Castoros is rumoured to be many things. He is known to be a man that is spontaneous and elusive, doing the most to dodge his family and any responsibilities that he has. Some say that he has a sharp tongue and intelligence to go along with it, others claim that he is the opposite. Few hear rumours that he is cruel and spoiled, whilst others believe that he is generous. Above all, it is rumoured that he is a casanova, running around and stealing hearts for fun, as if a game. Then again, these are all simply advanced speculations.. right?

Castoros exudes regality, being of royal descent. He is an imposing and intimidating individual, standing at a height of 6'1" with an overall broad and muscular physique. Muscle spans throughout his body, making his athletic build known. Not to mention, he carries himself with confidence, his gaze often narrowed as if he is singling individuals out. His long strides suggest a sense of purpose and determination, as if he always has a clear destination in mind and is eager to reach it without delay. His gait is smooth and balanced, similar to that of an alley cat or prowling mountain lion.

His complexion is that of a tanned one, with dark brown hair on top of that. His hair remains tousled, yet somehow effortlessly styled, framing his facial features and adding to his enigmatic charm. It remains lengthy for now, reaching the base of his neck and falling over his eyes. His facial features are defined, with a sharp jawline and nose, which has a small bump on the bridge.

One of Castoros' most captivating traits is his gaze. His eyes, a captivating blend of hazel with golden and green flecks, seem to remain emotionless. They are often fixed on individuals with a focused intensity, almost as if he's peering into their souls, sizing them up with a cool and calculated assessment. This unwavering eye contact is not just a habit but a deliberate tactic, a way for Castoros to observe without having to utter a single word.

Adding to his regal appearance are the two golden earrings adorning his right ear, along with a singular earring on his left, symbolizing his status and adding a touch of luxury to his ensemble. A defining feature that adds to his rugged charm is the scar that runs along his right cheek, a subtle reminder of battles fought and past acts of carelessness. While it may catch the eye of those who linger near him, it only adds to his mystique and allure, enhancing the enigmatic persona that surrounds Castoros wherever he goes.

In terms of his attire, he prefers to keep it simple. While he still dresses like a royal, it is anything but fancy material, much rather keeping his clothing loose and movable rather than tight and styled.

His voice is that of a velvety, deep, and husky one. This baritone voice commands attention when spoken with both its warm and depth, while the gravelly side resembles ruggedness and resilience. It's rather distinct.

Castoros is an overall enigmatic individual that possesses various, complex traits. At first glance, his reserved demeanor regarding himself might give the impression of a distant individual, but behind this exterior is an entirely different person. His observant nature is a key aspect of his personality, often noticing nuances and small things that others might overlook. This keen perception adds to an aura of ominous mystery, as if he's always a step ahead. Not to mention, he doesn't remain secretive about his observations, often staring at others to the point of discomfort. Even then, he won't break eye-contact.

Confidence is woven into the very fabric of Castoros' being. He carries himself with self-assurance, his articulate speech reflecting a sharp intellect. However, this confidence is not without its layers of distrust; he approaches new acquaintances with a welcoming yet wary attitude, always keeping his guard up until trust is earned. While he remains welcoming and outspoken to newcomers, he also remains wary. Assertiveness and boldness are also common traits for Castoros. He is a rather stubborn individual, not one to back down easily, especially when it comes to defending his beliefs or protecting those he cares about. This stubbornness is often accompanied by a sassy wit, a playful yet sharp tongue that adds a touch of humor to his interactions. He is a fairly sassy man, not to mention sarcastic in certain situations.

Despite his strong-willed nature, Castoros is not one to reveal all his cards at once. He is strategic and cunning, possessing an obscurantist quality where he knows more than he lets on. This calculated approach allows him to navigate certain situations with precision and caution, always staying several steps ahead. However, by no means is he spontaneous. Sometimes he can be, but in most cases, he is careful with his moves, ensuring that he and others don't dive headfirst into situations.

Beneath the layers of reserve lies a very loyal and protective individual. Castoros values loyalty above all else, and once someone earns his trust, he becomes a steadfast ally and guardian.

While reserved about himself, the male is surprisingly outspoken in social settings, often trapezing around groups and beginning conversations. Truthfully, there is little that could humiliate the man, and so he doesn't hold back in terms of communication, even going as far as being openly flirtatious with individuals.

The prince also possesses an adventurous spirit, much preferring to gallivant around with his steed, Cadoc, then spend any longer within the castle walls. Truthfully, he is a rather.. pathetic excuse for a prince. He's the humiliation, for there's never not a rumour revolving around him. He couldn't care less about image nor the family name. Castoros doesn't hide his discontent either. He always was a rebellious individual, and while it has died down with age, there are still hints of it lingering.

When it comes to politics and important matters, he doesn't speak in an orderly fashion, nor does he do much for the Kingdom. He is cunning, yes, only does not apply his intelligence where it matters. Rather, it's as if he acts idiotic in crowds out of spite, hoping to tarnish his own reputation so that he may be cast out, and better yet, free.

Handwriting
One wouldn't think it, but Castoros' penmanship is rather neat. It took him a while to obtain suitable writing skills, his penmanship as a child being sloppy and difficult to discern. However, after being forced to practice, it is now legible and rather suitable.

[Strengths]
Strength and Height
Given his tall stature and muscular physique, Castoros is able to use it to his advantage if a physical fight would ever arise.

Combat Skills
Castoros is skilled when it comes to combat, able to use both his height, weight distribution, and speed for offense and defense purposes. He is skilled with not only a blade, but also his fists and body. He has done extensive training to ensure that he is not useless in cases where his blade cannot be wielded.

Blade Skills
Being a Prince, Castoros has been wielding a blade since he could walk. He has gone through training, nearly daily, to ensure that he has become a proper swordsman. After all, what is a man if he cannot fight with a blade. This includes small blades, such as daggers.

Observant and Cautious
Castoros has always been an observant individual, often peering at people in an attempt to pick up any body language. He is also cautious, though often doesn't appear so, much preferring to keep it to himself and not allow others to see his thoughts.

Strategic and Cunning
Surprsingly, Castoros is a strategic and cunning individual, and oddly good at battle plans. He is skilled with ambushes and often plots several different plans at once, simply in case the other doesn't work out.

Possesses Leadership Qualities [At Times]
Despite his questionable.. personality, Castoros possesses leadership skills at certain times. As if something bites him, he speaks out like a proper, well-mannered individual, answers spilling out of his mouth like a waterfall. However, that's mainly when he's passionate about a topic or has to do with battle plans. Truthfully, he'd be a lot smarter if he applied himself more.

Lack of Speed and Endurance
Due to his tall stature, he lacks speed and endurance, often relying on his strength and having to work on his footing more against shorter individuals.

Bold and Assertive
In certain situations, especially those that he is passionate about, he becomes bold and assertive to the point of rudeness. He will speak out of turn and remain stubborn. If told to remain silent, he does the opposite, creating chaos and disruption. Castoros is still learning how to bite his own tongue.

Often Overdoes It
Castoros has always been hardworking, however, only in certain situations. While often dodging responsibilities, there are other hobbies, such as practicing his blade skills, where he overdoes it. If he does not succeed at first, he does not stop until he has mastered the skill, often overdoing it to the point of exhaustion. There are times where he has worked into nightfall. Now, if only he would be as serious about his hobbies and strategies as he would his studies.

Distrustful
While seeming as if he trusts you and wishes to befriend you, be warned. Castoros does not trust others until much later on, though poses as the opposite.

Tall = Easily Spotted
Self-explanatory. His tall height means that he must work harder to be stealthy and remain hidden.

Attitude and Petty
Castoros has an attitude at times, acting bold and outspoken to the point where arguments have begun because of him. He is also petty, often holding a grudge for months, even years.

While not an awful weakness, his habit of sneaking around with others has caused rumours to surface, tainting not only his name, but also the family's.

Baron - Bloodhound
Often trailing after Castoros is a bloodhound called Baron. It is uncommon to see the Prince without his dog, a canine known for his distinctive appearance and tracking skills. Baron has long, droopy ears and soulful eyes, paired with a wrinkled forehead. His fur is your typical brown and black bloodhound coat.

Cadoc - Stallion
A simple steed, Cadoc is a tall, black stallion that Castoros rides whenever he must make a long journey. The blasted horse hardly tolerates him. While he rides him just fine, Cadoc is a horse that has difficulty listening, often doing whatever he pleases, even with Castoros on his back. Not to mention, the thing has a temper, and there have been several times where the Prince has been nipped or thrown off. The only reason he hasn't sold the fool is because, while stubborn, Castoros respects Cadoc's free, untamed spirit. Besides, he has his good days.

Ulfrun - Hawk
Just when you think that two companions is enough, here comes a third. Ulfrun is an Eurasian goshaw, with little beady eyes and sharp talons. Unlike Cadoc, this creature is tamed and rather intelligent, often flying overhead of Castoros outdoors, or perched upon his shoulder or arm. He was originally meant for falconry, though hasn't been used for hunting by Castoros and serves as a companion more than anything else.

Reputation

Omar has a generally positive reputation, mainly being painted as a good worker and highly recommended. He is known for his loyalty and dedication to the work he does, not putting complaint in, and ensuring he is as good as he can be. This is especially important in his work as a royal knight coming from a noble family. He is also portrayed as kind and gentle, mainly by those who he works with at the stables, and is best described as patient and caring when it comes to his care towards animals- especially horses. However there isn't much else to say about Omar. Just that he is either a good worker, good with animals, or just really reserved.

There is some rumor that goes around claiming he is the result of a scandalous affair, however the credibility of the rumor is unknown, and it hasn't spread too much luckily. It's unlikely anyone outside of Sladia has heard such a tale, and not many in Sladia know or care outside of a number of upperclass families with nothing better to do.

Appearance

Omar is just a guy, standing around 6' tall and weighing a decent 140 lbs. His build is, well, muscular in the sense that it's average. You can tell he doesn't make himself work out all the time, not having a glistening 6 pack, bulging muscles, or anything special. Nah. He's just got muscle where it matters, like his arms and chest, and strong enough legs to carry him around a lot. His tumtum is soft, just a little pudgy, though like anyone else's when he stiffens it's like poking a wall. Yep. I'm telling you, nothing special. Continuing, his body is relatively boxy, rectangular in shape. There are some things you can note about Omar that may seem different. For example, there is a faintly noticeable curvature to his spine, and while it isn't visible back there he does have an uneven ribcage. It's slanted, the right side more outward and upward than the left. Even the crease at each side is uneven, the right one more prominent than the left because of this. The culprit ? Scoliosis. It doesn't hinder Omar much besides giving him occasional back pain and a constant need to crack his back. It does however give him shrimp back. Bad posture, sitting and standing, though it's worse when sitting because he's so used to slouching. He can stand up tall and straight, it just isn't entirely comfortable nor is it instinctive.

When it comes to his skin, it's a warm tan in coloration with lighter palms and soles to match. His hair is a rich reddish ginger with darker roots, medium in length and kept short in the front and longer in the back in a mullet-like fashion. Omar likes it that way. His hair is mildly wavy, usually needing to be groomed to look decent. When his hair is messy it tends to stick out more, having less defined waves and looking like he just got out of bed- which oftentimes is the case. Once cleaned and groomed, the waves are more defined and he looks all proper.

Omar has a bit of a long face, rectangular with a mix between a defined and rounded chin and jawline. He has a crooked nose, a healed scar across the bridge where it was broken, that leans more to the right of his face due to the impact. His nose is also hooked, though just looks a bit different since it didn't heal perfectly. Omar has a cleft lip as well, the scar on the left of his face. It gives him a bit of a :3 expression, especially when he smiles. :3. Speaking of smile, he has imperfect teeth. If there's one thing kid Omar did a lot, it was touch the gaps where his baby teeth fell out from. He liked the texture on his tongue. As a result, they grew in wrong and crooked. Not in an extreme way, of course, but he has moderate overlap. His smile is memorable though, specifically the protruding canines of his that are slightly more elevated than his other teeth. It suits him in a way, really. Silly vampire smile. Omar has thick eyebrows, messy and bushy, and has a visible unibrow though it is not very defined. His eyes are a rich dark brown in color, being downturned and droopy, and they often make him look as though he's tired. He is, actually, tired half of the time, but only half I swear. Much like any other 19 year old, Omar has acne. Not much of pimples, he outgrew those after 18 hit, but he still has blackheads. They scatter across his cheeks and nose, more visible on his cheeks and the tip of his nose. He has some on his chest, shoulders, and upper back area as well, though they're not very extreme. He's made it a habit to pick on his acne, it's almost an addiction now, and has scars that remain once he's done. He mainly picks on his back and shoulders, since it's harder to get the ones on his face out and he once irritated his face too much trying to do so. Omar has some smaller scars around his body, usually littered around his fingers and hands, arms, and one on his lower back to the right. Most are nasty paper cuts on his fingers, his hands more so result from cats and the occasional spar. The ones on his arm too come from spars, but also regular scraps he got as a child. The one on his back is 100% result of genuine combat when someone pierced his armor with a well aimed arrow. Ouch.

When it comes to fashion, Omar is subpar. He wears simple clothes, just button up shirts and pants and leather boots. He needn't anything more. His favorite type of clothing are loose ones, such as shirts with puff sleeves and cuffs that are not too tight or loose. This is of course casual wear. In more professional- errr royal- settings he will wear more elegant puff sleeve shirts, neat trousers, polished leather boots, and a vest. If he feels spiffy he might even have a flower or two tucked into the chest-pocket of his vest. Who doesn't like a nice floral addition to their outfit ? He also has his knightly attire with him, chainmail and iron armor he wears with glee whenever he needs to. He likes the way the metal feels. He has a full suit, barely any visible chainmail excluding his groin, inner thigh, and the inner bend of his arm. His helmet is also nicely decorated with ostrich feathers dyed a bright sky blue. He pairs his combatant attire with a belt, alongside an ornate sheath for his longsword.

Personality

If there's one word to describe Omar without needing to know him much is this: reserved. Omar keeps to himself, not much for sharing. His mom used to always say "buy, don't sell" when it came up to any social interaction; what she meant was it's best he let others talk and learn about them on their own volition rather than him telling them everything about himself. Of course she didn't mean it to be too literal to a point he just doesn't share at all but he took it like that and really stuck to it. Though it's likely his autism plays key role in this as well. Even if Omar were not told this, he just isn't a big talker with strangers. He's kind, he's respectful, he pays his dues, but he won't be buddy-buddy with anyone he is unfamiliar with- and that means anyone who isn't his friend. Mind you Omar has no friends, just acquaintances and such. Everyone is always at an arms length. Always. He wasn't always so reserved though, he used to be more open but being a noble and all meant he interacted with all the snobby rich kids. He was the weird kid, specifically an outcast due to autistic traits he has, and that led to his mom's advice of reservation really settling in for him, and it works. He isn't outcast anymore because he masks and just doesn't share anything, though it won't stop people from thinking he's weird.

Despite this reserved nature of his Omar is still able to be perceived as more. He's seen as friendly, especially by those who he works with at the stables. Omar has an affinity for animals, especially equines. He loves horses dearly, them being both a comfort and special interest of his. Matter of fact he even has his own horse, a beautiful marwari gelding he named Helios that he cares to personally. In the stables he is wonderful, tending to the horses' needs and even filling in for any stablehands who can't fulfill all their duties or make it in that day. Generous. He is generous this way. Were you to ask anyone there what they thought of Omar, you'd likely hear nothing but good words. Omar is also work-driven, something his coworkers and employers can easily take note of. This fellow is also very fond of knights, having been a special interest of his since childhood, and does his best in the position he was given. There is, admittedly, a part of Omar that wants to be promoted; a part of him that wants to join the higher circles and ranks, but he knows if he did he wouldn't have time for the horses anymore and that'd be bad, so he stays where he is and hopes it doesn't change. But regardless of that he does an honest man's work. He doesn't cut corners, he does everything as it's asked of him. Though there might be some times where he may take a certain order too literally but it's something his fellow knights are used to at this point.

Were you ever to get Omar to talk, like talk talk, especially alone, he might not be much good for it. He'd keep his replies short, dry, but it isn't out of disinterest or anything mean spirited. He's just cornered and out of his element is all. Omar isn't good at socializing, since he hasn't had the practice needed when he was growing up, and by golly it shows. When he does talk more than just a few words, it's usually awkward. Omar typically sounds flat, like he isn't sure what to convey, and that's because he isn't sure. If given the chance, he'd talk ever so happily and quickly about his interests, but he needs invitation and permission to do so. The last thing anyone needs, in Omar's mind, is him geeking out. Nerd. He much prefers body language over talking anyway, it's easier for him to just use facial expressions, for example, than his words. Omar is actually a very expressive person, he loves making facial expressions and greatly enjoys exaggerating them. He has a wide variety of facially expressed emotions and will always utilize them.

To round back to it, Omar has a preference. He prefers animals over people for the purpose that they're easier to understand and they aren't cruel. He loves them, especially horses. As brought up before he has a lovely marwari gelding he named Helios who he loves dearly. He's closely bonded with him, and loves him like family. He isn't close with his family, so the next best thing is the animal he cares for. Omar is more likely to stand up for his horse than he is for himself- and that sure says something doesn't it. Omar is defensive in general about the treatment of others; he isn't fond of cruelty, especially towards animals. He stands for animal welfare, as well as good treatment towards other people. Bullying, mean mockery, harassment, etc he is against. Omar might not be social but he does have a strong moral compass and is more than willing to voice his beliefs if need be.

Strengths

• Animals; Omar is very good with animals, especially horses. There is nothing he loves more, and he goes through the effort of making sure any anima in his care is comfortable
• Combat; being a knight means Omar is trained in hand to hand and sword wielding combat. While he is not particularly amazing at it, he does well enough to hold his ground or defend someone else
• Honesty; if there's one thing you can always rely on for Omar it's his honesty. He likes being honest, and if there's something that needs to be spoken up about he will be sure to shed light on it. This can lead to good advice since he is not afraid to speak the truth on something

Weaknesses

• Socialization; because of his autism and lack of social skills Omar is bad at socializing. He sucks at social cues, has a tendency to overshare, and is awkward. It feels like he's interacting verbally with humans for the first time ever. He prefers body language over words anyway
• Lying; as much as it seems silly, Omar has trouble telling lies. Specifically white lies. He can keep secrets very well but he can't for the life of him lie about small things and often times it can get him in a bit of trouble. Nothing serious, of course, but
• Blunt; autism be damned this boy can't watch his mouth. Omar lacks understanding of social cues, and that includes having weakened social awareness, so he isn't sure when things should or shouldn't be said. He has a habit of being truthful, which is a virtue, up until he's a little too truthful and it almost always ruins peoples' moods.

Animals: a palomino tobiano Marwari gelding named Helios. Helios is a horse who was a new take-in at the stable, formerly having been neglected and abused by his previous owners. He was in poor condition, and Omar took it upon himself to show kindness to the equine, and over the span of 1 year he grew very close with Helios and the two bonded closely. Omar is incredibly protective of his horse and prefers no one touches him or handles him unless being given specific permission.
