Personality
Illaloshal is quiet. That is perhaps the first thing that one will notice about her. She rarely speaks unless spoken to, but is always observing. Her dark eyes have a clear, calculated intelligence to them that speaks volumes about her internal monologue. She is rarely one to give input to a conversation, but always one to observe it. Surprisingly for her introversion, Illa is actually quite commonly seen doing this at parties and other social gatherings and locations.
In fact, she is quite adventurous and enjoys getting out of the house. She loves to travel and has been all over the world in her lifetime, and even when she is in one place for a while, she is always looking for something new to do there. Illaloshal thrives on change, excitement, and adventure, and is someone who is more than happy to pursue these things fully independently.
Intellect is a core value, and she displays it quite beautifully. Top of her classes throughout her school days and always learning even into adulthood, Illaloshal prides herself on being a very well-learned woman. Creativity is very much the same situation, as she follows many artistic pursuits, such as writing and painting.
Illaloshal isn’t exactly sunshine and rainbows, though, as she can be an incredibly difficult person to get along with. She is stubborn, quick to anger, and holds a general disdain for most people. While she finds others interesting to watch, she hates being approached and talked to, and rarely responds positively to it. If someone can get her attention somehow or interest her in the topic of conversation, she can be surprisingly talkative, but the issue is trying to interest her in a conversation.
Should one get to know her, they would find that she is quite sassy and sarcastic, often making quips about her current situations, or teasing the person she is talking to. Sometimes this is gentle and almost affectionate. Others, not so much. She has a tendency to be feisty no matter who she is talking to, and even if she likes someone, she will always point out if they are wrong. She loves a battle of the wits, even if the other party is not willingly participating. She can even get downright mean to someone if they happen to get on her bad side, which isn’t hard considering how prickly she usually is at first. While she would never call herself petty, the term very much applies.
Should someone manage to befriend Illaloshal, however, they would find a very affectionate, warm, if quite socially awkward, young woman. She is incredibly protective of her few friends, and, although she will still taunt and tease them, she will be the first to jump to their defense if anyone else dares. Friends are often treated to gifts, usually in the form of something hand made or gestures, as she believes that such things are far more meaningful than what one can buy.
While she is a good friend, one of Illaloshal’s biggest flaws is her ego. She firmly believes that she is absolutely brilliant, stunningly beautiful, and an incredibly powerful mage, and should these views be threatened, she becomes very irate. Her quick temper can easily override her otherwise rational and intelligent thought and have been known to get her into trouble. Oftentimes, her desire to avenge a slight is what leads her into pettiness.
Appearance
Illaloshal is a beautiful young woman, with an almost doll-like appearance about her. She possesses porcelain pale skin and long dark hair. She has a heart-shaped face, complete with a widow’s peak. Her cheekbones are high-set, her chin slightly pointed, and her jaw is well-defined and somewhat delicate-looking. A small mole dots her right cheekbone, just below her eye. She has a straight, pointed nose and full, soft lips, which fall into a slight natural pout and are a light pink color that contrasts slightly with the pale tone of her skin. Her skin is mostly smooth and soft, save for one thin scar that runs from just below her left eye, past her brow, and nearly to her hairline.
Illaloshal’s eyes are quite pretty, though almost catlike in appearance. They are an angular almond shape, a bit bigger than average, and upturned. Their coloration is a nearly black hue, glittering and shining like onyxes and framed by thick black lashes. Her brows are well-defined, with a natural arch that, paired with the perpetual pout of her lips and the angular shape of her eyes, make it clear why she can be described as having a ‘resting bitch face’.
Framing her lovely face is a waist-length curtain of jet black hair. It is thick, soft, and falls in gentle natural waves, which Illaloshal puts a considerable amount of time into maintaining. She doesn’t style it often, preferring to leave it down, but occasionally will have parts of it braided or wear clips in it.
Her body type is a rather curvaceous pear shape, and she stands at exactly five feet tall. She has generous hips, with a smaller chest, and fairly thick legs to match the proportions of her hips. Very little muscle tone can be seen on her, although she is gaining a small amount due to her current circumstances. Her arms are fairly slender, and her hands are those of a piano player or violinist, delicate, with long fingers and fine nails.
Illa’s more inhuman traits are in her large, deep crimson wings, which are often magically hidden for her own convenience. They look much like a luna moth’s wings, albeit in a color no natural moth’s wings would be, with the markings across the deep crimson being in black. She also has pointed ears which occasionally poke out from her thick hair, and slightly elongated, pointed canines.
