Dragon Rider Academy Rp
There are plenty of different things a Powerful Kingdom could be known for. It’s trade, it’s fleet, it’s riches, etc. However, for the Kingdom of Wavaria, they’re known for one thing above all others: Dragons. Specifically their Dragon Knights. There are few ranks of higher prestige than the Dragon Knights, powerful pairings of riders and dragons that protect the kingdom, its people, and the rulers themselves. But, possibly, more importantly, it’s known for its Dragon Riding Academy. Where all the prestigious knights are chosen and trained. Do other kingdoms have Dragons and Academies? Of course, but there is something about Wavaria’s Academy that is just pristine, that makes everyone else envious of it. The school is making history, creating an elite force of Dragon Riders that are feared and respected by all.
And now you have your chance to be a part of that.
It is now the End of Summer and the Trials for the Next Class of First Year Dragon Knights have ended, and you are apart of this class, though the challenges have just begun. Life for you has changed permanently, and likely for the better, though the rough ahead is going to be tough. The first step is choosing a dragon and surviving your first flight with it. After that, you are an official member of the school and you will eat, sleep, and breathe the Wavarian Dragon Knight Academy for the next five years.

The Roleplay Rules
Follow all of Eve's and WP's Rules
1. Be Active and Don't just Ghost the Rp.
2. You MUST Have a First Year Student & Dragon before you can have any other Years. You must finish your First Year first before reserving different Year.
3. You have to Rp your own Dragon and Student, as the Students are the Primary focus for the Rp. The Dragons are important, but the students are the primary focus.
4. Reservations will last 48 Hours. After that if you aren't done, the spot will open for someone else.
5. Semi-Literacy is the Minimum Requirement for the Rp. This needs to be demonstrated in Rp and Sign Ups.
6. Read Everything. That's pretty much a given.
7. The riders are new, they will not be experts at Dragon Riding. Mistakes will be made, and they do not know everything.
8. I reserve the Right to Deny Applications for this Rp. I won't tolerate disrespect or rude behavior if your application gets denied, or your reservation/character get removed due to inactivity. If you do, I won't even give you the option to fix it or return. If you are respectful, I am often willing to work with you.
9. Your Characters Cannot Dodge Every Hit but Make Every Hit when Fighting. If I notice it Happening, I will Choose the Outcome of the Fight Myself, and it Likely Won't be in Your Favor.
10. Try to keep things even with genders, it's much more interesting if things are diverse.
11. LGBTQ+ is welcomed and allowed here.
12. No Perfect Characters, Godmodding, Powerplaying, etc. Do not have your Character be "That Guy". You know the one. We hate that Guy.

The Academy Rules
1. No Romantic Relationships While Enrolled in the School. It is Forbidden.
2. Violence among students is not acceptable, except during training.
3. Curfew is 10 Pm for Sunday - Monday, 12 AM for Friday and Saturday. Opposite Genders are not Allowed in the Dorms After 1 Hour Before Curfew.
4. Dragons: Do Not Eat the Students. Thank you.
5. Failure is not an Option. If you fail training you will be kicked out of the school and your dragon stripped from you.

The Roleplay Information
The Students
The process to become one of these revered knights is not as simple as many would wish. At the end of every summer, all of the 18 year olds who’d like to try out are rounded up and required to partake in various testing to see if they qualify to become candidates. This means it isn’t based on their wealth, their family, or anything else, it’s all based on them and who they are.It’s important to note that all of these candidates volunteered for this process. They were not chosen or drafted, they signed up for it for one reason or another. Now, that reason may have been that they weren’t given a choice by their parents, but more than likely that would have been found out and they would have been denied. Keep in mind this is quite a prestigious school who has long since perfected this process.
The Academy only accepts the best of the best, the smartest, the fittest, those with the most drive. Basically, the ones who will eventually become the people you will trust your life with. Once the candidates are weeded out, they then are greeted with the greatest challenge yet: actually choosing a dragon. This is no easy task, as it doesn’t just involve looking at dragons and picking one, but instead they must prove their worth to the dragon. This involves riding it for the first time, without any tack, knowledge, experience, etc. If they successfully stay on, then the dragon will accept them as their rider. If they fall off, well, then they die, and the dragon is free to be claimed by another.
Those who successfully complete their First Flight then become the next class of the Academy and thus enroll as First Year students. During their first year they will learn all about their dragons, how to care for them, the basics of riding them. It’s truthfully more information than they could have ever dreamed of.
Second Year Students focus on Advanced Riding Techniques, and Aerial Maneuverability. It also begins the foundations in groundwork for Combat.
Third Year Students focus on all forms of Combat. This includes Combat on their Own, Combat on the Ground with their Dragon, and Aerial Combat.
Fourth Year Students continue their training from Third Year, while also applying their training in a real life scenario. This is the first year that the Students get to leave the grounds as Dragon Knight Trainees under the guidance of an experienced team. They do not really get to participate, but they see it, and learn from it.
Fifth Year Students become Apprentices to other Dragon Knights, working beneath them for an entire year so they aren’t just thrown to wolves. Though these won't be around very much, considering they're basically out apprenticing every day.
At the end of their Fifth Year, they graduate to full fledged Knights.

The Dragon & Rider Bond
The Dragon and Rider Bond is not something that is straight forward or easily understood. Even the academy doesn't know everything about it, though they'll teach their students whatever they can. However, I'll tell you a bit about it now.
The bond isn't something that is innate, it isn't an immediate unspoken connection between Dragon and Human. Instead, the human chooses the dragon, and then the dragon tests the human to see if they're worthy. If, during the first flight, the rider stays on the dragon and successfully flies, the dragon will accept the rider and the bond will form between them. It won't be very strong at first, and they'll only be able to sense vague emotions and speak telepathically through it over short distances. As the bond grows in strength between them over time, this distance will grow and the depth of their communication it will increase to the point that they can see through each others eyes when apart if the other allows them to. The bond cannot be used to harm the other, though pain can be detected through the bond to know if the other hurt, though it won't cause them pain themselves.
Now this bond is also breakable through death. If one of them dies, the bond breaks, and while it will cause them physical pain, like an awful sharp pain in their that'll leave a headache for a while, the other will not die. Instead they will go on to find a new partner once they are ready, or they can choose retirement if they'd like.

The Dragons
The Dragons of Wavaria are pretty straight forward. They’re giant beasts of varying appearances and types. All the dragons have wings, though they can be four legs with two wings, or they can be the wyvern types with two hind legs and two front wing limbs. They can be scaled, furred, or simply have thick hide. They’re like your basic dragons, just more individualized.
Types of Dragons
Dragons are classified by what their breath availability is. They do not have any additional abilities other than whatever their breath attack is.
Poison Dragon
They breathe a poisonous gas that is toxic to breathe in. It causes coughing at first, but the more it’s inhaled the more damage it does. It’ll cause sickness, and, if there’s enough, damage to the lungs, and eventually death if it’s inhaled for too long. The latter would need non stop exposure of over an hour to occur.
Acid Dragon
This dragon breathes out liquid acid, which causes mild irritation at first, but can cause varying effects depending on exposure, concentration, etc. It can cause things like blindness, burns, etc. The more people are exposed, the worse the wounds are.
Lightning Dragon
These dragons breathe out lightning, though it acts more similar to a bolt of lightning during a storm than any sort of controlled electricity. This attack is one of the hardest to control or predict, as well as aim. It zig zags through the air until it connects with a solid target. Short blasts tend to be more effective than long range as they can be better aimed. Lightning attacks can cause burns, disorientation, temporary amnesia, and even death. These are one of the few dragons who can charge their ability, meaning they can let out little sparks, or a strong bolt of lightning, though the latter takes time.
Ice Dragon
These dragons have ice breath, and are one of the four dragons who can charge their attack. They can either breathe ice onto things, or they can charge up to be able to breathe breath so cold it freezes the things. The latter has to be used at extremely close range though, whereas the former can be longer distance. They wouldn’t be able to freeze another dragon fully, but they could freeze a wing, or a foot, etc. though this is usually a temporary effect, as dragons can heal after thawing. The other ice form just build on them like snow or ice and can affect movement like flying.
Water Dragon
This dragon has a water breath attack, able to project a stream of water from its jaws. They can direct how big that stream is, but also they can change the temperature of the water in their attack. The hotter or colder the water is, the longer it takes for them to charge it up, as their water is at ambient temperature.
Fire Dragon
This is exactly how you would imagine your regular fire breathing dragon. However, unless they have extra points in attack strength, their flame is always orange-red. With points into it, their breath will change color to show that. One extra is yellow, two is white, three is light blue, four is blue, and five is dark blue. The degree of the burn someone would get from their breath is dependent on the strength of their flame, but also their exposure to it.
Wind Dragon
This is the last type of dragon who can charge up their attacks. They are able to breathe wind from their jaws, and can control just how powerful it is by charging up their attacks. The longer they charge, the stronger the wind blows. From a gentle breeze, to the winds similar to tornado’s.

All dragons have the same base stats, but you have 6 extra points to assign to individualize your dragons stats. You can assign those 6 points to the stats you want to fit the dragon you’re creating. Represent these extra points by putting a “+” next to the stat for each point. So if you’re putting 3 into Strength put three + next to the stat.
Keep in mind, the baseline for the stats increase over time as the dragon ages and trains. So dragons who are further along in their training are going to have higher stats than the dragons who are in their first year. If needed to, I can add a base level number for each year.
The Size Range
Keep in mind this is the maximum for each age group, you can, and will, find dragons of one age that might still be the size of a younger aged dragon because they're just small.
Hatchling: Up to 3ft
Juvenile: Up to 5 ft
Adolescent: Up to 9 ft
Young Adult: Up to 18 ft
Adult: Up to 36 ft
Elder: Up to 52 ft

The Baseline for Stats
The starting baseline is 12, and the baseline increases by 2 each year. However, the bonus points do not, they stay 6 across all years. The 6 is not compounded, so each year only gets the 6 points.

I guess once you've been stabbed many times by angry elderly nobles for sleeping with their hot children, it doesn't phase you anymore. If you're going to threaten her, at least be sure to kill her for real. However, this bubbly mood can switch in an instant. Being around her presence when she's pissed off is unbearable, or worse, avoid her. Better yet, steering clear from her, even without her being angry, is the best thing for your mental well-being. Her violet eyes are forever shining, bubbling with unlimited mischievousness and lustful desires for hot people. Plastered almost every day on her face is her signature smirk that holds many meanings: she wants to murder you, prank you, or bang you. Truly. She's a hard woman to understand, and she loves herself for that. Umbria has an impressive height being 6'2, and yes, she'll use it to frighten you. She stands out from the crowd, and that's your cue to run if you don't want to be her next target. Lastly, her skin tone is pale. It's odd as she's outside 24/7, either trying to seduce someone or rob them for fun. She has the face of a young and lively woman. Her face is free of scars, as she threatened her attackers that if they target her face, she'll bite out their throats. It's unclear if what she said was true, but knowing her, it could be true. Her eyes are clear from dark bags since she gets plenty of sleep. . .with your offspring. On a real note, Umbria doesn't have a scheduled bedtime and sleeps if she doesn't have anything (or someone) to do or is not in the mood to do anything active. The woman's cheeks are somewhat gaunt to show off her rounded cheekbones, and her temples are hardly visible. The shape of Umbria's nose was straight until some jealous lover punched her there ages ago, and she didn't bother to fix it. I mean. . .what's the whole point knowing you're going to get punched in the nose again in the future? She has top-heavy lips, and those lips had probably kissed half of the people in the kingdom. Upon closer inspection, you'll notice a small scar on the corner of her lips from a not-so-pleased father after discovering his daughter in bed with a stranger. Her version of the story, she got it from fighting a wolf. Umbria's eyes are wide almond-shaped, and as mentioned before, the color of her iris' are an unnatural violet. Her eyes radiate so many emotions, although I wouldn't use them to try to read her. Her eyes express one thing, but underneath, it could be something else. She's a confusing opponent when it comes to it all, and she knows it. Umbria's eyebrows are beautifully trimmed, having a curvy arch with the endpoints of the brows shooting downwards in an s-shape. Her face is the shape of a heart, a mixture of diamond and round facial shapes. Her face is free of noticeable scars, yet harbors beauty marks located on her right cheekbones, right lower jawline, left cheek, and left corner of the lips. Hiding under her layers of clothing is a well-trained body, a perfect mixture of muscles and leanness. She's an athletic woman, and it's pretty much needed if you're a promiscuous woman as she is. It's best to learn how to scale down windows from bedrooms and not get caught, then run out the door while trying to put your clothes back on with guards chasing you. Yes, she experienced that the first few times of her wild adventures. At least she can boast about being an adventurer. Mentioned before, but her toned body is decorated with scars by what she calls haters. They hated that she slept with their noble child, so yes, they're haters in her eyes. She has so many that pain doesn't phase her anymore, and Umbria is unaware that she's critically injured until someone points it out. Some scars are minor, while some are gruesome and sickening to the eye. To hide the gruesome ones, she wraps her body in a layer of bandages and takes them off to bathe or for other reasons that can't be explained here. Name: Roision Ceridewen Melusine Age: 15 Rank: First Year Gender: Female Sexuality: Uncertain, But She's Exploring Her Options Possibly Pansexual In The Future Along With Polyamorous Appearance: When looking at this young woman you first notice her average height. This woman stands at around 5'4 in height and she weighs in around 132 lbs. Her body can be described as curvaceous and feminine to one's eyes. She has slightly wider than normal hips - child bearing hips as an older woman would say she has. It is also plausible to say, she has a sizable arse that adds to her feminine wilds and makes it a pain to get into jeans when the time calls for it. She is also mildly busty, being blessed and cursed with a gracious bosom size - it being a blessing because it complements her appearance and makes her even more appealing to the eyes but bothersome considering they can be heavy and can just a pain to deal with. While her body is curvy, she holds some muscle in well-toned and well-kept arms and legs - not being overly bulky but still standing out just to give that intimidating factor that she can and will is capable of knocking you out if you piss her off and that she works out. Her skintone can be described as a beautiful bronze skin color with lovely golden tan undertones. Her skin seems to just illuminate under sunlight, and she credits that due to her good melanin genes. Her skin tans very easily, so in the spring and summer months when the sun is at its highest points she gets a bit darker than her normal color and in the winter months she goes back to her normal skin tone or just a little bit lighter than her usual skin. Her skin is smooth and soft to the touch, with the exception being her hands which can be describe as a bit leathery yet smooth and comforting in a way. She also has been grace with having little to no acne to grace her skin due to it having a good oil balance. Along her skin you can see scattered beauty marks and freckles, the beauty marks mainly trail along her back along with some scattered freckles. She has freckles just about everywhere but the amount depending on the spot varies. This female has a sharp yet soft facial structure, her facial structure being that of a heart. She has what can be describe as a celestial nose with a slightly wider nose bridge — very aristocratic, no? Along her nose bridge and her full and puffy cheeks are freckles which can seem to illuminate under sunlight and moonlight. Her cheeks also puff up when she's annoyed or angry about something and it is quite amusing to see her nose crinkle in disgust as well. Her lips are full and has what can only be describe as a Cupid's Bow on then, her lips are two toned with the upper lip being a darker brown color and the bottoms one being a bright rosy-pinkish color. Her eyes are rather eye catching as well, they are shaped in the form of an upturned almond shape with a slightly wider look - making them appear more expressive. She has a beauty mark in the corner of her right eye and in the corner of the left side of her lips. Her eyes can be described as a stunning jade green color, reminding one of the beauty of green seawater and if she turns in the light just right or she's super excited they can brighten up to a very pretty emerald shade. It's quite easy to say one can get lost in those eyes of hers if they're not careful, they're quiet hypnotic. Her favorite and most unique feature about her hair is the odd yet natural coloration of her hair. Her hair can be described as mushroom brown with its coloration, it getting its name from looking like the cap of naturally brown mushrooms - particularly portobello mushrooms. The darkest parts of her hair are at the top and they are a very dark brown, almost black looking color, but as you go down to the middle of her hair you start to see her hair looking a bit cooler in a way, with normal brown tones intermixed with slightly lighter tans, and then at the tips or ends of her hair it looks almost very light — nearly blonde if you will. It's these colors in combination that gives her the ashy or grayish looking neutral tone to her hair that makes her a mushroom brunette. Her hair is rather long , wild and messy — a bit like her . This beautiful young woman's crown of hair stops at her waist, and it has a very high volume and thickness to it that it crowns her head with beauty and anyone without hair would envy her and those who know how hard it it is to manage such an amount of thick hair wouldn't want to be her.
