Fang - Known as Fang because most things about her were as sharp as one - her reflexes, wits, skills, aim, and her looks, of course!
Ek / Ec - Only her sister ever called her this. Echo is very fond of this nickname, but hasn’t told anyone about it. Also, she would only want people she’s very very close to call her this, not just regular friends and acquaintances.

Echo is 5'7. She has unnaturally pale skin with the slightest hint of a tan. Her eyes are a piercing icy blue and she has a nose and a lip piercing. On her cheek, reaching from below her eye and down to her chin, is a long scar, paler than her skin color. She got this when she was very young, from a time before she joined the Gang. Her family was awful, always fighting. At one point, when she was five years old, her mother had been drinking and had smashed a bottle against the wall while fighting with her father. Echo, being young, didn't know what was happening and asked what was wrong, but her mother grabbed the broken bottle and hit her over the face with it. Echo's older sister took her upstairs before anything else could happen to her. Her hair was naturally black, but again, before she joined the Gang, had permanently bleached the top part of her hair to disobey her parents. The star band she wears around her throat is the only thing she had from her sister. It had originally been a bandana, but Echo had to use part of it as a bandage for a past wound, so this strip was the only part left, and she keeps it close as a constant reminder about how awful people can be and to not trust easily.
Echo isn't really affected by the heat as much, so she usually wore long sleeved clothing, such as a long-sleeved black shirt under her signature dark blue jacket. Her jacket had many, many pockets, inside and out, and is great at hiding things in them.
Echo has several weapons on her. You never know what'll happen during a scouting mission. A dagger was strapped to her belt, as well as a pistol or two. Another knife in her boot, and another sheathed one hidden in one of her inner pockets of her jacket.
She might not look very strong, but anyone who has gotten into a fight with her would soon realize that even though she is lithe, she’s strong and quick, mentally and physically. And then they’ll be on the ground, knocked out or worse.

Echo is someone who is loyal to a whole group, not to a person. The only person that she currently feels loyalty towards is the Red Hands Gang leader. He was the one who took Echo in after her parents abandoned her, broken and alone. He is the only person Echo feels somewhat comfortable around. Because of her past trauma, she is wary around others. Anyone who wanted to get close to Echo would have to earn her complete trust, so you can say that she hasn't had many friendships or relationships. Even though Echo wanted both, she took others giving up on trying to get close to her as them not being trustworthy. Echo is intelligent and can be trusted to make split second decisions, as well as cunning and can manipulate others easily. Echo is extremely sarcastic and snarky and will deal underhand insults whenever she can. She is also aggressive to a lot of people, especially if you get too close to her. She likes her personal space unless she trusts you.
Strengths-
Weaponry - Echo has a lot of knowledge about weapons, and loves them. She has many as well. Her aim and perseption is incredible.
Reflexes and Resourcefulness - She is extremely agile and can turn on a dime. She's a great climber because of this. She is quick, and is intelligent and can make reasonable, fast decisions. Echo is resourceful, and can find the group almost anything. A new camp? Got it. A place to hide? Yep. New place to hit? Echo’s got you covered.
Manipulation- To survive her parents, she had to be able to manipulate her parents to give her and her sister food and water, and to leave the two of them alone. Echo's sister taught her. When her parents abandoned her, to survive, she sharpened and honed her manipulation skills, and now, Echo could convince you that an apple was an orange and a wolf was about as harmless as a rabbit.
Weaknesses-
Trusting- Echo, no matter how hard she tries to, she cannot seem to trust those around her. Always thinking, what's your motive? It's gotten even worse because no one seems to try and stay around her because of her personality. Again, the only person she trusts is the Gang leader.
Nightmares- Echo has nightmares a lot, as she has trauma from her parents and what they did to her and her older sister. She wakes up a lot during the night, breathing heavily and glancing around, looking for the ghosts of her past.
Insomnia- Because of her nightmares, Echo doesn’t get much sleep anyway, but they make her…afraid of going to sleep. She doesn’t want to relive those memories, so the best thing she can do is not give them a chance to slip into her head.
Self-degradation- Echo was so used to her parents screaming at her about how worthless she was, so all these years, even a decade longer than the last time she’s seen her parents, she tends to silently blame herself for a lot of things.
Self-sacrificing- Even though Echo is only personally loyal to the leader, she trusted him enough to bring in loyal people into the gang, so even if she didn’t like the person, she would willingly die for any of them. She would work until she dropped dead if ordered too. If one of the members of the Gang needed more food, she would toss them hers, claiming she wasn’t hungry and it would be a waste of food for them not to eat it. Sickness? Nothing Echo can’t handle alone. The group needs to have a high stock of medicine, so why waste it on her?
Emotions- For Echo, Emotions have always been a tough thing. She grew up trying to hide those pesky things, and became so good at having a poker face, instead of it being a mask, it was her face. Overtime, she lost understanding of emotion. She’s thought to not really have emotions, because she doesn’t show many, but in truth, she just can’t express them and cannot understand and react to them correctly. Or she just really doesn’t care.
Physical touch - Only people who are very, very close can touch her. No one else.

Weapons - loves her weapons. No touching.
The outdoors - being outdoors is calming to Echo. Also, there is a lot of open space, a lot of escape room if anything goes wrong.
Music - She’s actually pretty good at playing the guitar. Music makes sense. It’s all patterns. You won’t see or hear her singing though. You’d have to be the luckiest person on Earth to hear that!
The stars and the night - Because of Echo’s nightmares, she doesn’t get much sleep. This leads her to be staring up at the night sky a lot. Not to mention that the night is much cooler than the day, but the stars shine brightly above, and Echo loves staring at them, trying to decipher the constellations. When she was younger, she and her sister used to sneak up onto the roof, and Echo’s sister would point out the constellations to her and tell her the stories behind them.
Fire - a bit of a pyro, not going to lie. She’ll be seen staring into the fire at night, mind wandering, watching the flames dance. And if she gets her hands on a gallon of gasoline or kerosene, and you cross the Red Hands, you’re going to meet a hot and crispy end soon.
Fights - Echo enjoys getting into fights. If another member of the group is in a fight, she’ll jump in immediately. She wont start them usually, because she doesn’t want to get scolded by the leader and the second in command about ‘making more problems for the Gang’. She’ll just back up the other Gang member that’s in the fight. She’ll fight with her knives most of the time, but is pretty good at fist fighting too. She lives for fighting.
Dislikes -
Being annoyed - Echo is blunt. She’ll say what’s on her mind, and isn’t afraid to tell you you’re annoying her. That’s your warning. If you keep annoying her, you’ll be over the fire like that *snap*.
Being around too many people at once / Not having a clear escape route. - Being around too many people, Echo feels as if they are trying to corner her. She hates this feeling, and will do anything to avoid it. She just can’t get over her past. She also needs a clear escape route to be calm, as she hates being or feeling cornered and trapped. If she’s surrounded by a lot of people or is inside somewhere there are not clear ways to escape (such as a window that leads directly outside), she’ll become extremely aggressive and irritated, more likely to lash out.
Losing those around her - Echo has clear abandonment issues. Abandoned by her parents when she was eight and taken away from her sister (the only person she cared about at that point), she survived a year on the streets, manipulating people for food, water, and supplies. Then the Red Hands Gang embraced her, and let her into their ranks. They were the ones who took her in, and now she was deathly loyal to the group. Even if she doesn’t like you, and you die, she will still feel the burning need to get revenge for you. If you are close to her, it will be even more devastating to Echo, and in result, she’ll probably go hunting for the group that killed you and eliminate them all, and then proceed to work herself into the ground to distract herself from her grief. Never showing much emotion.

Alcohol - Because of her mother’s alcohol addiction, Echo isn’t the one to pour the drinks. She’s gotten over her dislike of it, so she will drink it, but won't be the first one to do so. She wont pass up a drink handed to her by another member though! She has a pretty high alcohol tolerance, but if you get her drunk enough, you can learn a lot about her. Echo isn’t a happy or a sad drunk. She’s chaotic and fun, and will play around a lot more. She’ll also open up more about her past. Careful if you ask her about it though, if she remembers that you are the one that asked her about her past, she’ll put you six feet under.
