...I feel so incredibly bad for what is going to happen. Like, seriously debating if I should even have the aftermath be part of this because like- It's a lot. And I feel bad for him. But also... I want to show off with my ability to do angst. Plus, all the eventual parallels! And I even made this short novel it's own playlist because of how absolutely angsty it is!

1,070 words in and Aries is still having a good day. The fight hasn't even started yet though, so that's probably why. It doesn't take a turn for the worst until after the fight.

We got to get to the end of the fight before the angst truly starts though. I'm making sure that it's as well written as possible. It's a very important part of Aries's life, after all.

Depending on how long this ends up being, I might split it into two short stories. Mostly since I'm already at 1,750 and the fight has only just started and I don't want to break the website if it ends up being over 6,000 words haha
