Soo...I noticed there havn't been much horse related
RPs lately so I thought I'd make one. Or bring it back to life.
I did this one a while ago but whatever.
NOTE: Jumping Wolves is co-hosting this RP with me. We both have come up with the plot, NPCs, and other aspects of this RP. Please listen to whatever they say. They have the right to except and/or deny your application to this RP .
Welcome to Wolf Bend Riding Academy.
In the heart of Virginia USA lies Wolf Bend Riding Academy. It is a place where riders (accepted students, ages 18-21) come to during the Autumn, Winter, and Spring months to train and bond with their horse. You will learn the techniques of jumping, cross country, and dressage as well as instruction from well-known names in the riding community. The teachers, trainers, and instructors are all here to help you succeed at your passion. Your position here at the academy should be taken VERY seriously. Your competitive and diligent spirit are needed for your growth here at the Academy. Focus and determination are key factors that will guarantee your success.
If you fail to follow to the rules or improve in your riding, you will be dismissed. Other dismissive actions are to be referenced in the student handbook.
Letter of Acceptance
Dear____________, Congratulations! Wolf Bend Academy is honored to accept your talent, skills, and prestige. We have looked over very carefully your application for a student position at the Academy. We at the Academy are honored that you have chosen to apply to improve and offer your abilities to further the legacy of Wolf Bend. We look forward to meeting and working with you.
Please be on the lookout for an email from the Academy's admissions office within a day or so of receiving this letter.
Your Initial Thoughts:
Finally, after all this time! You're hard work paid off. Long days training and money well spent has put you in the place you are today. Wolf Bend Academy had been your dream school and it's an in to top names in the riding community. You are confident to make it to the top! However, you met an alumni from the academy right after receiving your acceptance letter. They stayed for the four of the five years at the academy. You found it odd. After all, most students are anticipated to stay longer to make it a full career as a professional rider.
You don't worry, but they warn you to keep your head down and to focus on yourself and your training. "Best not to make friends", they say. That is one student's experience that you heard, It will not be yours though and you don't think twice about it. This is the opportunity of a lifetime and you are not passing it up.
When you arrive at Wolf Bend Academy, all is well. You breath in the fresh open air and take in the warm summer sun. The alumni's words float in the back of your head as you begin you journey, but you soon put it aside as the excitement of the new place begins to take over.

Lay of the Land
Dorms - Each student has at least one roommate of the same gender. The dorm rooms are in set up in one big two story house near the main office, The Wolf Estate Building - Each room has two twin size beds, two desks, two chests of drawers, and one nightstand in between the beds. - Students have the freedom to decorate according to Academy standards. - Men's are in Heritage Dorms (to the right) - Women's are in Legacy Dorms (to the left) - The House has a common area with games and couches.
The Wolf Estate Building - This is where you will find the office to check in and find information about the Academy. - Head of school's office is located here as well. - The lounge is also here along with an all-day cafe. Closes at 8:00 every night.

Trails - there are a number of trails that wind throughout the forest surrounding Wolf Bend - All are clearly marked - No one is allowed on the trails at night due to obvious reasons.
Student Handbook
This will be something new I would like to try. When your character is looking up something in the handbook, you as the WP player will ask in the discussion thread and we can agree on the right rules. Preferably do this before you post about them referencing the handbook. The handbook will play an important role in the story as you will see later on. I'm doing this because I cannot make one up that covers everything. I will add rules we come up with to the discussion thread that will be pinned. : )
Many of the academy's rules will be vague, useless, and hard to follow at times. They are not meant to make sense which adds to the intrigue and mystery. The academy's rules parallel to our inability to make solid rules that are constant due to the nature of this being a multiplayer forum RP :D .
This is not meant to degrade anyone's ability to actually make good rules, it is just an easier way to include players and a lazy way for me to make academy rules up.

Rules for this RP
- Follow Eve's rules...(she deserves the respect) - 3 strikes and you are out of the RP. - No god-moding (Jumping Wolves and I do that) - Please use proper spelling/grammar - This is simi-lit, so please type more than five sentences when you post. It doesn't need to be a crazy three paragraphs. (I do understand writer's block, so don't stress when it comes to that) - While I do want this to be a simi-lit RP, please be open to others who are new to RPs and such. Not everyone is going to be at the same level (or whatever it's called) of writing creativity as you might be. Just go with the flow. If you feel like it won't work, PM me to drop from the RP. - No mary sues or gary sues. - No "perfect at everything" characters. Riding a horse is not something you always do perfectly. - Type a kind of fruit in the "other" section of the sign up form so I know you read the rules - I and Jumping Wolves have the right to decline your sign up if I do not feel like you have the literacy for this RP. - Romance is allowed. I mean duh! Drama is why you are here. - If you use any kind of stock images, please credit them. - No romance between your own characters cause that's boring. Also no romance between NPCs unless Jumping Wolves or I make them an open character for someone else, that's not you, to play as. - PLEASE keep discussions in the discussion thread

Appearance
Lukas is decently tall at 5'8. He has a well-built figure from riding and working out. His skin is on the fairer side, but not excessively pale. His eyes are a gray with hints of blue and his wavy hair is a mix between brown and blond. There's nothing to special about his appearance. He is very approachable and his persona isn't offsetting or anything.
Personality
Lukas tends to be very quiet and reserved. He has a thick German accent from growing up in Germany. His family immigrated to the US over a year ago. Since then he has been trying to pursue his love for riding in any way he can. Lukas tends to sound harsh at times and he isn't usually very calm. His personality contradicts itself at times. He will be very open to other's opinions and will do his best to respect those who respect him. He appears to follow rules set in place and does things with as efficiency. He is very observant and confident in most atmospheres. He is honest and takes responsibility for his actions or mistakes. Staying focused on his riding and striving to do the best is important to him. Lukas isn't very compatible with others however. He doesn't work well in teams or with other riders because of his tendency to want the spotlight. He prefers for it to just be him and Night. The longer someone is around Lukas, they will notice his gravitation towards taking risks. To those in authority, he appears to be a rule follower. However, to his fellow peers, he'll bend the rules to benefit himself and to have a good time.
Riding Discipline: Jumping
Riding Level or Experience: Advanced, he has been riding for most of his life. Likes: Trail rides, snow, cold whether, learning new riding tricks, dogs, chocolate Dislikes: Self absorbed riders, dressage, western saddles. One major strength: Lukas is an excellent rider. He strives well in jumping/ One major weakness: He doesn't work well with others and he is terrible at cross country despite his jumping background.

He has a really long mane, and tail that Jess braids a ton. In his chestnut mane and tail there is a lot of white mixed in Short Personality: Eagle is what you would call the perfect horse. He isn't spooky, you can ride him bareback with no problems, and he's sweet, no buck, or rear in him. He can get lazy, and likes to refused jumps in practice |
