End date: September 10th and seconds before Midnight Gametime, so 11:59, Please note, this date is a little far away so I have leg room to change it, which could possibly happen depending on the response rate, so please keep up with updates. PLEASE PM me if you need more time, the more people who pm me this the more likely I am to extend the end date.

What is this Contest and How will it work:

So I do this Contest whenever I am gone from WP for many months and then returned, like the last Scavenger Hutn in Octotober 2022. And cause I love throwing apples at people

I did this a few times now and they were always a hit, so I want to redo it but bigger once more. by bigger I mean more rewards, used to be 120 apples total, now its 300 apples, but there will be more questions asked than the usual 10 questions.

Bascially this game will test your knowledge on WP, EVERY Link on this WP is free game for me. What I mean is, every Guide on WP could be used by me for a question, Every forum post could have been used by me etc.

There will be Tiers rising in difficulty, please do not complain about the higher tiers. If you dont know the answer, that is ok, you will not be winning a million dollars (or other IRL currency you use) from this contest

Rules:

- Please be subscribed to this forum (you can do Subscribe to OP so you only get Mail when I post) or at least check-in once in a while in case I change any rules or make updates. If you don't do this, I will not be at fault if you miss important new info. If I have specific info for you, there is a good chance I will just quote your post and ask, I may also pm you but thats not a gaurantee, so check for updates here and there. The new updates will be pinned to the front of the post, so on page 1 or page 2 if I post too much.

- You may not mention anything related to an answer in the forum post, if you do, you will be reported, removed and the question will be removed and replaced

- You may not PM me asking for any hints, if I think a hint is needed, I will add one.

- You may not be in chat and ask for the answers, of course Im not on 24/7 and can't check but if I see you doing that, the question will be removed and replaced and you will be removed from the contest. If a player is not in this contest, but happens to ask a question that is also in this Scavanger Hunt, I of course can't do anything about that. So leave them be.

- Bothering other Players for an answer in pms isn't allowed either, if I am notified of this (with evidence of course) you are out of the Contest

- PLEASE PM me your response ONCE you are DONE. You may NOT go back on your answers because I cannot and will not keep track of any changes. What you PM Me is FINAL. PLEASE INCLUDE the Contest and Tier Number as the subject to the PM, thank you!

- DO NOT ask me in the end how many points you got, or why you didn't win.

- For commonly missed questions I will post the right answer in the end, so dont bug me on this subject

- Please Keep in mind that after a certain length, PMs won't go through (im not sure how long the pms can get). So please do this:

For lets say Tier 1, you will pm me the first 10 questions in 1 PM, with title/subject of Mail being ' Contest/Scavenger Hunt: Tier 1, prt. 1 (this will be first 1-10 questions) and your answers will be NUMBERED. So example, Answer format: Q2. dogs are blue

Then send me the next pm with subject/titel being: Contest/Scavenger Hunt: Tier 1, prt. 2. With the answers format also being numbered + answer

Don't worry about me organizng the pms, I have got a handle on it. And PLEASE add the question and your answer, thanks!

- USE THE FORM given by me below

- There is no set answer format for every question, as long as you give the right answer in your explanation, you can explain it in whatever way you want. And no extra points will be given for bonus answers, unless the Question has the option for a bonus Question

- If you have questions, please post them in the forum, unless your question involves the answer to a Scavenger Question then you may PM me, but you shouldn't be asking me for any hints anyways so be wise what PM you send me.

The Points and Reward system:

Every question is worth 1 point, with the following exceptions:

- If 1 question comes with a bonus question, this means the first question is worth .5 points, and the bonus is worth 1 full point. This way you don't have to answer the bonus question if you don't know it. But you cannot answer the bonus question, without answering the first question (the one worth .5 pts)

Example:

The question: Are dogs awesome? ( this would then be worth .5 points)

Bonus: Why are they awesome? (this would be worth 1 full point)

Answer: Two options, either I don't answer the bonus question, only the main question. Or I answer the bonus question AND main Question, not just the bonus question.

- If 1 question has two parts without me writing 'bonus' or anything else, then all questions have to be answered in order to gain 1 point. If however 1 of the questions are answered incorrectly, you lose .5 points

Example:

The question: Can a dogs fur be blue? Can a cats fur be blue? Why or why not? (answering them all right gets 1 point, but only answering 1 of them right gets you a total of .5 points because .5 was takent off since you didn't answer both questions right)

- Points also do not stack, if you get 2 questions right in Tier 1 and 5 right in Tier 3, then you will not have 7 points total because each Tier gets its own set of rewards.

Prizes:

Please note, a Player may only be able to win two out of the 4 tiers, more explained below.

10 apples ---> Tier 1 (20 apples for first place, 10 apples for second place)

25 apples ---> Tier 2 (40 apples for first, 20 for second)

35 apples ---> Tier 3 (60 for first, 30 for second)

50 apples ---> Tier 4 (80 for first, 40 for second)

300 apples total^^

Exceptions to these Prizes:

If there is a tie where two Players have same points in a tier and both have a chance of being 1st or 2nd place, I will be using a randomized spinning thingie from the internet. Forgot what they are called, but I will show proof of it, if that were the case.

If a Player gets 1st place in 3 Tiers, they will get the rewards from two of the lowest Tiers. So if Player A got Tier 1, 2 and 4 right; they will get the rewards Tier 1 and 2 NOT 4 and 2.

Bonus Reward: Even though players can only win 2/4 tiers, if they get EVERY QUESTION right from EVERY Tier, they will be able to get the first place reward of EVERY TIER. That would be 200 apples; yummy. If a player like this exists in the contest, then other players will only be able to fight for 2nd spot, so try to get them all right for a chance of winning way more apples :OO.

The Tiers:

Notes:

- there are 20 questions to answer per Tier, BUT you don't have to answer them all if you can't, you are able to win by answering less questions and getting them correct, because other players could have answered all and gotten less right than you did. So basically try your best, though I do suggest answering them all even if your unsure

- Some questions may be Premium related, as in premiums have a feature that can help them answer a question. BUT the answers can ALWAYS be found somewhere else on WP, usually in forums. So just keep a looking

- For Tier 4, please be aware that some of these questions are aimed at older players, new players also have a chance to know the answer but they may have to do a bit more research into WP than an older player. This is intentional since its Tier 4, please do not come at me for making this harder for some than others because again, the answer can be found somewhere on WP it just may take more effort from some players than others.

- Some questions may be about me, this means everything including my den is something you should look at to answer a me-related question

Tier 1, about the most basic WP things so reading WP rules and basic guides will be very useful here:

Q1. What type of chatspeak is allowed in chat?

Q2. What does it mean to bump a topic? And are we allowed to do that on WP?

Q3. Scenario: Player Y broke a rule in chat, Player X now told off Player Y in chat. Neither have mod powers. What is this behavior called? And is it allowed?

Q4. How to add gear and decor to a wolf?

Q5. What is the name of my alliance?

Q6. If I really loved the Harry Potter fandom, am I allowed to post Art from that world?

Bonus question: Why or why am I not allowed to post this Fandom art?

Q7. Is using your artist signature an appropriate way to credit your artwork (so you only add your signature as credit)?

Bonus question: Why or why not?

Q8. Scenario: Player A is not sure if you are allowed to ask about pricing in mainchat, they decided to try it out in chat and got in trouble. Please list why they got in trouble and what they should have done instead.

Q9. Player X created an Auction that ended on the 5th of May at 3pm Game Time, but then at 12pm Game Time on 5th of May they changed the date to 10th of May at 3pm game time. Did they do something wrong? If so, please explain why.

Q10. How do you set a pack nickname?

Q11. List all the injuries a wolf can get

Q12. List me 3 aspects/types of trolling according to WP rules

Q13. Player X bid mush on an auction, knowing that while they do not have the mush at hand, They will have it by the end of the week. Did they do something wrong? If so, what?

Q14. What should you do before posting a suggestion?

Q15. At what age do wolves start to have the potential of dying?

bonus question: When does it happen?
Please note: you don't have to know the time just the day

Q16. What is required of a wolf before you can explore? List 2 of them

Q17. Player Y is a member of an alliance and is helping the leader spread the word by posting in sales/main chat about the alliance. Is this allowed?

Q18. Player X is selling a wolf with a given price, Player Y can’t afford the price, and begs Player X to lower the price until they do. Who is in the wrong here and why?

Q19. How do I post in forums?

Q20. How do you open mail and send mail to others?

Tier 2, I suggest reading everything under the Help section , game guides in forum and looking at all the game functions:

Q1. List 2 common Bugs and 2 things people say are bugs when they aren’t

hint: these have officially been stated as common and not-bugs

Q2. How much CP (character points) do basic players get every day?

Bonus question: How many do premium players get everyday?

Q3. What effect does an inbred wolf have in the game? So like, does it do anything to your wolf?

Q4. Do I like big or small dogs? (hint: remember everything on WP goes, this really includes everything including other links in my den)

Q5. Why is my (CriesInTheNight) packs happiness at zero? list at least two reasons

Bonus question: What does it mean to stagger (stager) dominance?

Q6. How do you level up in explore? List all requirements

Q7. What do I need in order to successfully chase away another pack?

Q2. Does the mood of the wolf impact pack happiness?

Q3. How do you check the future weight of pups?

Q4. List all the weight categories; so their names, and the weight range in each category

Q5. List two reasons why Familiars may not want to be friends with your wolves in explore; assuming the player is premium

Q6. List 3 ways you can earn Moonflowers that does not include transferring them/buying from others.

Q7. List every feather that exists on WP and explain what each of them do

Q8. What is the minimum numeric rating a wolf needs in order to be rated an Excellent Howler/Wrestler?

Q9. What is the ideal weight range if you want a wolf to deal more speed, and what's the ideal weight range if you want the wolf to deal more damage (please list the actual weight numbers)

Q10. What character attribute is useful for appeasing spirit ancestors during FMC?

Q12. What does the drink area in swamp do? Same for Jungle, both questions must be answered for 1 point

Q15. How long does Border Patrol Last?

Q16. List all the moods a wolf can have

Bonus question: Gain two extra points by explaining the cause of every mood

Q17. List the step-by-step of how to make a bug report, be descriptive.

Q18. Do I have to kill Elephants in explore?

Q19. Do your pups always get CP after your wolves engage in a successful CP encounter in explore?

Q20. Why would a wolf feel sheepish after explore?

Q1. What is ‘snipe guard’?

Q2. What encounters in explore give pups resolve? List at least 2, regardless of terrain

Q3. What is different about the spending of moon flowers vs other event currencies (hint: think about when you can spend them)?

Q5. A regular wolf reaches maximum damage at what BE level? ( in your answer state the Letter and BE amount)

Q13. Both questions are about the passing of time on WP. Both questions must be answered to get a point.

A) How much time passes from Day to Night (in WP not real life)?
B) When does Rollover occur?

Q14. How do you fix the bug where a player is unable to hit attack/hunt when a prey/predator appears in explore? (answer: restart, not replay the level)

Hint: Has nothing to do with Eve, don’t respond by saying make a bug report. This is something a Player can solve.

Q15. What does GGGD stand for?

Q16. How do I raffle off breedings to my wolf? So what must I do?

Q17. How were robin feathers changed in the 2022 update?

Q18. Whats the difference between breeding Crystalline base pelted wolves and exclusive based wolves?

Q19. Name 4 popular studs from before 2020
