We're about to get moving into the actual consequence of Aries choosing to knock out an opponent...

I feel so incredibly bad for him.

So... 5000 words in and we're finally at the consequences section... I still have so much to do. But to celebrate how much is already done, I'll go ahead and give you some information!

When Aries first came to the arena and the dehumanization began there, he was able to stave off of actually believing anything. Over time, his defenses have begun to crumble and seeds of doubt about him being a person are taking root. Luckily, he's still able to keep away from all of that for a while.

Unfortunately, this story I am writing now, marks when the last of his defenses came down and the first time he truly gets stuck in the idea/mindset of not being a person.

Very interesting and angsty, I love it.

Briar was actually similar, actually, which was kinda hinted at in the last short story of them. They kept up the excuse and memory of Cam, which kept their idea of their own humanity for a little while.

That's nice, Aries was just stubborn and constantly trying to push back against the idea. Trying to prove them wrong.
