Roleplay Rules: - 1. As always, follow all of Eve's rules. 2. No God Modding. If a character is physically fighting with another character, please give them time to respond. You will not hit successfully every time, and you will not dodge every time. 3. No perfect characters! Your character can't be the strongest, smartest, fastest, or most beautiful. 4. No Mary or Gary Sues, Weeping Willows, Spotlight Susans, etc... 5. Literacy is a must! At least 300 words per post, for every character. Minimal grammar and spelling issues, as well. 6. Remember that I have the right to accept or deny character forms as I see fit. 7. I fully support the LGBTQ+ community, by for the sake of this roleplay, MxF pairings are the only ones allowed, these are wolves. 8. This is not a 1x1 roleplay, so make sure to include everyone, I shouldn't see two people in a back and forth conversation for half of the page. 9. No Supernatural Powers, wolves cannot fling other wolves or take down a moose all by themselves. 10. I would like this to be a somewhat active roleplay, I expect at least two posts from you each week. I understand writers block and please contact me if you are going on some sort of vacation or you won't be on for a few days. If you don't post on the forum for a week, you will be removed from the roleplay. 11. You are allowed up to 4 characters. Only one high role please! If you have read all of these rules, put your favorite color in Other. 12. Keep things PG-13. No extreme gore and keep intimate scenes out of it. 13. Keep in mind the basics of nature, please. Females will not be stronger than males, with a few exceptions. Males will no be more agile than females, with a few exceptions. - - Pack Rules: - 1. Orders from the temporary Alphas must be followed, Second and Third in Commands get orders from the Alphas, meaning orders given by them are to be followed as well. 2. Absolutely No relations with anyone outside the pack. 3. If a Loner is found in the Packs territory, ask them if they are looking to join. If so, bring them to the eyes of the Alphas, who will decide if they may join. If not, you are ordered to chase them off. 4. If you have been placed in charge of a pup or pups for a period if time, understand that you are to give your life be for letting them injure themselves or go missing. 5. Juveniles and Pack Members have minimal authority, they are to follow any orders given by those higher. 6. Pups and Juveniles are to be brought up well and obey adults for their own safety and the safety of others. 7. If a wolf is discovered to have fathered the young of a loner or become pregnant by one, they will be run out of the pack and territory as soon as their pups have been weaned and will be treated as a visitor before then. Their pups are to stay in the pack. 8. Mating pairs must have permission from both Alphas in order to have a litter of pups. Any pups found to exist without permission will result in the exile of their parents upon being weaned. These pups will also stay inside the pack. |

Plot: - In the Malosi Pack, The Alpha Male has just passed away. It is believed that he died of grief due to the recent passing of his mate, a mere week before. He had tried to continue to lead the pack, but the sadness had been to much for him... Their love was true, and the pack honored that by burying them together. However, in the face of such tragedy, nothing but peace lies within the pack. - The Alphas have left behind their only son, and his mate. He was from their only litter, as they weren't the most fertile. They are to take up the roles of both Alphas temporarily until the pack decides otherwise and recruits another they think would fit the role better. The pack was hesitant to agree to these terms but they are loyal to their dying Alphas last words so they are sticking to their promise. - Though some members of the pack have grown tense and disagree with this idea, causing arguments to happen constantly throughout the pack and this causes things to be quite a bit more tense while living in the pack at this time. A few have even left because they don't feel safe in these times, there has also been fights breaking out because of disagreements. The temporary Alphas have been trying to find a way to compromise with the pack, but its been tough. - Will these pack members come to agreement and continue as their previous Alphas would have wished? Or will the pack continue to fall apart and possibly separate? |

Pack Roles: - Alphas: These are the male and female mating pair that have complete control over the pack. Alphas give orders to all and rarely follow those of others, though they must be open for ideas or suggestions. A litter from this pair is rare, as they are usually more focused on leading the pack. Most Alphas only have 2-3 litters throughout their 13 or so years of life. Alphas have even been known to give permission to the other to have a litter with another in the apck, usually a wolf in which they feel a very strong connection with. Maybe the Second or Third, depending on their relationships with eachothers. The Alpha role is only taken by those of their decendants. Betas: This is a make and female, occasionally, but not always, a mating pair. They take orders from the Alphas, and nobody else. They can give orders to everyone but the Alphas in the Alphas absence. This role is not inherited, but is elected when the current Beta passes. Thirds: This is a male and female, occasionally, but not always, a mating pair. They take orders from the Alphas and Betas, and are able to give orders to everyone else. These are usually the wolves who set up patrols such as hunting or territorial patrols. They are in charge if both Alphas and Betas are absent. This role is not inherited, and can be challenged for. Pack Members: They make up most of the pack. These are fully grown males and females, they are hunters and fighters, and also keep the pack populated. There is a pecking order within this group, sometimes determined by age, sometime based on how long ago the wolf has joined the pack or if they were born into the pack. It isn't an official rank, but it is respected by all who wish to stay in tact. Juveniles: As you might assume, these are the packs juveniles. They are 6 months to 1.5 years old. They are not to be mating pairs or have pups of their own. They are to take orders from everyone in the pack except the pups and are trying to learn all they can to be a model pack member when they are fully grown. They are usually trained by other Pack Members, with the exception of sometimes being trained by the Alphas, Seconds or Thirds in charge. They are also there to hang back and help wherever needed. Pups: These are the young if the pack, 5 months or younger. They are still drinking their mothers milk and are in the process of being weaned. They are the future of the pack and are to be protected at all costs, though they are the lowest rank in the pack and are not to boss anyone around. Loners: These are the wolves that have either been born outside of a pack, abandoned, or exiled from a pack for some reason. They are to stay out of the packs territory at all costs, unless of course, they are looking to possibly join. - Setting: All this takes place in the beautiful Yellowstone National Park, a part of it that visitors never visit or really know exist, except for the few lone adventurers. There are open plains, geysers, hot springs, pine trees, mountains, and lakes. As for prey, there are bison, moose, mule deer, rabbits, squirrels, mice, and the most common are the Elk Herds. As for competition and threats, there are quite a few, including; Other Wolf Packs, Lone Wolves, Bears, Hawks, Eagles, Coyotes, Snakes, And Dangerous Hot Springs. - Sizes: Petite: 80-100 pounds; 2'0" - 2'3" feet tall; 3'6" - 4'10" feet long-- Built better for hunting than fighting, these wolves are in charge of catching prey during hunts for the bigger, slower wolves to take the prey animal down. During fights, they have to be cautious of quick, occasional jabs. (5 are allowed) Average: 101-130 pounds; 2'4" - 2'6" feet tall; 4'11" - 5'10" feet long-- Built rather evenly, these wolves manage to hunt and fight equally good. However, they don't stand out in either respect. (Unlimited) Large: 131-175 pounds; 2'7" - 2'11" feet tall; 5'11" - 6'4" feet long-- Built slightly better for fighting than hunting, but these wolves manage both, but are supporting hunters, usually behind the average and petite wolves in case help is needed and keeping hold of the prey. During fights, they are front line. (4 are allowed) Massive: 176-185 pounds; 3" - 3'5" feet tall; 6'5" - 6'9" feet long-- Better built for fighting than hunting, these wolves are front line fighters and given the role of taking down large prey in a hunt after faster wolves have caught it. Reputation: Visani is know, obviously, as being the stand in Alpha Female. Whether pack members agree with the previous Alphas dying wishes or not, she wills tick to their word. Visani has been known to work with herbs when she isn't doing her leadership role along with her mate, so she is pretty much the packs Medic, so she may train the Juveniles that she chooses to train in this skill. She is also known for being pretty much motherly to everyone in the pack, no matter their age. And the female also takes the role of pup watcher whenever nobody is available. - ¤ - Thoughts On The Current Alphas: All Visani wants is the pack to be at peace with eachother, she doesn't really !one if they vote her down and call somebody else up...who is more worthy, she just hopes she will be able to do her role decently as is. - ¤ - Aroma: Chamomile & Newly Fallen Rain Voice: Its quite the angelic one. Almost always used in a soft and gentle tone, though she will not be afraid to let it raise if needed. Usually a very kind voice, it could be described as welcoming as well. Size: Average - 110 Pounds - 2'5" Feet Tall - 5'8" Feet Long - ¤ - Appearance: A handsome young she-wolf with speed rather than strength on her mind. Her torso quite lengthy but supple, and she has considerable flexibility in her movements. Jumping over undergrowth or over trees mid-hunt is relatively easy for her as she has a heightened sense of agility as well as quick reaction times - though it took a whole puphood of crashing into things before she completely figured it out. As a full grown adult, Visani has a tendency to think ahead of her movements; she will not rush thoughtlessly into a chase, but will not hesitate in getting a move on if the prey gets startled and makes a run for it. Her her, the ability of getting a moving is of equal importance of the ability of pausing to judge the situation in a second. Her usual gait is fluid and graceful, with her streamline sprint extending to a quick rhythm charge of pawsteps. Similarly, her walking strides are quick and energetic, with her ability to quickly gain ground without making much noise at all. Her feet are especially fluffy, webbed and well insulated, allowing her to nimbly sneak up on prey or others without making much as a sound. She likes a good swim every once in a while too, and is generally not well muscled - more of a light, lean and long limbed wolf all around. Though she is tough enough to outlast an opponent in a test of stamina, Visani would not be able to win against many other adults in a battle of strength - ending up easily overpowered and knocked over onto the ground. Thankfully this is only if they are able to pin her to the ground in the first place. - This young she-wolf is quite sharp in structure, with her long pointed nose and deep chest. She stands at an average height of roughly 2'5" feet tall at the shoulder, and measuring just over 5'8" feet long. Her size doesn't appear much bigger though, as she only scales in at around 110 pounds or so - mist of her weight distributed into her long legs and shoulders instead of her chest. She really isn't bulky in the slightest, can can appear almost skinny if she doesn't eat well. Her skill for catching rabbits mostly keeps any hunger at bay though, so she doesn't have to use up any valuable pack carcasses. - Her facial features are angular with a slightly grizzled snout in which slopes elegantly down. Visani's eyes are a subtle yellow-brown, with the yellow taking a dominance in the sunlight and turning them into a stained gold wit darker freckling. They are not overly striking, but are more of a warm honeyglow or daisy pollen shade - and easily meet eyes with others without being to piercing of a glare. This young females eyes do not like to give away too much away about their beholder - instead the only expression shown through them is slight concern or intrege, noticeable by her rapid blinking. Her tail carries most of the burden of emotion. It flicks slightly up at the tip, and hangs loosely yet eagerly at her back. Visani will constantly greet others with a friendly wag of her tail, and the tip will rarely lays till even if the rest if her body is stock still. Alongside this, the females slightly parted mouth often rests in a loose grin - not enough to be showing her teeth, but parted enough for which she may need to display them in a heartbeat. For the most part, she has quite a passive body expression - happily lazing about of getting active depending on what her pack needs of her in that moment. - In terms of coloration, Visani's coat is a variety of russet, blsck, browns, crea.s and whites. Starting with the majority of fur - the fur is semi-long with whispy dark russet tufts that messily bunch in certain areas such as the back of her legs. She has longer fur down her neck especially, which is a darker brown. The brown to black gradient stretches all across her back and down her shoulders, ending halfway down them. A similar sooty black gradient follows the upper side of her tail - ending in a darker tuft at the bottom. Is underbelly is a gradient from cream to white, with similar patches of white in her feet and underside of her tail and muzzle.
