Yekaterina "Why are you so damn loud? It's annoying." [ Name Meaning ] If this name rings a bell, that’s because Yekaterina, pronounced eh-kat-er-eena, is the Russian version of Catherine (and also the name of one of Russia’s most revered rulers). Personality: This female is more quiet and may appear less approachable towards those she doesn't know. She doesn't find small talk or talking about the weather enjoyable (unless you're mentioning storms that is.) Overly bubbly and 'quirky' people get on her nerves and she doesn't enjoy them in her vicinaty. Some may mistake her for a mute as she may not talk or even acknowledge your existance unless you're close to her or she finds you interesting. She prefers to be on the sidelines with someone she knows, however extroverts may have somehow adopted this frosty female into their friendship group and now she's their problem (in a good way.) This female isn't a chatterbox. She knows how to hold her tongue, but this doesn't mean she's a pushover as she knows how to use it to her advantage as well. She's one to be described as a keen observer, one who watches from the side-lines. She takes everything in from body language, tone of voice, and facial expressions. She can sit and watch others for hours and it wouldn't bore her, instead it give her insight on the functionality and dynamics within the group. It can be deemed as a little creepy if someone doesn't like their soul being bore into by her. She notices the small things about a person like their favorite food, color, activity and etc. While she may seem unimpressed or uninterested at times, she's actually watching and making mental notes about you. It helps her decide who she's interested in approaching or people she'll avoid. She's very emotionally intelligent and can almost always notice the slightest change in mood. She knows how to tone it down if she's being too harsh and she knows even how to become gentle and soft with someone. It just depends on them and the relationship they have with her. This female can be very critical and over analyze things. She isn't one to outwardly state her judgement about you or someone, but if you asked then she wouldn't mind telling you her opinion. She can be very blunt and direct in her opinions and words, and even if it may be the wrong opinion she'll stand by it or even one that could get in trouble. One would have to verbally explain in a logical maner why her reasoning is wrong. Even then she'll give you a good debate on why she's right and you're wrong, however, when she is proved wrong she is humble enough to realize her error in the matter. She can be attributed to a perfectionist in a way, but not an extreme one. Her criticism can be harsh and cruel at times, but there are times she's rarely wrong about a manner even if she says it in the wrong way, and because of this critical eye she can notice flaws and errors within plans and help fix or correct them. This female is protective as fuck about her family and friends like most people. She is one to give off big sister vibes withing her friend group, or even the "mom" friend. While the others may see her as a cold and judgemental bitch, her friends and relatives see a different side to her. She's less harsh with her friends, granted she'll tease them at times to the point of annoyance but it's all in good fun and she knows when to stop or they aren't in the mood with it. She's also more open and expresses her emotions better around them. Her friends her like her chosen family, but her blood family holds a special place within her heart. Now she may call them imbeciles, idiots, or even tell them she hates them (all jokingly of course.) However, if someone else did this then it'd be a whole different senerio. They are her idiots. Only she can shit-talk them to their faces or tease them harshly because she knows and understandsthem. She won't tolerate anyone making them uncomfortable even if it's one of her other friends. Now, if another friend is teasing them then she'll be more gentle in her dissapproval of them making the other person uncomfortable, but if it's someone she doesn't know nor like then it's all bets off. She is the protective friend whether she be younger or older than them, and for that matter she doesn't give two shits about your rank, she will speak her mind about you treating them poorly. This female always seems to be guarded. Her face always hold an impassive or annoyed expression. She's one who has mastered the art of concealing her true emotions. Only those extremely close to her can read her. Maybe from more sarcastic and rude comments than usual, a more clipped or monotone voice, maybe even the look in her eye even if her face remains stoic. She rarely gets mad or cries, even if she does either thing she'd never publicly do it as she views it as showing weakness. However, when she does get mad it's either two ways : her more icy and unimpressed anger or a fiery and wild anger. It's easy to tell the differance between the two. When it comes to being under pressure, she may be panicking inwardly but she'd never show it unless it's something really stressful. If she dislikes something, a subtle sign might be a lift of her brow or a slight twitch or crinkling of her nose. One thing about her is, she doesn't give her alliegance freely, one must have her respect for them to to truly earn her loyalty. Role: Lead dog
Appearance: Thanks to the Tamaskan in her blood, she looks incredibly like a small wolf, and is oft mistaken as one. She is not a large nor heavy dog, taking after her Seppala mother, standing at 22 inches at the shoulder and weighing 45 pounds; but she gets the job done. In more than height and weight, she has the particular lithness that the breed characteristically has. Her bloodline has been a point of confusion in the past, as both mother and father come from more obscure breeds; and that she looks like a wolf, but is not one from size and the fact that she is a sled dog, but looks so much like one. The only part of her appearance that gives away her dog heritage, are her ice blue eyes. She is strong for her appearance, not as much as the huskies and other mixed-breed dogs, but still impressively so with a small build that is made for running.
Suka's coat does not look like a Seppala dog, but instead has the colors of her sire's breed. With a main coat of silvery fur, gunmetal gray on her back and upper part of her face, and a little bit of copper, she does look like a lighter colored wolf. The darker grey starts behind her shoulders, and covers her back, near her hindquarters, the grey is shot through with sparse silver hairs; while her tail does not have as much grey, shading back into the light silver shade, and the tip of her tail is colored gray. Light copper colors the back of her triangle-shaped ears, and the bridge of her muzzle, a splash of color on the otherwise gray animal. Suka has a wolf-like mask on her face, gunmetal grey coating her forehead and ending on either side of her face at her light eyes, a lighter gray, almost white, framing the underside of her muzzle and head, licking up at the copper on her muzzle. Suka moves with an easy grace outside of the harness, and even then, inside the harness she has remnants of that same grace. The grace of a predator, a brand of movement that at times, almost seems to border feline like, rather than the usual heavy movements of a canine. Her fur does not make her look larger, it is not fluffy, but more closer to her body, sufficiently protecting her from the harshest biting winds. Muscular for a female dog, she has the strength to back up any threats she makes. But still, she is build more for speed and agility than anything.  (Credits to HOTNStock on Deviantart.)Personality: Suka is resolute and decisive, able to make a sensible decision, and stick to it. When she makes up her mind, she will be determined to carry it out. This trait is a strength, but it can also be a weakness, as she can be a bit... stubborn about something; usually she will agree with her fellow lead dog, united front and all that, don't contradict your lead partner in front of the others and all that. And she has been proven to make quick and sensible decisions based on the situation her team is in. She is cautious, but not a coward; being wary means your brain, eyes, and ears, and sense are working properly, there can never be bravery without fear, it will always be present and how it is dealt with depends on the individual. And she listens to her instincts, the fear, and lets herself be cautious, never letting it take control. She is possibly not the most vocal dog in the team, preferring to pitch in her voice when needed to; of course she gives orders to her team and talks to her partner as necessary, but usually she is not one for unnecessary talking. At certain times, she can be more chatty with others, happy to talk about who knows what. This dog can be friendly, but prefers to come off as cold or reserved when first meeting anyone, usually others of her team fill in whoever they're meeting about her. Suka is independent, more so than some others, she just likes to do her thing. Sure, she listens to what the humans tell her to do, but it isn't her most favorite thing to do. More of a strong-willed dog would be another word for it. She is a fighter, enjoying a good tussle with another dog once in a while, and she is a fierce opponent, depending on the circumstances of the fight; she fights for the victory, fights to hurt and maim and make it so that the opponent will not forget her in a hurry, or fights viciously to protect. While not hot-headed or impulsive, when she gets properly fired up, it will take a while for her to cool off again, as she is of a more patient dispostion; and it is always those who are the most fierce when crossed. She is a dog who is fiercely protective of those she is close to, or considers her pack, this includes her team. While reserved to outsiders, she is friendly with her team, open to talking to them even outside of her bursts of vocalness; of course, this is when they're not actively doing their work. In the harness, she keeps a firm but not overbearing reputation, making sure everyone knows what to do and to keep them in line, but not overly controlling. Of course, she does not tolerate much insurbordination from the others, one causing problems with the team makes them less able to work as one; order has to maintained within the hierarchy. For her, insubordination is refusing to follow sensible orders, if she does make a foolish order, and her partner doesn't say anything, then she will listen; but if the order is actually reasonable and the dog is being defiant out of stubborness, then, she definitely will not let that slide. Suka in general is a good lead dog. Able to make her own orders when there is none from the human; and also to recognize when an order would lead to the unnecessary injury or death of her team, and when to take control from there; she knows her abilities and carries herself proudly and with dignity, yet knows her own limits and is humble; intelligent and sensible and able to look at a situation and go on from there. Of course, she has her faults, she is not infallible and can make a bad decision; everyone does, she is not perfect. But she still is a good fit for the lead dog postion. Name: Kaskae meaning: "chief" in Alaskan
Age: Three.

[credit goes to EternalOcean on DA] Kaskae is a tall, hefty, muscular canid. A beat of a canine, he stands at over three feet tall, with a weight of nearly 200 pounds. He uses his height as an advantage, namely, to scare others off. His overall physique is muscular, though is also lanky, for his legs are quite long, which give him his height (yes, he was quite awkward-looking as a pup). He is equally powerful and fast, full of stamina and agility. Living in the rough land of Alaska, one has to be. There is no room for one more powerful or one quicker. No, you need a mixture of all. His fur is thick, and seems to have a second layer upon his back, which provides warmth during the cold days and nights of winter His pelage has several shades of grays upon it, as well as both white and black. With eyes that are caught between brown and gold. They are typically found staring at random things with pure coldness and hatred. Several scars appear around his body, some seen, some hidden beneath his pelt, but he carries them with pride. His appearance alone can be menacing. Can you imagine his personality? Personality: Kaskae, to sum him up in two words, is cold and mysterious. He doesn't do friends. He doesn't do conversations. He doesn't do packs. The masculine, fearsome as he is, is a completely and utterly independant individual, as he should be. He grows bored rather easily, and is a wanderer. Kaskae has travelled here and there, and can tell of wild stories that he has witness or plights that he has been though. An avalanche, a slippery cliff, the northern lights, a run-in with a hungry polar bear and her cubs. Yes, he can talk about it all, but that doesn't mean that he will. The male isn't easy to befriend, though it would be if he actually did any work whatsoever to make him seem at least interested in building a relationship. He is reserved, and if anybody pries too much, will become agressive, as if he doesn't want anybody to know about himself. However, he also has a large curiosity that seems to overpower any other emotion he has. If he meets an intruiging individual, his interests will be completely on them. They will have his undivided attention. Despite not liking when others learn about him, he does enjoy seeing what everybody else has to offer. There is a side of him that can act rather.. friendly, though it's reserved for specific individuals. Affection or mushy words aren't his thing. He shows his love in other, more discreet ways, such as a simple action or smile, or bump of a shoulder. There are times where he can offer a compliment or two, but don't let it get over your head. Appearance: [credit got all goes to windfuchs on da] Personality: Tulok is one thing and one thing only: a flirt. He's charming, a heart breaker, and completely leads others on without caring about their feelings. In terms such as those, he may be seen as cruel. He uses his handsome looks and quick tongue to his advantage and lures himself into one's heart, only to purposefully break it. Call it evil or merciless, but to Tulok, it's nothing short of fun. Quick-witted and cunning, Tulok is quick to respond to a nasty comment with his own snarky one, and my, how he enjoys bothering others. He will be sarcastic and annoying, always trying to torment another without failure. Tulok is scary, always knowing one's weakness by a mere conversation with them. He's able to read others by a mere glance. Nothing gets by the male. It's difficult to enter this male's heart, but once somebody does, they would find that he's loyal to them, despite his personality screaming the opposite. If Tulok truly wants something or desires it, he will go out of his ways to ensure that he gets it. Conniving and intelligent, Tulok has a sharp mind, which isn't surprising, since he has a sharp tongue as well. Sometimes, on the rare occasion, if he enjoys one's presence, he will be loyal to them. Ask him a favour and he will do one for nothing in return, however, if he doesn't take a liking to you, expect payback for anything he does for you. Tulok isn't one to sacrifice his life for others. Only if an individual truly means something to him will he find it in his will to do so. In ways such as those, it's difficult to understand if he's selfless or selfish. It depends on the situation, perhaps. Tulok is one who needs to learn to love. He loves little in his life except for his brother. Tulok is more warm towards him and protective. He looks out for him, always ensuring no harm comes to him, for his worst fear is losing his brother. Without his brother, well, he'll have nobody left, and that is a scary thought for him. The male teases and jokes around often, though his remarks can sometimes hurt others. He tends to speak without thinking, but can also be persuasive with his words. Appearance:  [credits go to StockProject1 on DA] Akna is a tall-statured canine with a sinewy physique. Standing at nearly two feet, she remains on the taller side for her breed. Her pelt is thick, the colours solely made up of only white and black. There is some gray evident in her appearance where the black fades into white. Her ears stand perfectly upwards, and gaze is that of a typically stern one. Eyes the colour of a deep hazel, and her nose mixed between both pink and black, Akna is an intruging figure, that is, if one looks closely enough. You would never see her white pelt grow dirty, nor would it ever seem unkept. Personality: It's difficult to truly understand Akna's personality. She is loyal and selfless, yes, but she is also proud. Not in terms of arrogance, but more so in joy or honour. The dame tends to be stubborn at times, though also extroverted. She can be seen often communicating with others, despite not knowing them. In that manner, she is fearless. Akna will not hesitate to confront somebody if they were being disrespectful, even if it isn't her place. She is opinionated and headstrong in that way. Akna radiates the personality of a mother. She acts kind to many, though the minute they disrespect her or anybody else, she goes in for an attack, one that consists of lengthy lectures and snide comments. The female cares strongly for everybody, as if they were her own children, but the moment something goes wrong, she will also not hesitate to ridicule them until they learn their lesson. Being among the older members of her team, she took it upon herself to ensure that everything goes right.
