Appearance: Delta has a pelt the color of a moonless night. An inky black coat, with very few lighter fringes of her fur; the faint lighter pieces seem to be a warm cream shade. There is a little bit of silver-white on her chin, and the light hairs darken to a darker silver on either side of her mouth. Her eyes are a deep amber, sharp and alert; they gleam with an inner fire and resilience, making them seem brighter than they really are. Her dark eye color really looks good with her ink black face. Her angular ears twitch and flick often to capture the sounds around her better, to parse out strange noises and vocalizations of malice. She stands at a good 30 inches tall at the shoulder, and weighs 82 pounds, and is 67 inches long. Overall, she is actually around average size for a female wolf.
She is not a wolf one would want to cross, she is dangerous. With her few visible scars, her way of acting, she looks the part too. She is a lean wolf, quite muscular for a female too, the muscles moving under her pelt and responding to her commands easily. That alone says that she is strong, and a fighter, if any scars don't give off that impression. Her movements smooth and easy, her pawsteps fall quietly on the ground beneath her. She has a deep vee shaped notch in her left ear; a set of claw marks on the left side of her muzzle, from the same fight as when she gained the notch in her ear; and various others that are hidden beneath her coat, or faintly visible. While Delta usually keeps her face impassive, she is quick to snarl or bare her teeth in warning. She has a cold air about her, like a winter storm, but it can change from that default bearing to something else quickly like the weather in high mountainous areas; sudden, swift, and most often than not, fierce. She is built long and lean, with powerful legs with plenty of endurance; and she is swift as the wind tearing over open plains, she was probably the fastest of her siblings when she was with her family. As expected, her fighting style is both speed and strength. This she-wolf cuts a picture of both elegance and power.

Personality: Delta is certainly a fighter, fierce and strong. She is quick to fight, or to be roused for a fight at the very least; just as she bears her fangs commonly to warn or threaten, when another takes that as a challenge, she will eagerly take them up on it. Even if it seems like she will lose, she will still fight, to her last breath. Fire is lodged deep in her marrow, and it just needs a little bit of fuel to come alive; it never burns away, always smouldering, ready to flare up. Nothing it seems, can break her spirit and extinguish the inner fire that burns; no matter what. With her fighting nature, comes truculence; being eager to fight, and being aggressively defiant. In fact, that word is quite accurate for this part of her personality. She does have a filter, but she usually speaks her mind; unless her sense tells her otherwise, and even then, she might still plow ahead. She is a fearless wolf, even with her sense of caution, she will still meet a threat with bared teeth and a snarl in her throat. It goes without saying she isn't the most... obediant wolf in a group, what with her defiance, aggression, and just her overall demeanor.
While she is combative, the female does have a sense of caution. When knows when to be wary, when to fight back, when to simply observe, when to take action. There is a constant alertness to her, it's a more subtle air around her, unlike the coldness; she is normally aware of what is going on around her, although she doesn't bring this to attention unless suddenly bringing herself into a conversation or alerting others to something they hadn't noticed. It sometimes appears as if she doesn't have a sense of wariness, with her proclivity of getting into fights; but don't be fooled, she is cautious, and it shines through when dealing with others. She can be sarcastic and cutting, although sometimes those alternate depending on her mood or situation, but overall, she can offend someone with or without meaning too; or come off as callous. She shows amusement by a particular soft huff, or a flick of her ears or tail, it is rare to hear her laugh; although when she purposely startles or spooks another by melting out of the shadows or does something that alarms another, like butting into a conversation previously thought... private, then she may laugh if she gets a good reaction. Safe to say, she likes to scare others like that, and she's good at it. Delta has a measure of patience, but her temper is not that long; her automatic switch to aggressive sure pays testament to that. She is more of a wolf of action, opposed to those who prefer to throughoughly think things over, she will stop to think about a tactic or how to best approach the situation, but it will be brief and sometimes it appears as if she barely paused to go over things. Her response is to take action, and she rather dislikes having to wait for something for a time, sure, she will wait for prey to pass by, but even then; her nature is more impatient than some. One could say that she is confident, which she is, in her skills and what she can do; but she does know she has limits, and isn't arrogant about it. Confident in the way a warrior knows their skill.
While Delta is a more vocal wolf, she bears her pain and injuries in silence. She will hide wounds, so that is something to watch out for; because to her, it's a sign of weakness, so she doesn't say anything. So one would need to watch how she moves, the switch from a smooth gait to a concealed but still visible stiffness, and she is good at it. She is someone who likes to solve her things without help, so that also ties into the hiding injuries, and sees having help in something that is not a fight as being weak or vulnerable. And she does like feeling either of those things, so it's natural to avoid them. It is a strength and weakness, because she is independent and doesn't rely on others to do things for her; but also a weakness because there are some things where one needs some help, and she will not admit it. She does not trust easily, sure, she will act the same to a stranger as she does with everyone else, but that doesn't mean anything; she will be watching any strangers with a cold calculating stare like a hawk. You could say her nature is calculating too, because she does have an innate cunning in her, and her skewed moral compass and cold nature lends itself to this. When she is being nice, her voice isn't as sharp, or her remarks aren't as cutting. She doesn't show friendliness very often, but she is capable of mercy or being friendly. And in reference to her vocalness compared to others, usually she lands somewhere in the middle, with a tendency to be quiet; but that is until someone gets her fired up, then she will broadcast what she thinks, which happens enough so that she can be considered quite vocal. But as proven by her cold and cunning nature, she is very capable of being silent. In private, when she is with someone she cares about, she is warmer than she usually is; and it isn't even a conscious change, she is more caring and calmer. But no one can erase that personality she has.
