude, who cares, it's free stuff' XD Garvin would be on the ground with how much he'd be laughing if he found out Eyphah had pulled an all nighter to try and catch Santa though

Have some incorrect quotes! Mostly Garvin, featuring Eyphah, Akira, and Revan. The Garvin and Revan one is honestly more of an incorrect skit thing than a quote. -- Garvin, to Eyphah; “You may have disappointed god, but I for one could not be prouder.” - Garvin: “You know the sound a fork makes in the garbage disposal? That's the sound that my brain makes all the time.” - *Garvin is ordering a cake over the phone.* Shop Employee: “…And what would you like your cake to say?” Garvin, covering the phone to look at The Squad: “Do we want a talking cake?” - Garvin: “I wish I had acid. Thank you, Jesus. Amen.” - Garvin: “I have one brain cell and it bounces around in my skull like a windows screen saver.” Garvin: “When it hits a corner perfect, I’m allowed one good idea.” - Akira: “I’m really glad “fight me” has replaced “sue me” in the common vernacular because I don’t have money, but I do have fists and I am always angry.” - Bailiff: “Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth?” Garvin: “No.” - Garvin: “I think we can all agree I’m the ten amongst these threes.” - Garvin: “Hello, I'm Garvin. I work at a shop now. Here to help. Look, they gave me a badge with my name on it in case I forget it. Very helpful, as that does happen.” - Garvin, tearing up the room: “Where are they?” Garvin, looking under a pillow: “Who moved them? Who moved my children?” Garvin: “Somebody moved my M&M's, and now I am going to start killing.” - Revan; “You are disturbingly bad at geography. Most basic geography quiz— What is the smallest country in the entire world?” Garvin; “It’s one of the low ones… Is it south or east?” Revan; “Excuse me? What about north and west? You creep. It’s in Europe.” Garvin; “Oh, UK.” Revan, shaking his head; “You’re like a ferret on fentanyl. What mountain is the tallest in the world above sea level?” Garvin; “Mount Everest?” Revan; “What is the largest island in the whole world?” Garvin; “Australia?” Revan; “Wrong.” Garvin; “Fuck!” Revan; “Greenland.” Garvin; “I thought that was cold?” Revan; “That doesn’t have anything to do with being an island. What country is known as ‘The Land of the Rising Sun’?” Garvin; “Egypt?” Revan; “No!” Garvin; “Germany?” Revan; “Wrong— What?” Garvin; “…America?” Revan; “No— Have you ever heard anyone say ‘I’m proud to be in the land of the rising sun’?” Garvin; “Iran?” Revan; Garvin; “New Delhi?” Revan; Garvin, looking at the globe he’s holding to find more countries; “…Does that say the n word on here?” Revan; Garvin; Revan; “It’s not in North America, it’s not in South America, it’s not in Australia, it’s not in Antarctica—” Garvin; “So it’s in Africa?” Revan; Garvin; Garvin, referring to the quiz question list; “Give me it, I’m gonna see if you’re so much better.” *Revan hands him the question list.* Garvin; “Which canyon is considered the deepest in the world? Oh, that literally says the ‘Yarlung Tsangpo Grand Canyon’…” Revan; Garvin; “What is the smallest country in the world?” Revan; “I literally asked you that and it’s the Vatican City. I literally asked you that question. Jesus Christ.” Garvin; Garvin; “What mountain is the tallest in the world above sea level?” Revan; “I literally asked you these! Mount Everest!” Garvin; “You did?” Revan; “Are you shitting me?” Garvin; “What is the largest island in the world?” Revan; Revan; “You’re fucking me— I asked you— Greenland! I asked you that!” Garvin; “What is the capital of Japan?” Revan, taking a breath; “Tokyo.” Garvin; “What is the name of the largest island in the world?” Revan; Garvin; Revan; Revan; “Garvin!” Garvin, realization dawning upon him; “…I asked that already?” Revan; “You just said that! Are you smelling toast? Are you hot? Like I’m thinking I’m about to call paramedics—”

Mhm, for sure. Definitely no angst, lol - I love them already. They're literally to end up being each others cheerleaders and that's just the most adorable thing ever :') Yesss, for sure the new chaos duo! Though Eyphah will also cause some genuine problems most likely. Especially when they start developing an actual bond with people because that's scary, especially with Faust who's essentially a mixture of a best friend and attempted damage control. Cass is a sister, which in Eyphah's mind, puts her in a similar place as Venia (though not entirely the same, because Venia is blood, twin, and also already too bonded to be easily detached from) which basically means she can tag along all she wants, but she'll rarely be pressured to join in really dangerous behavior. Also, she's probably easier to mentally distance himself from that Faust is purely because of how Eyphah manages to back themself into a corner when it comes to accidentally getting way too attached to Faust, so, big oops- And we'll just say Faust's (reasonable) sense of self-preservation and anxiety doesn't always pair well with Eyphah's slight apathy and extreme self-destructive/self-sabotaging behavior- - Yeahhhh, Eyphah would be so upset. Like, refuse to touch anything 'that old man' left in the house... Until he watches everyone else open presents, get the things they want/enjoy, and be all happy and then they'd just be really confused because "Why would anyone break into someones house just to be nice? Where's the catch?!" And then he opens a box of lego (With much encouragement) and boom. Attention captured. Bro is not leaving those things until everything is perfectly built, then stares at it, then starts to tear up when one of his parents compliments it because possitive, uncalled for attention?!?! What is that?!?! Haha Ohhhhh yeahhhh Eyphah isn't just pulling an all nighter either, he's fully equipped with a knife and bat. They're gonna stab Santa for breaking and entering XD - Also, a silly little HC for the twins! When they first arrive at the polycules, even though they have their own rooms/beds, they always manage to end up in the same bed because they aren't used to being apart. Eyphah likes to state that Venia's just clingy, but they actually can't sleep alone either. Eventually, they do grow out of this, but when one of them gets really upset or has an episode they usually go back to this old ritual until things get better :) Edited at January 1, 2025 11:40 PM by Lost Memories

I love the incorrect quotes! They're all amazing! Eyphah would be tearing up at that first one (because 'someone's proud of them???'), and then trying to hide it (because 'crying is weakness') Lmao

Definitely no angst, mhm, and definitely no Bode getting trapped in thought looping haha what? Of course not. - The two will be great for sure. Oh no worries, Cassandra is going to be causing legitimate problems too. Quite a few honestly. She needs to know how far she can push everyone without them wanting to get rid of her, after all. Will say, Venia definitely is probably the type to accidentally guilt trip Eyphah into not being too self-destructive/self-sabotaging due to just how insanely dependent and clingy she is of him. Definitely think it's rare to see her not within eyesight or earshot without ending up panicking. - Imagine Revan ends up expecting Eyphah to try and stay up all night to beat up Santa and so our resident past insomniac just leaves the polycule's room in the middle of the night. He catches Eyphah and continues to wrangle him into bed as the polycule used to have to do to him- That'd he hilarious. - Awww, that headcanon is adorable and for sure true. The polycule ends up letting them have rooms right next to each other so it's easier for them if they have a night like that. - Glad you liked the quotes! Garvin would literally just start listing shit at that point, honestly. Like, every little thing that Eyphah has done to purposely piss them off, every step in the right direction the kid's made- Like. He would be getting Eyphah to cry that day for sure. And then tell him that he's proud of that too (a 'I'm proud that you can cry around me' sort of thing). Honestly, having problem children is going to be so healing for Garvin. Just because of how many times he was led to believe that him being a problem child is what got him into so much trouble with adults in his life growing up. Only to find out and realize now that he has problem children that he couldn't ever do anything to them like what happened to him. Like. It's going to end up making him have to think about shit and change how he views some stuff. Edited at January 1, 2025 11:59 PM by Overthink101

Whatttt? No, surely not. That would neverrr happen, lmao - Not the two of them pushing everyone to their limits and expecting the worst, lol And, yeah, I can see that for sure Eyphah's gonna be dealing with so many emotions that he just cannot handle, resulting in everything coming out as anger, oops, haha - Oh my god, yessss, that's so what would happen XD - I love it! - Poor Eyphah would be so confused and on the floor sobbing by the end while still trying to weakly protest every single word that Garvin says because they're too scared to believe it even though he really wants to and everything that's happened with the polycule points to what Garvin's saying being true... They've certainly got their work cut out for them, lmao And I love that so much! It's so sweet! - Also, totally not related to one of my million story ideas- What sleeping position does Venia usually sleep in? :)

Never, not once, as if - Venia will probably be both helpful and incredibly unhelpful the entire time with Eyphah, not going to lie. Cassandra is going to help as much as she can. Clio will too. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Bode probably doesn't like Eyphah too much at first. He honestly probably frightens them a little. And then Bode gets to feel bad about that too. - Revan saving a child's sleep schedule (and a partner from getting attacked by said kid because I for sure believe that each year they switch out who's pretending to be Santa/who's in charge of putting the gifts out) is something I didn't know I needed. - Garvin would just use the protesting as more stuff to be proud of. Somehow. He'd find some way to twist it into something to be proud of. Just because he is not about to let any part of Eyphah feel unwelcomed or unwanted. Like. Garvin is so good at unconditional love with these kids, he's so proud of them just for existing. They could light him on fire and he'd still find something to be proud about in that moment. Like how they managed to light him on fire without him noticing, for example. That takes some serious skill! Nice job! Just- One of the kids eventually do something on purpose that is like, verbatim something he had done on accident once while he was growing up and staying with someone. And like. Garvin has just a small breakdown when he realizes that what had happened to him in response to it in the past wasn't actually justified or acceptable or anything because he would never do it the kids in front of him. Even with them doing it on purpose, he wouldn't. He could never. The kids in question of course are very confused and probably a little nervous but like. Damn it, it'd end up being so wholesome and adorable. - Hmmm- That's a good question. With or without Eyphah? With Eyphah, I feel like Venia is very much clingy. Very snuggled up and very hard to get away from without also waking her up. Very much a sort of scared to let go sort of sleeping position. Without Eyphah, I think she'd be pretty much always sleeping in the fetal position. Like she cold without her twin there to hold onto. She probably has a stuffed animal she holds onto instead eventually, still curled up into a fetal position.
