OVERVIEW
❄━━━━━━━━━━━PLOT━━━━━━━━━━━❄ Once upon a time, the snow stopped after winter.
Trees, they say, had green leaves. The sun was bright. Everyone lived in big buildings that were solid and dependable.
But that was in the time of the humans. They were proud, and smart, and took care of us. They created us, and taught the earliest of us to think and speak.
Then, the war came.
Those great minds turned against eachother, and they destroyed themselves, most of us, and almost everything else. When it was all over, the world was changed forever.
At the time, we - or, our ancestors, I should say, since it's been seventy years - didn't know that would affect the Eden Sattelite. The Eden Sattelite regulated the entire climate of Earth - keeping the global temperature balanced, preventing large-scale disasters - but when no one was left to maintain it, the Eden Sattelite began dropping the temperature dramatically, and it doesn't seem like it's stopping anytime soon.
You are the brightest minds we have. It's up to you to find the last starship, get it started, and fly it up to turn the sattelite off. Here - this is the best map we have.

❄━━━━━━━━━━━SETTING━━━━━━━━━━━❄  (Image made by Talen using Wonderdraft)Both the time that has elapsed and the cataclysm of the humans' downfall have changed the world dramatically from what it had looked like in the past. The greenish water holds a universally greasy taste, and in certain lights it seems to shine. Groundcover is either grey snow, brittle grass, or most commonly the refuse of technological society. Going out without shoes is ill-advised, as shards of broken glass can be found almost everywhere. Smoky clouds hang in the sky, often obscuring the sun and moon. The Expedition Camp is where the three houses are located on the map. This is a small forest growing in what was once a building complex. Most of the complex has been drowned by the nearby lake. Most of the area past the Expedition Camp is unknown, but rumours abound regarding the Deathdunes to the east (red zone on the map). Everyone who has gone to explore them has never returned. |

RP Rules
❄━━ Follow ALL WP rules. This includes keeping everything PG-13.
❄━━ Romance can be present, but keep in mind that these characters are on a mission. MxF only.
❄━━ Don't kill another person's character without permission. Another roleplayer cannot kill yours without permission, but I, as the Game Master, might. I have rules for myself for this and tables for how this might occur. Please don't flame if this happens; characters are far less likely to die here than in my non-limited RPs.
❄━━ No Mary/Gary Sues. I reserve the right to ask you to fix your form, or deny it entirely.
❄━━ Characters inactive for over a week with no explanation will be killed.
❄━━ I understand that anthros are not real, but please keep to the species listed in Post Six. Names are up to you.
❄━━ The current amount of characters each person can have is two. Subject to change.
❄━━ Minimum post size is five sentences with five words or more. No maximum post size, add as much description as you'd like. Do not consistently post at the minimum.
❄━━ Spelling/grammar mistakes must be kept to a minimum.
❄━━ If there are fights between two PCs, you will not be able to dodge every hit, or score every hit. Naturally, guards will have an advantage against technicians. Fights with non-PCs may vary, but I will try to give you hints about what not to do.

It is you on whom all of our hopes rely, as you're the only ones who know how to get the spaceship working and turn off the Eden Sattelite.

Abilities Canids are not the fastest runners, but they have the most endurance by far. Their voices are loud, and can be heard over long distances, which can be good and bad. Height
Ranges from about 3ft tall (foxes) to about 5 feet tall (wolves and dogs) Colours
Grey, tan, gold, red, brown, silver, white, black. Patterns include spots, lupine markings, vulpine markings, and patches.

Rat (both species), mouse, squirrel, rabbit (before you ask, I know they're not rodents)
Abilities Rodents can eat almost anything and not get sick. Additionally, their strong incisors can cut through most natural objects. Height

Brown, grey, white, black. Patterns are patches.

Lion, tiger, leopard, jaguar, snow leopard, clouded leopard
Abilities Pantherans are the physically strongest species. They are capable of seeing in low-light conditions. Height
Pantherans are about 5-6 feet tall, except for clouded leopards, which are 4-5 feet tall.
Colours
Tan, red, black, white. Patterns include stripes and spots.
❄━━━━━━━━━━━Chimeras━━━━━━━━━━━❄ Species
Chimeras were engineered from the ground up, unlike the other species. Their tails are thin and furry, but their feet end in single-toed hooves. Their ears are proportionally large, and are pointed. A mane is usually present along the top of the head and down between the shoulder blades, and is usually a different colour than the base coat. Fangs are present in the broad muzzle, with males having larger fangs than females.
Abilities Chimeras have the best hearing of any species, and are the most temperature-resistant. Height
Chimeras are about 4 ft tall.
Colours
Blue-grey, black, white, grey, brown, dark-purple, green. Patterns are normally stripes.

Deer, equines, sheep, antelopes, cows/oxen.
Abilities Dactyls are the fastest runners of any species. They also may be able to use their horns/antlers as weapons. Height
Ranges from 3 ft (ponies) to 6 ft (cows/oxen)
Colours
Black, white, brown, tan, red. Patterns include stripes and patches.

Dangers
❄━━━━━━━━━━━Mostly Harmless━━━━━━━━━━━❄ NightmaresDespite their name, Nightmares are completely harmless, as they have been genetically programmed to view anthropomorphic species as friends. These modified horses are hairless except for their tails. The rest of their bodies are covered in bony plates, including a built-in seat on the back. They come in various sizes, and each member of the expedition has one, taken care of by the Herder.
Warning Signs: Four slow hoofbeats.
RatroachesInsects about the size of a hand. They do not usually attack anthros, but will if a nest is disturbed.
Warning Signs: Hissing of air, like a valve under pressure.
ᵔ━━━━━━━━━━━ Moderate Dangers━━━━━━━━━━━ᵔ DronedogsThese are mechanical drones made to guard property. Though their weaponry is mostly broken or rendered nonfunctional by time, the method to reprogram them has long since been lost and they react aggressively to intruders.
Warning Signs: Alarms.
Wasterunners
Wasterunners are nocturnal predators that hunt in packs. They are nearly blind, and incredibly photophobic. These hairless creatures hunt by smell, and will chase prey relentlessly.
Warning Signs: A pack of moving silhouettes.
Truthspiders
Small black spiders that nest in the ruins of buildings. Their bite causes nausea, disorientation, and an inability to lie. The usual duration is 24 hours.
Warning Signs: Cobwebs.
Bloodbugs
These small insects are drawn to fluid, most commonly blood. They often bite to enlarge a wound, and occasionally carry disease.
Warning Signs: Whirring of wings. ﹗━━━━━━━━━━━Major Threats━━━━━━━━━━━﹗ Leapers
Leapers are a large species of bat that has traded the ability to fly for increased size and strength. They often nest in high places, from which they leap down on unsuspecting prey.
Warning Signs: Gleaming fangs above you.
Protos
Protos were the humans' first attempt at creating intelligent life before the anthros were created. Protos are covered in tough scales and seem almost zombie-like, using their long claws to rip apart enemies.
Warning Signs: Footsteps.
Dread Sickness
No one really knows what Dread Sickness is, but rumours say it falls on those who explore certain areas. None who catch it survive.
Warning Signs: Nausea, headache, tender skin.
Guardians
Guardians are highly territorial animals whose skins are covered in tough spines. They are herbivores, but will relentlessly chase anything that moves out of their territories. They tend to charge at enemies.
Warning Signs: Growls, pawing at the ground.

Breeze's parents, Fox and Shoreline, were the best hunters in their village, responsible for keeping everyone fed, though Shoreline passed away bringing him into the world. The young Breeze always looked up to and admired his parents, but couldn't handle shooting the animals, finding himself instead drawn towards the upkeep of his parents' Nightmares. Breeze's parents were disappointed - as their only child could not continue their legacy - but recognised his unique skills and allowed him to grow and develop them until he reached the point of expertise he currently possesses. Deep down, though, he feels guilty that he couldn't live up to the expectations of his parents.Abilities Breeze's voice is very low and loud, even for a canid. Personality Breeze's small-town background has led to him having a very naiive view of the postapocalyptic world. While his own local environment is a hellscape of glass and shattered metal, there's no reason for him to believe - or, rather, he simply refuses to do so - that the rest of the world is as damaged as his home village. Consequently, the severity of the situation hasn't really hit home for Breeze yet, and he is eager to socialise with the other members of the expedition. Breeze is always eager - perhaps too eager - to share his experience in his field with others, and he will step in and give pointers if he thinks it's necessary. That being said, he didn't survive this long for nothing; being raised by a professional hunter means he's not defenseless if attacked, and his good nature only lasts as long as whoever he's talking to. If Breeze feels as though he's being disrespected, he will lash out.Appearance Based on this wolf.
Breeze, like his father, has melanism; his fur is jet-black, seeming to shine in the light. Breeze's fur is short, and in cold weather he often covers his arms and legs earlier than most other anthros. Being a wolf, however, his tail is fluffy, and, being a male, so is the fur along his neck, cranium, and upper chest. The fur along his head and neck curls slightly, and tends to be messy. Emerald eyes peer out from a relatively narrow face. From the tip of his ears to the bottom of his paws, he's 5'10, tall for a wolf. Breeze is lean, without much superflous fat, though his arms and legs are usually covered by clothing.
Breeze's clothes are usually lighter colours, contrasting with his dark fur. Except during the very hottest days of summer, Breeze wears khaki pants and a flannel of various colours. Breeze's backpack is light green. Libby had a happy life with her owner and family. Her mom was a medic and her owner even said that her mom was the best medic in the world. She also has a little brother who she loves dearly. Plus she has a dad who died due to sickness. Her mom was out when he got sick and by the time her mom got back her dad was too far gone. This broke little libby's heart since at the time she was only about 6 years old, but it also detrmined her. She decided to learn the art of medicine so if her mom was away she could help others in need. Today libby a pretty good medic (thanks to her training from the best medic and her young start) Abilities

Libby is loving and kind. She is a bit of a nerd when it comes to things she loves but she is sweet. She loves to help and will never say no to helping though this often leads to her not taking care of herself/overworking/getting in dangerous situations. She is smart and she loves to read. Despite libby's helping/nurtering nature she is quite shy and usally wont go up to others unless she thinks they need help. She is very friendly though and wont ever say no to a friendship. Libby is a snow leopard meaning she is white with black spots. She is unique snow leopard though, instead of spaced out spots which are bigger her spots and smaller and very close together. Plus she has ALOT more spots than a normal snow leopard. She has green eyes and grey hair. Her ears are black and she has a black tip tail and 2 stripes above the black tip.
