Name: Ellie Miller
Age: 19
Gender: Female

Religion/Skill: Child of Hedens

Sexuality: Lesbian monogamous

Who do you support?: Garizha Xenthia Plesu
Military Rank: Maxius
Society Rank: Horha
Education: Daaja

Weapon of choice: Definitely bow and arrow.

Appearance:
Ellie is a pretty scrawny, lean, and lanky gal with minimal muscle to her. She doesn't have much for definition besides her slim body, and this has caused her to be rather flat-chested as well. To be fair, she doesn't mind, so it's never been an issue. Her skin tone is something of a medium-light, a bit more of a warmer undertone and not necessarily the darkest. Ellie has plenty of freckles scattered across her body, especially on her face. She stands roughly around five foot six, and again, little to no muscle, and is rather slim.

Ellie's head shape is round, sorta leaning towards a more hear shape but still round enough. She has a defined jawline, a small button nose, green-ish hazel-ish round eyes that can sometimes appear a bit more brown depending on the light surrounding her. Above her eyes are her eyebrows of course, which are a bit darker than her hair color and are rounded with a slight arch. As stated before, Ellie has plenty of freckles on her face, though some become more faint and less noticeable. You will find most of them scattered and littered about on her nose bridge and kinda on her cheeks, which is when they become more faint. Again, as stated before, she has a button nose, and below that are her lips. Ellie doesn't have very wide lips, but they are full, and they can be considered bow-shaped lips. Her lower lip is slightly heavier, but it's nothing too major.

Ellie has some interesting hair, to say the least. It is a bit more on the thinner side, hence why her hair works so well with this style. To keep it simple, it's a dark auburn color, sometimes leaning towards the more brown spectrum of things. Her hair is cut similar to a mullet, which it doesn't reach below her neck at all. She doesn't have any bangs to it as some women would, and most of the time, the more frontal pieces are tucked behind her small-ish ears. Her hair is partially sided to the right, so there is some hair that still lays on her forehead, but is otherwise pushed back behind her ears.

Ellie doesn't have much for clothing, to be honest. She wears most of the simple things, and practically everything looks slightly too big on her because of how small she is. You will find her wearing a variety of colors, but she likes blacks, grays, and a forest green color. Her shoes are something similar to combat boots, which are worn and are a deep forest green color. She also wears a simple silver necklace her brother figure gave to her at a young age, and has worn ever since.

Personality:
Ellie seems to be rather approachable, which technically speaking, she is. She's quiet in most cases, normally in group settings you will find her lurking in a corner or talking to about one other person the whole night who she actually knows. Though she is quiet, she can still hold a decent conversation, which to be honest, takes most by surprise. But when she isn't talking to anyone or trying to hold a conversation, she will more than likely be studying the others around her and taking in their body language, appearance, some sort of personality trait, etc. Anything of the sort. Otherwise, she's open for a conversation.

Now, that doesn't mean Ellie is entirely nice. She is actually very easily provoked, and dwells an unexpected temper. To be fair, she might take things out of context a little and blow up for no apparent reason, but normally she's angered for the right reason. Ellie has no issue confronting someone about what they've said or done, whether it be to her or someone she cares about. Ellie isn't entirely civil when angered, and this is where she might become the opposite of what was mentioned - unapproachable. She can become quite dangerous when angry or upset, especially the two combined, and it can lead to murder. Luckily it's never actually came down to that, but pretty close. It's probably best to just give angry Ellie some space.

Now when angry or upset, Ellie will more than likely end up saying something she doesn't mean because her judgment becomes clouded and she doesn't always think straight while in this sort of state of mind. She will probably walk away after saying something to you that she doesn't mean, and take a while to herself before apologizing for being a bit more harsh or rude than she had wanted to. Ellie believes that you cannot properly apologize when upset or angry and mean it, so if you give her a while, she will come back around with something for an apology. Normally it's something along the lines of "What I said was stupid" and nothing formal like "I'm sorry for what I said". Either way, she thinks it works, and it's done her good in the past.

Considering that Ellie will stand up for most people regardless if she knows them or not, she becomes especially protective of those close to her. She will do anything for them, whether it be some simple task or her life coming to an end. Ellie can be a bit tricky to read when it comes to things like this, but it's more than likely obvious that if she's done something for you like confronting a person at least once, she genuinely cares about you and that's her way of saying it. Ellie is still mindful about who she associates herself with - she can be very tentative about some people who she's just met and aren't sure of, or people she already knows and sees a drastic change in them. She knows when to cut ties with someone, which is good considering if she wants to keep a decent inner circle.

Ellie is stubborn. Like, very stubborn. It can range from someone telling her no and she just keeps on doing what she's doing, or she won't stop doing something until it's done. Which might be a strength and a weakness, honestly. This makes her have a decent work-ethic and she likes to focus on one thing at a time. So being stubborn and not stopping until a task is done or until she gets what she wants, Ellie can be considered something of a determined, hard-worker, or others just may think she's a bit of an over-achiever. Either way, she gets what she wants done, so it's a win-win for her. But something else to keep in mind - if focused on something, that will be her main priority and will probably ignore you if you try talking her out of it.

Ellie is relatively simple when it comes to relationships romantically - she likes someone, she will in fact flirt with you without trying to be discreet about it. She might try to spend more time with you, give you gifts, ask you more personal questions than she would with friends, etc if she likes you. However, she will never truly admit that she has something of a crush on you becomes Ellie just wouldn't dare do something like that.

Ellie is someone who might be a tad awkward in most situations, but you want to know how she copes with that? Humor. Just quick, witty, sarcastic jokes that manage to help the situation (at least for her, somehow) and that might make others at least let out a chuckle. Ellie normally laughs uncomfortably if she's in a situation that is well, uncomfortable, or causes her loads of stress. She tries to keep calm and collected though, and normally can calm herself down after laughing a bit. Maybe it's just her coping mechanism.

Family: Mother and father are both alive, her older sister has unknown whereabouts, and has a deceased brother figure who was brutally murdered in front of her.
Lover(s): None as of now.
Friends: PM me
Enemies: PM me

Bio (Optional): Will update later

She will be open to a plot idea regarding her brother's murder. PM me if you're interested <:

Eliska M. Zima

She prefers to be addressed by her full first name, though close friends may be allowed to call her Liska. She hates the nickname El.

Age

25

Gender

Female

Religion/Skill

Children of Hedens

This religion, or a corrupted version of it, stretches all the way north to the tundra where Eliska’s from. She’s practiced this religion for her entire life. In her land, the religion preaches that animals are made to serve humans, and while Eliska struggles with this concept, she generally tends to have a dominant mindset when it comes to nature, likely due to the difficulty of surviving in the tundra.

Sexuality

Asexual Heteromantic

Eliska isn’t generally too interested in romance, but she’s not totally against it and she wouldn’t fight it if she found herself falling in love. In her mind, love means marriage and marriage is forever.

Support

Neither, really, but if she had to choose she'd rather be able to get a job, so Garizha Xenthia Plesu. She doesn’t feel like she has much say in the politics of an empire of which she is really no part.

Military Rank

Maxius

Eliska was drafted very recently, and though she wouldn’t have chosen to join herself, she didn’t fight it either.

Society Rank

Horha

When Eliska came from the tundra, she was determined not to let herself fall into the rank of a chyagehta. She made a name for herself fairly quickly and never sank lower than horha.

Education

Daaja

Of course, as Eliska wasn’t raised in the kingdom, her education was taken care of by her parents. This education, whether it was noble-standard or not, isn’t recognized by the kingdom.

Weapon of Choice

Katar

Eliska is a very straightforward and simple person. She appreciates a straightforward and simple weapon, and a katar is the epitome of practicality to her. She finds using it a lot like punching, which is something she can do wonderfully.

Home

Eliska is originally from the Medved People of the Kalit Tundra. The tundra is hugely expansive and many groups or extended families live together to survive while other make it on their own. They’re known for being warlike and very stoic.

Appearance

Eliska is a young woman, and looks it. She has a fairly round face with slightly heavy-set features and a mildly pointed chin. Her nose is medium and rather flat. She has a natural blush that probably comes from having been cold all the time but never really seems to go away. Her lips are particularly large, as is her mouth in general. It’s a bit frog-like and her lips are pretty pink. Her teeth are a bit large and her canines are strangely sharp. Her eyebrows are a bit thick and very dark, tidy and low-set. Her eyes are cat-shaped and thin-lashed, her irises very dark. Her eyes are blackish-brown and almost unhuman-looking. Her hair is dark brown and very messy and long. It’s often rather tangled, and she wears many parts of it in half-braids and tiny ponytails in an effort to keep it out of her face. It never works. Her hair’s always coming undone and blowing out over her face, but she’s learned to get used to it by now. She has a huge scar across her left eye which comes from a misadventure with her sled team during one of her many trips to seek the Golden Kingdom. It’s badly-healed but doesn’t seem to bother her too much, and her eye still works perfectly well.

Eliska stands at five foot nine, towering over many others. Her skin is rather pale but has a tan tint to it that’s barely noticeable. She has strong shoulders and is muscular from years of travelling the tundra. Her muscles are toned but not as large as many skilled warriors’. Her hands are also large, strong, and calloused, with dirty fingernails that grow sharp and strong if she doesn’t clip them short. Her figure is something of an inverted triangle, with broad shoulders and a smaller waist. Her legs are stocky and strong, her feet calloused with clipped toenails, and she has a slightly large bust. Her neck is rather thick and her feet are particularly large. She has a thin layer of pale hair across her shoulders and upper back. She stands up straight and strong, and she has a firm posture. She generally smells more than anything like snow and smoked meat.

Eliska is always hot in the kingdom. In her native land, she’d wear extremely warm and furry clothing so she could survive the frigid nights. Here, she finds it better to wear as little as possible so she doesn’t get overheated. Sandals laced up to her knees serve as footwear during battle, and when she’s not fighting she wears a thick belt to hold small supplies like her katars, flint and steel, and stuff like that. She’s not very rich, nor does she care much about clothes, so she usually just wears plain brown trousers or breeches and lace-up linen shirts. She rolls the pants legs on her pants way up and usually pins them so they don’t fall. She also tears off her sleeves and undoes the top of her shirt so she doesn’t get too hot. She knows the advantage of wearing some kind of armor in battle, but a lack of finances and a desire not to sweat out while she’s trying to fight means she has nothing more than leather strapped onto her wrists and a huge belt-like leather band over her stomach. When she’s fighting she usually wraps her whole head of hair up in a rough brown cloth to keep it out of her face. She wears no jewelry nor makeup, and is a very plain-looking sort of person.

Personality

Eliska has always been a stoic woman, not one to let her emotions show or dictate her life. This is pretty standard for the Medved, though. It’s what they value, and Eliska values it just as much as them. She prides herself on staying strong and on her ability to wether many harsh conditions. She’s a very good traveller and knows how to survive in the coldest of weather. She can pitch camp in five minutes, carry immense amounts of weight on her back, and wrangle a wild wolf. She’s not bothered much by pain or cold or anything like that. Physical things rarely bother her, and she’s not afraid of being physically harmed. She can fight alright, but refrains where she can. She’s always willing to lend a helping hand, especially to those weaker than her. She knows her strengths and weaknesses, and is very careful not to overestimate herself, because something like that could be deadly. Though she considers nature something of a challenger, in that regard she has respect for it and considers it a noble choice to be among nature and animals more than people. It’s not that she hates social interaction, she just doesn’t like the pressure of keeping contact or having regular friends. She prefers to meet people, spend time with them, and then leave not knowing if she’ll see them again. It’s easier for her that way, and she doesn’t like to be weighed down with social obligations.

Eliska knows that she’s strong, and she makes sure everyone else knows it too. She never gets too close to people because she finds it difficult to maintain friendships, and she rarely talks about anything too serious. Thus nobody really ever talks to her about her own emotional state, and everyone assumes she’s alright all the time. Sometimes she wishes someone would ask her if she needed help, but she would never ask for help. This isn’t only because of the culture she was raised in and the fact that people just don’t do this, but also because she doesn’t feel she deserves help. She didn’t help her sister when she fell into gambling addiction and poverty, nor did she stick up for her father when everyone called him crazy. Because of this, Eliska doesn’t think she’s earned the right to ask anyone for help. She never tried to cure her gambling addiction because the only person it hurt was herself.

Eliska is a very unorthodox woman, far more emotional than most people in the Medved. She laughs, smiles, cries, and gets angry more than people would consider normal. She’s an especially loud and rambunctious laugher, and when she’s having fun she’s more outspoken and cheerful than anyone else around her. She loves to gamble, and this is her favorite form of socializing. She’s not a cheater, and absolutely doesn’t stand for cheaters, so she can cause fights when she calls people out for cheating. She gets angry fairly easily, but is more rarely sad, simply because she finds little to be sad about. She doesn’t cry in front of people. She’s come to terms with her emotionalness after many years, and it no longer bothers her. She just really doesn’t care what other people think of her. She never listens to them when they tell her off, never bothers to find out what they’re saying behind her back. She takes no stock in tradition and does whatever suits her. It’s just the way she is, and she never feels ashamed of it.There are a few aspects of Eliska’s culture which may clash with those of the kingdom. They are both, of course, very warlike and aggressive cultures, and this is the reason for both their friendly and violent interactions. The Medved are a very extreme culture, and everything they do they do with conviction. Marriages are forever, family never leaves one another, and a promise is always kept. In many cases, the law must be taken into people’s own hands, something which Eliska is very used to and may wind up getting her into trouble. Her view of the major religion that is the Children of Hedens also causes many who follow that religion to scorn her own skewed practices.

Family

Eliska has some extended family amongst the Medved, but her main family were the ones who raised her directly.

Havel Zima

Father

He was a trader that got lost in the tundra when Eliska was nine years old. When he returned, he came with stories of a Golden Kingdom. But he was known as a raging alcoholic, and people simply laughed at him. He left again two years later to try and find the kingdom and prove he was right, and he never returned. He was always a rather cheerful man, more emotional than most but still very strong and fierce.

Dusana Zima

Mother

She looked after Natalia and Eliska when their father went away, and taught them almost everything they knew. She protected them and said her goodbyes when they got old enough to leave home. She was always more stoic and quiet than her husband, very reserved and dignified.

Natalia Zima

Older Sister

They were raised together but never particularly close, though they didn’t dislike one another. They started arguing when Natalia told Eliska their father waz crazy. Natalia had a gambling addiction, and Eliska didn’t help her when she asked for help. She eventually froze to death in the tundra. She was much like her mother, and much more serious and ill-tempered than her sister.

Lover(s)

Eliska’s had a crush or two, fancied herself married once or twice, but nothing ever came of it. Since once is forever as far as she’s concerned, she wants it to be somebody she feels she can spend the rest of her life with.

Acquaintances

Drahoslav Miklos

Ultimate Card-Cheating Frenemy

Eliska despises the very existance of Drahoslav, and yet she can't help but love it as well. Oh, yes, he's a liar and a cheat. And so Eliska will tell anyone who asks her, with a small smile on her face. What a dirty, rotten man! Disrupting the sacred honor of gambling! That's what Eliska loves to say about him to anyone who will listen.

Amittai Mushi

Mildly Interesting Showcase

Eliska finds Amittai quite odd, unlike anyone she's ever known, and sometimes she just watches him to see what he'll do. He's like a show to Eliska, barely an actual person and someone she rarely actually interacts with - doing so tires her out.

Ellie Miller

Acquaintance

Collaboration is the closest the two get right now. They work well together, especially on tactical projects, but their tempers are sure to clash. Eliska's not the type to make an effort to get to know people.

Emery Viatrix

Coexisting Drinking Buddy

Eliska has very little opinion on Emery. They can live with each other, and once in a while they'll drink together. Eliska tends to overindulge when gambling, and Emery knows when to cut her off.

Xanthia Amaadon

Mutual Respecters

Eliska generally has a fair amount of respect for Xanthia, and Xanthia for her. They have enough similarities that they can appreciate one another, but nothing more. Eliska does call Xan "Xanthia," which annoys Xan.

Ivona Grigorescu

Mutual Pitiers

Eliska feels sort of bad for tiny, helpless little Ivona. She knows that excessive emotions are a sign of weakness - she herself suffers from the same thing, though not as much as Ivona. Eliska doesn't get jokes and doesn't understand the idea of flirting without wanting to get married.

Tyral Ferichor

Mutual Respectee

Tyral is a very tough, stoic, really kick-ass kind of person. He has a wolf which he has singlehandedly overpowered. She wears enough metal to guard a castle gate. Eliska treats Tyral like she does everyone she respects - she leaves them alone for the most part. She assumes that anyone noble enough to be a true Medved warrior wouldn't want to tlak to anyone.

Zaxal Herahtov

Anarchy Encouragee

Eliska likes what Zaxal has to say, but she doesn't think it's quite enough. If you hate your leaders, you get rid of your leaders. If you don't like the way things are run, you tear the whole thing to the ground. Eliska's always encouraging Zaxal to do something more: start a riot, kill a leader, do something active. He may be short, but he's got potential.

Friends

I’ll PM everyone for relations, but right now most of the friends she once had are back home, including her precious caribou. She only has Delano. She does have an animal she’s training, though. As soon as she came here, she started looking for a deer to serve as a steed, but nobody bred nor trained deer like she wanted. So she’s settled for a sambar deer fawn which she’s planning to nurture into a fine stag. She calls him Ignac.

Delano

Good Friend

Delano is the Valiantian fugitive who took shelter with Eliska. He disguised himself as a caribou to hide, and she eventually found out. She thinks he may have been captured here, and she's looking for him. He was always a very sleazy, nervous-charming sort of person, very possessive but generally good-willed.

Galen Tetricus

Friend

Despite the height difference (the biggest strain on their relationship), Eliska and Galen get along pretty well. They can talk calmly, and their relationship can survive through a few arguments. He's far from her best friend, but they get along well.

Cadoc Leander

Not Really Friend

Cadoc's exactly like every man Eliska ever knew in the tundra, and she finds him the only familiar thing in a strange world right now. She doesn't attach herself to him and makes no effort to become friends, but if she's on anyone's side she wants to be on his. She doesn't both him much.

Enemies

Eliska would call anyone who would mock her father’s vision an enemy of hers, as well as any of those who would take advantage of nature.

Bio

Eliska was born in the middle of the tundra, a difficult birth to be sure but nothing her mother couldn’t handle. Her father was away when she was born, and she didn’t meet him until she was two. But in the meantime she had her mother, who protected, raised, and taught her. She also had her older sister, Natalia, though the two were never as close as some other siblings. They didn’t argue too much, but they never had much in common. Eliska was never sheltered, but her mother would have died rather than let anyone hurt either of her daughters. When Eliska was two, her father, Havel, finally came back. He was overjoyed at Eliska’s birth, and Eliska was overjoyed to have another parent figure around. Natalia had always been more inclined towards comfort, and for this reason she never took much interest in Havel’s work. But Eliska took a liking to her father, and would follow him around. Despite his alcoholism and severe gambling addiction, he was an acceptable father and a great hero in young Eliska’s eyes. He was rarely home, but when he was she would always run to greet him. He always took the time to teach her survival techniques and tell her about his adventures. He taught both of his girls how to gamble, much to their mother’s chagrin. He would always promise that one day Eliska would be old enough to go with him.

But when Eliska was nine, her father went on another expedition and went missing. Eliska wasn’t worried: in fact, she had no idea he had gotten lost at all. But weeks later, Havel returned with wild stories of a great golden land he had found in the tundra. He called it the Golden Kingdom, and found old myths and tales about such a kingdom to back him up. It was made of light, he told them. So beautiful you could barely bear to look at it, with beautiful and exotic plants growing all up it and the sound of laughter and indescribably joyous music drifting from it. But the others laughed and called him crazy. He drank too much, they told him. He was hallucinating - or lying. Eliska believed him. She was mesmerized by his tales. But Natalia said that it was a load of nonsense. This was when the two sisters really started to fight, because Eliska couldn’t understand how Tali could talk about their wonderful, brave father that way. But when other people talked about her father, she never stuck up for him. She always felt guilty about that afterwards. Havel spent the good part of a year trying to convince people, and started drinking more and spending less time with Eliska. Finally he announced that he was going on another expedition to get a piece of that kingdom and show everyone it was true. Eliska begged to go with him, but she was still young and neither her mother nor father would allow it. Havel left alone, and he never returned. Everyone assumed he had died. Eliska swore up and down that she would go find that kingdom to prove that her father wasn’t crazy.

As Eliska grew older, she started to learn more about travel and put together a team of caribou to move her and her supplies, but she knew she would need a source of income as well. She tried out a few things, but found her true calling in the breaking and training of wild caribou. She found herself more at home with the animals than with other people. And so she said goodbye to her mother and sister and travelled to the west edge of the East Tundra to learn how to train caribou. Eliska became quite fond of the creatures, and perhaps a bit more gentle with them over time. She trained up her own team within a few years and made her first trip when she was fifteen years old. She did alright, but didn’t make it nearly far enough to be able to find the mythical kingdom before having to turn back. Struggling a bit with getting money, she turned to one of the many things her father had taught her: gambling. At first it seemed like nothing but bad luck was coming her way, but that was when she hit her first windfall, and the only windfall she’d ever get in her life. She was prepared to go on another trip right away, but just then her sister contacted her and told her she had lost all of her money gambling. Eliska found the coincidence a little too neat, and she was suspicious of her sister. She told Tali that she wasn’t going to get a single coin out of her, and then went off on her next trip.

All was well for Eliska for a while, though her gambling addiction robbed her of any money for a third trip and she had to work with the caribou for a while. But she heard the news in a trading post of a woman frozen to death, and managed to deduce that it was Natalia. She changed her plans and went to find her mother and tell her this news. Her mother was enraged and sad, of course, but got over it as quickly as she possibly could and never blamed Eliska. Eliska stayed with her for a few days and then went back to train and sell caribou. She was still struggling to make and keep enough money for another trip. But she was in luck. She took a particular interest in a very frightened and wild caribou which nobody else had been able to train. She thought she could get it to obey her by being gentle. The seller thought she was crazy, but she got the caribou for a song and started his training. She grew fond of the caribou, and in time she started to sense signs of magic about the creature - something the Medved were always wary of. Eliska chose not to be afraid for the time being, and slowly coaxed it out of its shell. It finally revealed itself to be a man named Delano. He was an unskilled shifter from the Apaseon Empire who had fled after brutally murdering another person. Eliska promised not to reveal him, and in exchange Delano offered something: he would stay with Eliska's team, hiding in plain sight as a caribou to avoid the authorities, and he would use his caribou form influence the real caribou and make them tame as pussycats. Eliska agreed and continued to travel with Delano disguised.

Eliska was making much more money now that she had her secret aid. She was determined to make the last trip to the golden oasis kingdom her father had spoken about. With Delano she figured she could make it. She could finally prove that her father hadn't been insane. She drove her caribou harder than she ever had, and spent every last coin on supplies that would last her at least a few months. And she drove those caribou across the tundra, through freezing blizzards and across icy rivers. Delano, unaccustomed to such vigorous activities, fell ill halfway through the trip. Eliska refused to stop or to turn back, but she looked after Delano as they traveled. One by one, her caribou too started to fall under the strain. One drowned in the river when the ice broke under his hooves, and Eliska barely saved the rest of the team. One collapsed on the spot and had to be cut up for meat. But finally, after months and months of travel . . . Eliska saw something. She saw a kingdom, towering high and mighty with the sun sparkling off of it. Delano knew it at once, and through feverish delirium he tried to warn Eliska that this was no golden kingdom: this was the Apaseon Empire, and they were out of the tundra. Eliska didn't listen. In a reverie, she left Delano, her sled, and her caribou where they stood and made her way to the kingdom. It was hot, sweltering hot, and Eliska had to take off her pelts and gear before she burned up. She could hear people laughing and singing, and saw plants growing. This was it: it had to be it. The air was festive and all was just as her father had described it. Eliska forgot about Delano and her caribou, and she joined in the laughter and fun. She drank, gambled, danced and played games until she finally passed out on the street.

The next morning, though, was different. Something felt wrong. Eliska woke up and the day was dim and grey. Men with hangovers stumbled down the street. Chyagetus picked their way along the street, looking for things people had dropped during the night. Even the plants seemed scarcer now, and Eliska’s head was throbbing. She knew it: this wasn’t the place she was looking for. It couldn’t be, because if it was, her whole life had been spent looking for a dream that turned out to be nothing at all. Eliska determined to keep going, to turn back and look for the Golden Kingdom. But when she arrived, she found her sled empty and her caribou half-dead from the heat. Delano was gone. Eliska knew he was too weak to walk by himself, and since the caribou were here they obviously hadn’t run off. Suddenly she remembered what he’d tried to tell her last night. She knew she shouldn’t have brought him here, and she was certain somebody must have taken him. So she unhitched her caribou so they could run back to the tundra, sold her sled and remaining supplies to establish herself here, and settled down. She would need to be subtle about it if she was going to find Delano. She knew nothing of this empire nor its laws. When Eliska was chosen to be in the army, she was just fine with that. It gave her an excuse to stay and look for Delano. She’s told her troops all of this, in bits and pieces over time, except the bit with Delano. She says she’s staying here because she needs to recover from her journey before she sets off again.

Eliska M. Zima

She prefers to be addressed by her full first name, though close friends may be allowed to call her Liska. She hates the nickname El.

Age

21

Gender

Delano

Friend

Delano is the Valiantian fugitive who took shelter with Eliska. He disguised himself as a caribou to hide, and she eventually found out. She thinks he may have been captured here, and she's looking for him. He was always a very sleazy, nervous-charming sort of person, very possessive but generally good-willed.

Name: Cadoc Leander
Nicknames: Cad, Lean, Leander. Anything that floats your boat.
Age: 32
Gender: Male

Religion/Skill: Follower of Darkness

Sexuality: Heterosexual Demisexual Monogamous

Who do you support?: Garizha Xenthia Plesu... For the most part. Cadoc could generally care less, to be honest, about anything regarding the subject of politics. Just isn't is thing, and probably never will be.
Military Rank: Maxius
Society Rank: Chyagetu
Education: Daaju

Weapon of choice: A sharp, long blade that was originally a gift from his father that he's had ever since. The blade is around five inches long, slightly curved, with a dense stone handle and leather grips.

Appearance:
The first thing about Cad is his height. Considerably above average, he stands at six foot three with a bit of a broad stature. He has especially broad shoulders/chest, and is unbelievably fit and muscular - athletic looking. He has a rather even skin tone of a more tan color, considering the work he's done outside and developed some tan lines depending on what he might've been wearing. Cadoc has some natural skin blemishes, like birth marks and freckles scattered throughout, which are mainly found across his tired and unamused looking face.

Cadoc's head shape is something along the lines of an oval yet rectangular face. His jawline is defined, though a lot more hidden considering his full, yet short, beard. He has a straight nose, slightly downturned at the end with a small scar across the top. Cadoc has a bit more thinner lips, though appear that way since they're hidden behind his facial hair. They're a pale pink color, sometimes looking a bit dry. Cadoc's eyes are a dark brown, looking rather lifeless, and are brought out by the dark begs under his eyes, giving him a tired, and even more lifeless look. His eyes are rimmed with dark eyelashes, though not very long and don't appear very much considering his hair's just dark in general.

You will almost always find Cadoc's face looking rather unamused. He's very hard to please, and most of the time, he just has a resting bitch face. His dark eyebrows might be down-turned, eyes narrowed, as he just stares at you as if you're stupid, which if he's looking at you like that, then that might be exactly what's going through his head - either your stupid or just plain out a dumbass. Very rarely will you ever see this man smile, or even let a small smirk pass.

But moving along, Cadoc's hair is thick, and is dark brown in color with slight gray peering through as he continues to age, and same in his facial hair - scatter gray whiskers can be found, but to be honest, he could genuinely care less about the fact he's graying and he's not even in his forties. Or at least yet. Anyways though, his hair is long enough to barely curl out past his ears, and is normally slightly tucked behind them. His hair has a slight part to the left, but is nothing definable and he tries to keep it out of his face to the best of his abilities.

Cadoc's closet is super simple, containing a lot of neutrals in color and he likes to layer his clothing. He does know when to pack light with clothing, especially in more hot weather, but it normally doesn't bother Cad. In most cases, he'll wear a simple top, matching with some long pants, and maybe something of a coat on top, and if needed, a more heavier one. His shoes are similar to what today would be work boots, which are a dark brown and have been worn in since forever ago cause he decided that replacing boots that are falling apart is just too much work.

Personality:
The first thing that anyone takes notice about Cadoc's identity is how blunt and straight to the point he is. He's never been afraid to speak his mind, and will do so as quickly as possible, making him witty with responses as he thinks rather quickly. Cadoc is always on high alert, constantly scanning his surroundings and listening in on those around him. There's never a moment he doesn't miss anything, unless he is preoccupied, or more obvious, he's not there physically in the area with someone else or a group of people.

Cadoc is very selfish. He will do things for himself at any moment he gets, constantly prioritizing himself even if you might've told you how something was or how to do something; this aspect to him doesn't change. Cadoc's never really found the need to care for anyone else, as all he's found is that it just ends up getting you killed or they just get taken away from you. But if he feels some sort of connection with someone, Cadoc does know how to protect his own, and therefore will do so himself.

Considering how selfish he is, Cadoc will do anything to keep someone he genuinely and truly likes to himself. And not in a possessive way, but in order to stay close to them, he will go as far as lie to protect them and himself from finding the truth about something. Cadoc doesn't like it anymore than the person probably does, but he knows that if he wants to keep someone close, he'll need to dodge obstacles and he has resorted to lying. Maybe in the long run that will just hurt him more, which he has yet to discover, but it hasn't done him any bad just yet.

Moving along though, remember that it was mentioned that Cadoc hears and sees practically anything cause of how observant and open to focusing on multiple things he is? Well, Cadoc has also learned to become quite dominant and knows how to put you in your place if you've ever disrespected someone, make a bad choice, things along those lines, he will in fact put you in your place and you just might regret saying or doing the action. However, this does go to prove how much of a hypocrite Cadoc is, considering he literally lies cause he selfish, so.

Cadoc is an amazing worker who is diligent and as precise as possible. He doesn't like having lose ends in his work, or even in general, therefore he always works until something is done and prefers to not stop in the middle of a project unless it's absolutely needed for himself. He's intelligent in the way that he's good for work, and can normally think up of strategies to either make things even more precise, or speed up the process in a time of stress and worry. Normally, he prefers to work by himself, and won't ask for help, but if it's asked, he might as well take the bullet. However, don't expect Cadoc to come running to you if he needs help.

Cadoc rarely lends a helping hand himself, and especially not out of the 'kindness of his heart', because really, Cadoc doesn't have much of a heart unless you've actually impacted him. Saving his life doesn't mean you're his friend. And being there for him doesn't mean that either. Friend or not, Cadoc's never really seen vulnerable, such as crying or expressing his own feelings. He has plenty of reasons to have unresolved issues and trauma, but he doesn't think he should talk to anyone about it cause he's dealing with his own shit, and doesn't feel like putting that on others' shoulders. If asked about how he is, you'll get a quick "I'm fine" or "Just dandy", which normally nobody questions it considering his blank face might as well just say "fuck off" nine times out of ten.

Cadoc is very hard to please and is always looking rather unamused. His humor's basically non-existent, he doesn't have much for jokes in his toolbox, and he's rather serious. You will never catch Cadoc in a fit of laughter or even see him smile, as he's just cold like that. He's always been like that - raised as a boy without much help and guidance, he sorta just found the world as this harsh place and he nestled in as one of the 'assholes' as some might say. Which to be fair, they're not wrong, as Cadoc isn't necessarily the most easiest to get along with, so why would he deny that?

Cadoc is reliable in tense situations, considering he knows how to keep his cool and has been taught to stay as calm as possible in tense or stressful situations. However, this doesn't make him a reliable source to come talk to him. He prefers to keep his internal feelings private, and has never found the right person to open up to in a long while. Cad has minimal feelings for really anyone, romantic or platonic, and normally sticks to himself. He is overall quite honest, but isn't entirely trustworthy, considering his lying tendencies. Definitely not reliable to keep a secret, tell you that much.

Family:
Mother and father are both deceased from an illness that took them, has a sister and a brother, both of which are younger. He doesn't have much contact with anyone else, honestly, though he does consider

Lover(s):
Maybe in the future. PM me.

Friends:
Cadmus // Horse
A mustang gelding that Cadoc picked up when he was around twenty-five, and gained a rather close bond with. Cadmus is a blue roan with dark brown eyes, and stands roughtly around fourteen hands high.

Eliska // Okay

Cadoc doesn't mind her presence, but doesn't always appreciate it either. They have few conversations, and fewer deep conversations, which he's totally okay with. They might grow closer in the future, however, considering Cadoc holds some form of familiarity to Eliska.

Ivona // Definitely not his favorite
Cadoc has experienced better and worse women, or people, like Ivona. Though she isn't exactly the worst person or the best, he doesn't always like being around her, and hates how she might try to pry open his feelings that are bottled up.

Drahoslav // Strong like
Surprisingly, Cadoc likes Drahoslav, but for unexpected reasons that he will respect Cadoc's wishes of normally wanting to work alone, or perhaps be alone in general. Cadoc can imagine getting to know him more in the future, but for know, he'll just like his existance from a distance.

Enemies:
Some may say everyone.

Bio (Optional): TBA/TBD
Generally a normal childhood, and grew up extremely poor. Sadly, he still lives up to that and hasn't achieved anything that would be considered at least middle-class.

Lover(s):
Maybe in the future. PM me.

Standing at approximately 5'11" tall wilt raven colrored hair and grey eyes, this person has a muscular, but slim mesomorph body type with a fine hourglass figure. ↠ Personality:

As someone from a lower class family, one would assume them to be nothing more than an ornery beggar. Yet, Emery holds a dignity about them in larger crowds. Intimidating yet prideful stance. To those around them, they seem cocky or rough. However, Emery is just one who keeps their distance. They are quiet, collected, and for the most part, patient. The air of nobility they exude is a mystery to those who know them. There should be no reason for them to appear this way, but they do.

To those around them, Emery is not one to ask for help, not take it very well. They're heavily independent and feel humiliated when help is necessary. They take pride in being so independent. They may be patient mos to the time, however when something needs to be done they will take the lead and get it done. They dislike having to wait if it's a matter of importance to them. They like to say that if you want it done right, do it yourself.

Their independence leads to Emery being assertive. They like tot are charge and lead, but will step back if there's someone qualified in the role beforehand. This doesn't mean they won't take matters into their own hands, but it also doesn't mean they're wildly reckless or rebellious. They value their opinion and others as well, but ignorance or stupidity can cause them to become sharp. This is what causes them to keep to themselves in crowds. There is no point in stressing over too many people with too many different opinions.

Emery holds the type of personality that is hard to tie down. They dislike the idea of being permanently chained or attatched to something or someone. This branches from their lack of trust is certain people. They'll present themselves as caring and this can be misinterpreted as flirting at times, however they thunk of it as decent human kindness. If anyone were to fall from a cliff they'd dive after them without a second thought, however this is only on the rare occasion they are connected as more than an aquaintance.
