Plot:
Back in the day, during the Reign of Kings, spirit animals were common. Everyone used to have a spirit animal and the bond that came with it. However, once the Council took over, they deemed spirit animals were for the wealthy or the noble. It was very rare for anyone who wasn't part of this upper class to have one. That was until the Reaper came into opposing power. The Reaper wanted all of the power that came with a spirit animal bond for them and them alone. They wanted to control who had it. That brings us to the current day. The technology is closest to the 1950s since people have had to get used to life without a spirit animal bond. (But imagine guns and such don't exist so they use swords and fancy fantasy weaponry because the vibes are vibing) However, the few that still have a bond have found each other and are working to try and survive without being captured. There's supposedly a haven to the south but it's going to be a long trek there. If they survive. ------- This is a spirit animal rp! This means that people can play a spirit animal or a human character! (Or both if you really want lol) Below will be rules, character roster, a sign-up template and the rest of the character sheets. RULES: 1. Semi-lit. So, a good solid paragraph (think 100 ish words), enough to keep the story going and give people stuff to reply to. This MEANS YOU NEED GOOD SPELLING/GRAMMAR. Act like we're cowriting a story. And honestly, we have grammarly, we have google docs, we have basic English class, there's no real excuse for poor spelling y'all.
2. Hate the character not the person. IC drama? Yes. OoC drama? Absolutely not.
3. Be active! If not, just let us know in the discussion! Life happens, we understand.
4. Pg-13 y'all. Keep it within the limits of the WP rules.
5. Don't be OP with abilities. We'll get injured, we'll throw hands, etc. be fun!
6. You may start out with 2 characters! A human and an animal.
7. The pairings will be discussed later once we start to get a few more characters! This means you'll leave your character's "ability" empty for now!
8. If you have questions, DM me so we don't clog up the thread!

Jasper's tired face is usually the first thing someone sees. His exhausted expression just screams RBF--and that's a face he's mastered. His fair skin is peppered with soft brown freckles. True to the stereotype, Jasper's rust-red hair falls neatly over his forehead and sometimes into his jade-green eyes. His build is more lean muscle, with broad shoulders and a good size to him, standing at approximately 6'2" to be exact. His clothing is a lot more neutral than one might think. With a gray button-up shirt tucked neatly into a brown leather belt with a brass belt buckle--that really doesn't have any inscription it's just a plain circle. These wrap around darker khaki trousers and fall neatly over his favorite saddleback shoes. Around his neck he wears a golden ring on a tarnished silver thread-like chain and a watch on his left wrist. Personality:
Jasper's personality is more or less tired. But he does his best to hide how exhausted he actually is with an attempt at a bright smile. It usually fails, ha. He's tired. Jasper will and can fall asleep almost anywhere. He's too tired to really argue unless he's super passionate about that topic. He does have a ginger's temper... when the subject is right. It's not often. But he can be extremely loyal to his companions. Depending on his companion's ages, Jasper often feels responsible for them. It's a problem and definitely doesn't add anything to his lacking energy levels. Ability: *LEAVE THIS EMPTY* Other/Backstory:

Straight Appearance: Dark blue wolf with BRIGHT blue eyes. Standing roughly shoulder height, a good height for riding. A leather saddle seems to apper when this is nessesary. Leather has blue high-lights.
Personality: Gruff, with a mean streak. A pure soul tends to win her trust, or someone bearing treats. She like steak. After "tamed", Nove is loyal and loving. And fiercely protective.

Name Lena Gender Female Sexuality Hetero Asexual Species Eastern Floof Dragon Appearance Lena comes from a subspecies of eastern dragons. Instead of scales her skin is covered with soft fur. This fur is thicker along the back of her head and rump while the rust if a fine soft feeling(like a teddy bear). This coat is a brownish purple while her skin is a cream color. Her markings consist of a cream rump and throat that speckles onto her flanks. She has cream specks next to her eyes and two species defining spots, one on either side of her snout. She has dark purple sock markings and her tail ends in a light purple. Her eyes, almost always shining, are a light brown. Lena, like all eastern floof dragons, can shift to any size but her main size is around 5 feet tall on four paws and 9 feet in length. Her frame is more on the slimmer side. She would be considered a dwarf among her species but that's never stopped her. While Lena can carry a rider, she does not prefer to, she'd rather shrink down to ride upon her partners shoulder. She can carry anything that weighs up to 220 pounds. Lena nearly always appears happy, a gentle smile plastered on her features. 
Personality Lena's temperament is pretty easy to handle. One really has to try to make her angry. Even if her size alone freaks people out at first sight, Lena greets with nothing but hugs and purrs. She tries to see the good in everyone and sometimes that gets her into trouble. (Surely everyone wants to scratch a large friendly dragon! Not always the case.) While her outgoing nature may make it easy for her to get to know others, it does not always make friends. Like all her species, Lena is extremely loyal. She will risk her life for those she holds dear, whether that be family or friends. When angry, Lena will go silent. Even when every instinct says to back down she will stand tall, unwavering. She will only snap when driven over the edge. After all traces of friendly nature is gone, she uses her sharp teeth and deadly talons to do the talking. She carries a cold icy breath that can freeze foes in place, this is a rechargeable ability that can only be used once every half hour. |
