Just… Giving you some information about Andi. Fair warning, this is going to be a bit different than how these are usually done, haha. Instead of having characters saying the words, I’ll be explaining the scene and what the lyrics refer to.

This line is mostly just setting the scene for the rest of the song. Which is Andi’s house. It’s the last house on a block, and all of them have sloped lawns with steps to lead up to the house, which allows most (if not all) of the houses on the block to have basements. Andi’s house included, which is the more specific part of the house where the song is taking place.

If a character were to say these words, it’d be Andi towards Garvin. And what these lines mean here is that this whole thing is at least slightly planned. Devious design is Andi’s doing. The first line there refers to a bit of one of Andi's tactics.

I think this is where I’ll pull in some vagueness, haha. There’s a bathroom in the basement, including a tub. Andi, due to Weakness, would know that Garvin can’t swim. Do with this information as you will.

Andi was mostly referring to himself with the laughter part. But Garvin’s reaction to trauma, as we know, makes it both of them. Which, while not what Andi was expecting at all, does make Andi more obsessed. Which, okay, here’s why, Andi doesn’t kill until the person breaks down screaming and begging.

Smokey eyes here refers to Garvin’s gray eyes. Villainous thing and the line coming after (2x) refer to another part of one of Andi’s tactics. The middle line is exactly what it sounds like.

Despite how terrible everything he’s doing is, Andi does see it as love. The first line there also refers to part of one of Andi’s tactics. Same with the ‘glory’ there.

This is mostly referring to more tactics of Andi’s. Or parts of the same ones as before. Andi mostly (minus 3) went after people that no one would notice gone or would be looked for or where someone would tell authorities they were missing to begin with. The tactics, somewhat, have to do with that. Kind of. They draw/stem from that.

This one mostly refers to Andi’s tactics again. Except for that last little line. Most people didn’t last very long, so Andi wasn’t expecting more than a detour until the next one, basically. The longest anyone had lasted before was a year.

This one again is mostly Andi’s tactics. Except now, Andi is definitely a bit more obsessed with Garvin due to just how long he was lasting. Garvin was there for almost two years, just for reference. So no more little detours. Actually, Andi’s kind of thinking of Garvin as the last.

This refers to some of Andi’s first victims, including the three that were actually looked for. Well, especially those three. Those three had been looked for, with missing posters and everything. And they’re the only confirmed victims, the only ones that would be used in a case against him. These lines also hint towards some of Andi’s tactics later on.

Again, refers to Andi’s process as a whole and how he won’t change. Though the second line is less said as if it’s making him feel sick and more so him taunting the world and what it would think of him.

Andi was one to taunt. It slightly hints towards a bit of his tactics, but more than that it just hints at how Andi is as a person.

This one actually sets up a bit of a scene, a victim in the basement (gonna execute the mother) and Andi on the ground floor (elevate the man).

They're gonna propagate the killer, eliminate the youth

Again, kind of sets up a scene while also hinting at what Andi is doing. Gonna propagate the killer, his past errors of the three that actually mean he could be found out. Eliminate the youth, he’s killing people. Not much else to say.

They're gonna blind date everyone until you love them too

This is more so about Andi’s process at first. He doesn’t actually blind date victims, he meets them and talks to them before using his abilities (and other things) while they leave so that he can grab them minutes later without seeming like he was immediately following them.

This part switches to refer to Garvin and how when the two meet, he didn’t actually think he was in any sort of danger. He was used to talking up a crowd, used to lingering stares during (more than) slightly drunken conversations, used to back and forth banter similar to the type that Andi and he had. It hadn’t been too out of the ordinary. And if he had felt like that, not like Garvin was one to really care anyways.

This basically is the same as the above, only from Andi’s perspective instead. Garvin, compared to other victims, hadn’t been nearly as quick to leave or obviously thinking something was wrong. It had been almost refreshing from his perspective, and it also seemed almost like a challenge.

So… This is the first victim. Her name was Michelle. He’d met her at a party and she was one of the three.

Digital hate

Second victim, his name was Keith. He wasn’t one of the three, so despite being the second victim he isn’t referred to as the second victim. He isn’t referred to as a victim at all, actually. Because no one realizes he was one.

Digital god

Third victim, his name was Samuel and he was also one of the three. He’s referred to as the second victim due to that.

Digital pain

Fourth victim, his name was Eugene and he wasn’t one of the three. So he’s in the same boat as Keith was in.

Digital violence

Fifth victim and his name was Victor. He’d been the closest to escaping, and quite a fighter. He wasn’t one of the three though, so he’s in the same boat as Keith and Eugene.

Digital world

Sixth victim and his name was Nicholas, also wasn’t one of the three, in the same boat as Keith and Eugene. Is one of the reasons that after the third one, Andi made sure not to get anyone who would be looked for.

Seventh victim, and her name was Alice. She was one of the three, so she’s actually referred to as the third victim.

Digital silence

Eighth victim and his name was Marcus. Not one of the three, obviously. He was the one who lasted a year. So before Garvin, he had lasted the longest.

Digital yell

Ninth victim, her name was Rose, compared to the other victims, she was there the shortest amount of time. Not because she escaped, but because she was killed (broke down, screamed and begged) quicker than the others.

Digital heaven

Tenth victim, her name was Ivy. While Marcus had lasted a year, she almost lasted a year too, making her the second longest lasting one before Garvin showed up. The experiences with Ivy and Marcus are why Andi started to keep track and become more obsessive as they last longer.

Digital hell

Eleventh victim, his name was Diego. Andi ended up hating him, and other than Rose, he was there the shortest amount of time.

Digital start

Twelfth victim, his name was Jared. Compared to Diego, Jared was basically like a fresh start for Andi.

Digital end

Thirteenth victim and his name was Adam. Again, Adam almost reached a year but was just a bit short of it.

Digital birth

Fourteenth victim and his name was Isaac. He hadn’t lasted very long either, just a bit longer than Rose or Diego.

Digital death

And then there was Garvin, who was going to be the last victim… Kind of. More so, Garvin had gone almost two years there without breaking (at least without breaking in the way Andi had wanted). But Andi wasn’t one to quit, so until Garvin did break (the way Andi wanted him to) then there wouldn’t be any other victims. This is still true. Andi hasn’t gone after anyone else because he’s still trying to get Garvin back to continue where it’d all left off.

These lines mostly refer/hint at some of Andi’s tactics again. Andi was one to emotionally abuse his victims at the same time as doing everything else, so there’s a lot of hints at his tactics for that.

I love the lyrics, but, also, the whole fucking rebellion better bust down Andi's door to save Rover. :D

Best part of Rover is the fact that Garvin and Rover know each other, are best buds, and would still be able to recognize each other immediately.

Andi had a reward system, which sucks to put down and write but yeah. Breaking meant death, fighting back/making him mad meant torture, but an in between of not fighting back/making him mad and not breaking meant food, free reign of the basement, and Rover coming down to chill with you.

Also if you're wondering why I had you choose people to suffer with Garvin... I may or may not be planning Andi to have that group locked up down in that basement at some point. Which is why I narrowed it down and all. Only people Andi thinks are less likely to actually be reported as missing, and people that Andi thinks he could actually manage keep down there. Of course, just Garvin would've been ideal for Andi but ah well, he'll make do.

So no worries, Rover has a chance to get saved!
