Name: Katenka Age: 13 Years Old Gender: Female Rank: Lone Lioness Desired Rank: Death Appearance: Katenka is most definitely not the lioness she once was, age having sunk its claws into her and refusing to let go. Her fur is much duller then it once was, skin and jowls hanging lower then those of a younger female. Her nose is dark with age, and her head is broad and flat, as that happens with age, and her body is nowhere near the peak performance it was years ago, although her muscles have not completely deteriorated. Her teeth are yellow and worn, unable to properly hunt for herself due to them, and she relies on the kindness of others or scavenging to keep herself going. In her prime, Katenka was on the larger side for a lioness, standing at 3'7" at the shoulder, and weighing 360 pounds on a good day. Now, she tends to weigh less and slouch rather than stand at her full height. The first thing that many notice about the female is the large amount of scarring on her body. From her many, many years as a huntress and Queen, Katenka has grown a large array of them all across her figure. Her ears are tattered and worn, her teeth worn down, yellow, or otherwise broken, and her eyes a glossier hazel-green then they were in her younger years. In this RP, Katenka is going to be rather heavily wounded. She has been on her own for about two weeks, so scrapes have healed and most of her medium wounds have scabbed over, but her deeper wounds will take another week or so to fully scab over [so they have begun doing so] and longer to fully heal. Personality: Intelligent || Perceptive || Cold || Opinionated || Near Fearless || Observant || Wise || Grumpy || Rough Outer Shell, Mildly Softer Underneath || Kinda Like a Cactus And Its Flower || Old Lady Katenka is not who she used to be. In her younger years, she was kind, gracious, loving and trusting to any and all that befell her presence. It got her hurt more times then she could count, and so her walls formed with bricks of agony, trusting only those that proved to have the ability to scale them. She remained warm for most of her life, but eventually the warmth dimmed until she could only spare it for her pride, her family, those she loved with all her heart. Now, she is grumpy at best, and violent at worst. Forever opinionated, if she has something to say, she'll rarely hold her tongue. What has she to fear for sharing her opnions? Punishment? Death? It is coming for her anyway, why delay it through cowardice? She has existed too long and seen too much shit to fear the likes of those around her. She has a habit of keeping everyone at arms length emotionally, only allowing those that prove to mean no harm beyond her walls, to allow them to see the mushy, squished heart that hides beneath her thorns. Of those people, Katenka is protective, more than willing to put herself and her life at risk for the sake of theirs. Having spent many years as a huntress and a Queen, Katenka is extremely observant. Where her body has dulled, her mind has sharpened, and things rarely go beyond her notice anymore. Likewise, she is wise, often having advice to give if someone were to ask. Opinions she may share, advice, not so much. One must ask her direct questions to recieve true advice. Crush: Deceased. History: The Ayubu Pride, a pride far from here, once had a Great Queen, an aging female by the name of Katenka. She had ruled for much of her life, taking over as her aunts heir at the age of Four Years Old. It had been a long Nine Years since then, and none saw fit to overthrow her until the end of her reign. A young female sought a challenge, and Katenka knew instantly that her time as Queen had come to an end. Still, the elder fought valiantly, and had support of many of the pride members behind her. Predictably, she lost, and the young female banished the wounded elder from their territory, in case the pride overthrew her and put Katenka back on the throne. She does not blame the young female, but she is now alone and wounded in a world that is far from forgiving, and sincerely believes she will die. Not necessarily from her injuries, they have begun healing, and not from starvation, she has been scavenging. But she sincerely believes some predator will find her as an easy pickings and end her suffering. Other: |

Name: Nala Age: Newborn Gender: Male Rank: Pup Desired Rank: [What rank do they want in the future when they're established?] Lead lion Appearance: The first thing you'll notice about this cub is his unusual white coat. Mostly everywhere on his tiny body is a pale color if you exclude his nose bridge. Kayak's bridge on the nose is a darker white, possibly gray. The tuft on his tail, as you guessed, is also colorless. With his lighter coat, Don't ask for more information, as Kayak is too young to remember. Upon closer inspection, if you were to ignore the scaring. _ Kayak's height is that of a young pup but smaller then anyother pup. His weight is estimated to be 99lbs, but it's steadily increasing the more he ages. He's an average-sized cub, perhaps a bit larger, but nothing too noticeable. His muscles are there, but they're not as visible compared to the adults. It's unclear if he's more skilled in hunting or fighting due to his younger age, yet he's shown signs of being decent at both. He spars with any willing lionesses if they're no other cubs around, helping him train in hunting and fighting. Kayak's body is well-fit compared to the other cubs, broader and leaner-the perfect balance for strength and speed. His limbs are slightly beyond normal, giving him a reach advantage when playing hunting or fighting. _ Kayak is an adorable cub with soft, white fur and unusual light blue eyes. As usual, for lions with recessive white genetics, the young cub's coat is white with little to no other colors detectable. His eyes are not your casual gold. It's a mesmerizing blue that matches the color of the sky. While walking, Kayak's steps are highly expressive, showing off this young male's hyperness and playful nature. Sometimes he trips over his paws due to miscalculations in his steps. The male's tone is soft and cheerful, and when he speaks, it'll lighten your heart filled with sorrow or make a smile appear on your muzzle. He radiates a peculiar amount of happiness that is contagious. Lastly, kayak's scent is that of an African Lily, a sweet fragrance and easy on the nose. Personality: kayak is a very playful cub, always sneaking up on pride members. Even though he can be quite rambunctious at times he is quite delicate due to his small size. And even with his playfulness he loves to help out pride members. he loves to help the hunters hunt, defenders patrol and the cubs search for treasures. Not on purpose but on accident. Kayak is big and Kayak is small. Kayak can also be very silly. Rolling in the dirt, jumping on his mothe's back just to roll off and eating bugs just for fun. For you cub there are a few things.
1. I'm still not accepting an White Lions currently. So he can't be one right now. I'm going to require normal cubs before I allow any mutations to be used for them. Especially since you already have 1 white lion as it is.
2. You say his name is "Nala" but you have Kayak over this form making it seem like it's a Copy/Paste from another Rp. Also the Rank is "Cub" not Pup, as Pups are primarily used for Canines, whereas Cubs are for Felines.
3. A newborn cub wouldn't be 99 lbs.
4. You stopped mid sentence on his Personaliy there at the end.
5. His father would have to be one of the two dominant males, so you'd have to discuss that with them to decide who his father is. |

Roleplay Note:
I will be starting the Rp either the 6th or 7th.
This means all the forms or reservations for any adults lions or lionesses will need to be finished by the time I open the roleplay thread. If they are not, they will not be accepted. I also do not plan on accepting any other adult lions into the Rp after it starts, but I might consider accepting lone lioness or rogue males, but please ask first, do not just assume. |
