Kano, snorting and closing the door: "Well, anyone would be annoyed, but I don't think they would call. Sol, they don't even know who they are. You're fine."

Sol, quietly watching Kano go sit on their bed: "You're making Ginny mad."

Kano, grinning: "I'm making you mad, Sol. Ginny reacts to you, remember? But that's fine. You can be mad at me. I don't care. You shouldn't go around annoying people."

Sol, sitting and burying his nose in Rosemary's fur: "I didn't, my brain started hurting. Irfam said I was a psychopath. Don't be mean."

Promachus, keeping steady: "And Pewter?"

Manic Irfam: "What about, Pewter, Gabe? Don't you have things to be doing?"

When your home’s so close, and you’ve reached your coast, that’s when our paths collide. I’ve got a reputation, I’ve got a name to uphold. So, I can’t go and let you walk or else the world forgets we’re cold…”

Manic Irfam, taking his mask off: “Now get in the water… Get in the water.”

Manic Irfam, grinning: “Or I’ll raise the tide so high, all of this kingdom will die.”

The enemy: “Wait.”

Manic Irfam, proceeding to get closer: “Get in the water.”

Manic Irfam, not stopping in his advancements: “I’ll make tidal waves so profound, both your wife and your son will drown…”

The enemy: “No!”

Manic Irfam: “I’ll take your son and gouge his eyes, that is unless you choose to die!”

Sol, eyes widening: "I'm not a psychopath, don't say that, Kano! You know-"

Kano, rolling their eyes: "I know you are one, Sol. There's a reason you were there anyway, and it's why we met. Just save you breakdowns for when you're alone and there won't be a fucking problem. It's not a matter of being sane or not, Sol, it's a matter of being percieved as sane. Simple."

Sol, shaking slightly: "I'm not insane, Kano! You said I wasn't before! I know I'm not!"

Kano, chuckling: "Whatever makes you feel better, but don't have Kostas or anyone contact me about you again, got it? God, you're pathetic. Can't even keep it together in front of other people."

Sol, quietly: "I'm not."

Promachus, not acknowledging the question, redirecting to Angelita again: "Irfam. Have you checked on Angelita today or were you assuming she's fine?"

Manic Irfam, recoiling: "Fuck you! She's fine! She'd tell me if she wasn't!"

Promachus, keeping impassive: "Would she?"

Promachus, staring Irfam down: "What about if Pewter were around? Would she still tell you?"

Manic Irfam, definitely getting agitated: "Get out of my lab, Gabe!"

Promachus, continuing to push: "What happened the last time she told you while Pewter was around?"

Manic Irfam, flinching back: "I swear, Gabe, if you don't get out!-"

Promachus, interrupting Irfam: "What? Do what you did to Angelita the last time she told you while Pewter was around? She came back, Irfam. I wouldn't. Sol wouldn't."

Manic Irfam, hand searching the desk behind him mostly subconsciously: "I don't care! Get out! She asked for it! She had it coming! I didn't do anything wrong! I didn't! It was her fault! Not mine!"

Promachus, noticing the searching hand: "You attacked her. And now you're getting ready to attack me, Irfam."

Manic Irfam, totally not being egged on by Pewter in the background: "I- Get out! I don't want you here!"

Promachus: "That's still no reason to attack me, Irfam."

Kano and Sol: Kano calms Sol down in a mildly toxic way.

Promachus and Irfam: Continued crisis.

Kano, laughing quietly: "You know I love you, Sol, and you best be glad for that, because, if I didn't, you'd have an even bigger problem on your hands. You'd be insane and alone! You're lucky you know, so you should just listen to me and move on. Get over yourself. You're broken, just the same as me. And the most we can do is hide it."

Sol, looking away: "No. Stop it, Kano. You're making all of them angry."

Kano, sitting up: "No, Sol! I'm making you angry! You! For some fucking reason! Stop pretending like it's someone else and recognize your own emotions, you're pissing me off now! I helped you, didn't I? I got you out of the spotlight! If you wanna break down now, go for it! But don't go around pretending like your emotions aren't your own again, especially not when they're about me! Be mad, asshole! I can take it! Always have!"

Sol and Kano are two incredibly unstable people trying to help each other while also kind of hating each other because they're both reminders to the other of how fucked up they both are, haha

Also, this is just making me realize more how Sol and Irfam would definitely be amazing friends, but they'd also be constantly triggering each other for sure, which is less good XD

Irfam as a villain would be unstoppable haha

Promachus, taking a deep breath: "Irfam, I'm not trying to fight you."

Manic Irfam, way less sure of the gun in his hand but still pissed: "You- I'm not-"

Promachus, noting the shakiness and taking a tentative step forward: "I'm sorry I pushed so much, I was only trying to make sure everyone was okay. That's my job, and you know how I am while doing my job."

Manic Irfam, pissed and staring at the shaking gun in his hand: "I- You- I don't-- You're lying- You're fucking lying, I'm not- Fuck you! Get out!"

Promachus, staring him down: "You know I can't."

Haha, that's great. Promachus has multiple ways of dealing with a manic Irfam, just depending on what's going on. A manic Irfam that is yelling and being mean and defensive? Promachus takes the approach of 'trigger Irfam into remembering how bad that can be'... It usually works.

Yessss- Irfam and Sol being chaotic amazing friends until Irfam is in the midst of an episode (manic or depressive, probably either one haha) and triggers Sol.
