Prologue Draft - Akachi’s Diary

Entry 2655 - April 10th, 1830

I would like to start this one off a little differently than usual. Too much repetition is bad for the soul, after all, and there’s enough of that in my life already anyways. Along that thought, I’ve noticed that my entries have begun to seem pointless. The same. There isn’t much to write about, every day drags in the same way. Most surprising about today, perhaps, is that we didn’t lose anyone. But that’s all there is to say. Conditions remain harsh, the idiots running us around are still insufferable.

However, I have always said that change must be achieved through your own means. Simply waiting for change will do nothing. I did hear that a family from Myre were visiting though. Which may prove good to my cause. I’ve already gathered all of my writings, I’m just making sure that my entry today gets finished for if I do not have time later.

I’m hoping to hitch a ride to Myre if possible, whether it will work or not… I’m unsure. If I fail, there will always be another chance. (Hopefully. But I do not believe that I will be killed if caught.) All I need to get off the property, if I can do that, Myre is a free country close to Felbard. And Felbard has the people I need, the people that will listen and believe. I’m certain of that, at the least.

If I manage to get anyone else out, then we plan to meet back in my home country. The others here believe in my cause, after all. They follow my words, believe me to be a mouthpiece of One, able to speak wisdom and inspiration. Such devotion is to be rewarded, and I know The True will not allow their suffering to be forever, will not have me fail.

Soon, the world will be divided no longer. Soon, the world will believe in One; in The True. (Even the heathen nations will be freed from their misguided ideals.) After all, the only thing that ‘She’ brings is that of discrimination, hatred, and the corruption of all that is right, that is justice. But that is not what this world needs, and The True agrees. The gender of One is infinitesimal compared to all else that is. The love that One feels is unconditional towards all.

This is all I have the time for at the moment, I’m afraid. I have to move now if I want a chance of this to work.

I refuse to spoil Guardians of the Galaxy for anyone. It is far too good for that. I loved it. Then again, I'm just a huge Guardians fan anyways, so... Yeah. Watch it as soon as possible, it's amazing!
