Within a parallel realm to our own, still shrowded in fantastical whimsy and wonder of what we can only dream in fairytale books, lies the land of Louvetkia. Filled to the brim with mystical creatures, powers, and certainly interesting characters, what is mostly well known is the neverending thrill of adventures that seem to seek out those with a thirst for the unknown like a plague. Within this land, a group of 5 in particular will be the focus. A group of 5 friends, maybe close, perhaps newly acquainted, are traveling the lands of Louvetkia looking for their next adventure! From going on quests like slaying dragons, finessing their way into taking down drunk bar patrons, and becoming responsible for investigating a missing goblin king, this newly formed group is ready and eager for it all. Will you join this ragtag group of adventurers as they travel the land? |

- R U L E S - - This is a SEMI - LITERATE ROLEPLAY [400+ words per post] Please make sure this is reflected in your roleplay form. The word expectancy is slightly longer since this is a small group roleplay - - - _ - - - - 1 character max per person, since there are very limited slots - - - _ - - - - Balance out your characters! Nobody should be picture perfect or have zero flaws. Seriously, get as creative as you want as long as you don't go buck wild. While this is a fantasy roleplay I ask you don't do anything too extreme within the world building part of this. Put down your pack name backwards hidden in your form. - So What's up with this Fantasy World? - The current setting is probably a few hundred years into a stable society filled with all kinds of magical and fantastical creatures. From dragonborn, elves, dwarves, Kenku, humans, berserkers, catfolk, centaur, cyclops, and the like! Kingdoms, towns, and villages are scattered across the land with all sorts of customs and societal structures, and while no major wars have broken out yet some kingdoms are a bit at odds with one another or don't quite get along. Magic is a system creatures are both born with and can learn from someone who already knows magic. All crearures are born with magic, even if just a little. However, it's recognizing and utilizing your magic that determines many things. Such as if you need a mentor, or recognize your magic early on, or if you're a late bloomer, or need something to help you channel it better. It's hard to self teach yourself, as it's more of a feeling than a study, however it's not unheard of. It's impossible to say whether being born with magic makes your abilities stronger than someone who has learned, and even to this day new spells and potions are being actively discovered. Weaker magic users need a catalyst (pendant, book, staff, a glove, bandanna, horseshoe, etc) to draw out their magical full potential, while stronger users are usually fine without one. Magic is attuned to a person's mental state (stronger magic = high moral, good health, etc / weaker magic = sick, depressed, low moral, etc), and rhe many forms include casting (elements, teleportation, etc), sigils, potions, incantations, possesion, etc. Many groups travel the lands, however there is undiscovered territories and myths that circulate around the many towns and villages on a daily basis so finding adventure isn't very hard. It's finding what's worth investigating and what's myth or maybe less important that's the hard part. Passive and everyday animals roam the wilds, as does lots of flora and fauna, however dangerous creatures also inhabit this land. The first thing you probably think of are dragons, which yes still do exist, however some less traditional creatures are also present. For example, a ram with golden horns and a black fleece with constellations that shimmer and glow, a gigantic stallion made from white fire, a beast that can never be spotted except from its shadow, and much much more. There is lots to explore within this vast land, and much to still discover |

res adventurer? i'll put my WIP here so i don't spam - WIP Full Name Chikondi Phiri *Nickname(s) None yet - open to recieving them from other characters Age 27 Gender Genderfluid Pronouns She/Her + Any Xenos (you can just refer to her by She/Her since that's her main pair) Sexuality Undecided Human or a Magical Race? Magical Race - Fae Mount / Companion A griffon by the name of Mene. Mene's bird portion resembles an odd mismash of blue heron and harpy eagle, possessing a rather elongated hooked beak of a raptor but the coloration and eyebrows of a heron. Her feline half is a white serval. Mene is Chikondi's mount and friend, very cherished and very much pampered. The griffin itself is mellow-tempered and usually listens to orders well, but can get snappish over meals... and has a bad tendancy to prey on livestock. Mene also works well as a pack animal due to her size, being roughly the size of a clydesdale, but she functions better as a quick getaway vehicle. Appearance Not as tall nor as imposing as she'd like to be, Chikondi is a whopping 5'4. And three quarters, she'll remind you of that. Being so elevationally challenged, Chikondi has taken an affinity to making herself look as flashy and as regal as possible. Her skin is the color of red terracotta, often bandanged from scrapes and wounds she's garnered from her more hasty decisions. Her hair is incredibly thick and voluminous, naturally white with an iridescent glow to it. Strands of periwinkle and pink streak through her mane, along with some threads of hair that seem to reflect so much light that they're rainbow. This is, of course, a result of her being fae. Her irises are multi-colored, fading from sky blue to rosy pink. Oddly, her pupil is white, and usually takes the shape of a 4-pointed star. Chikondi has squarish facial feautures, a button nose she thinks looks too big for her face, and long dense lashes. The eyelashes of her upper lid are black, while the eyelashes of her lower lid are white. She has graceful cupid's bow lips and a mild amount of blemishes under her eyes, nothing that she can't cover before a show. When it comes to her body, Chikondi is very athletic and lean. She's also incredibly flexible and is double-jointed, something she loves to show off at every oppurtunity. Attire Usually is a huge fan of any dark fabric with sparkles. Her day-to-day consists of a blue gothic blouse with a short black blidace skirt and a black tailcoated jacket, both of which are embroidered with jewels and stars. She also has opaque black tights so she feels some reassurance that she won't get ticks crawling up her legs or thorns in her side... even if tights aren't known for their durability or protection at all. A huge fan of chains, she has several dangling from her outfit, from the buttons of her jacket to the belt of her waist. Her footwear is just simple tall boots that she attempted to paint black. It haunts her that she sacrificed the whole outfit working in harmony for the sake of practicality. (I know this clothing isn't Too period accurate but I'm assuming it'll fly just because it's fantasy 🙏) Do they use magic? A wepaon? Neither? Typically, Chikondi will use magic, as that's what fae are known for. She's more prone to huge spectacles rather than clever mind games, however, as she lacks the patiences to play little games to get what she wants. As a last resort she'll use a her morning star, but she's notoriously bad at melee combat so she avoids using it as much as possible. That thing gets more use breaking open coconuts than being used in defense. Way of Combat For starters, Chikondi despises fighting, but lacks the charisma to smoothly de-escalate a situation. She wants to be both provocative and diplomatic at once, which is obviously an impossible feat and she's still struggling to wrap her mind around that fact. Basically wants to feel the smugness of taunting someone, but not deal with the consequences. Her morning star is your average weapon, polished and well-cared for because there's not much else to do with it. She swings it frantically and haphazardly and isn't well versed with it at all, because usually when she's using it, it's because she got snuck up on while trying to cast spells from a ranged distance. Spells... she loves spells. Curses, hexxes, huge rings of blue flames, the like. Not as powerful as she claims to be, but she knows a great amount of illusion spells that, well, give her the illusion of being a grand sorcerer. Fae are expected to be clever and all-powerful, after all.
