Relocated There are 4 packs that live within the same area in Banff National Park, Canada. They are the Northern Pack, Southern Pack, Western Pack, and Eastern Pack. These 4 packs have never gotten along and never worked together. They only tolerate having their territory's borders touch so that they all have access to the large herds of caribou in their area. ~~~~~~~~ Where the packs live is far away from humans and their cities. They live among the forests, mountains, and valleys. The coniferous forests are thick. The mountains are tall, rugged, and covered in snow. The valleys are full of forests and large fields of tall grasses. Clear, blue lakes dot the landscape of the valleys. ~~~~~~~~ Pack life is continuing on like normal. Patrols are defending their territory or hunting for the pack. Border skirmishes are fought and pups play together in the camps while the mothers and elders watch. Everything is peaceful until one day humans show up in their territories armed with tranquilizer guns and cages.These humans are there to capture wolves for relocation to Yellowstone National Park. ~~~~~~~~ Before the packs know it, seven wolves are captured by these humans and taken to Yellowstone. Each wolf is from one of the 4 rival packs that are sworn enemies. Will they be able to set aside their differences and work together to find a way home or will they try to work together to settle into their new surroundings? ~~~~~~~~ |

The Packs Northern Pack The Northern Pack lives entirely in the mountains. Their territory stretches over the mountain ranges and stops just before the valleys. The wolves are usually larger than the other packs with fur thicker and more adapted to the freezing cold air and snow. Their paws and muscles are hard and compact from running over rough, rocky ground. They have an incredible sense of balance and lungs adapted to the thinner air. The camp is located in a huge cave with tunnels high up in the mountains. Their eyes are used to the dark from the caves and the wolves have learned how to pick out scents and sounds of prey beneath the snow and howling wind. They hunt smaller prey since they don't often find caribou, elk, deer, etc in their territory. Common game for the Northern Pack would be snowshoe hares, rodents, foxes, goats, and the occasional larger prey. ~~~~~~~~ Southern Pack The Southern Pack lives entirely in the valleys. Their territory consists of thin forests, large fields of tall grass, and small lakes. Their fur is of average thickness but thick enough to keep warm. Their paws are adjusted to the softer ground. These wolves are smaller, leaner and more lithe. They're mostly found in the open fields but are comfortable under the trees. They're excellent at stalking and staying silent from having to hunt in the vulnerable fields of tall grass. The camp is located in the forests for better protection. Caribou, deer, elk, etc are more common in the valleys. They will hunt smaller rodents when neccessary or for easy kills. ~~~~~~~~ Western Pack The Western Pack lives partially in the mountains and partially in the forests with no fields of tall grass. Their territory borders the Northern Pack and the Southern Pack to the west. Their fur and lungs are accustomed to the colder, thinner air higher up in the mountains. Though half of their territory is in the mountains, the pack prefers to stay in the forests. Their paws are like those of the Southern Pack, adapted to the softer ground. The wolves are bigger and more muscular than the Southern Pack wolves from hunting and climbing in the mountains but not as big as the Northern Pack wolves. Their camp is also located in the forests, with a separate camp hidden in the mountainous part of their territory. They hunt a wide range of prey from caribou and elk to the smallest rodents. ~~~~~~~~ Eastern Pack The Eastern Pack lives mostly in the forest surrounding a smaller lake in their territory. A small part of their territory consists of mountains and fields of tall grasses but is mostly forest and marshy land. Their territory borders the Northern and Southern Packs to the east and are aross from the Western Pack. Their paws are softer from the pines that cover the forest floor and the marshy land around the lake. They are average-sized with great tracking skills. Their ears have adapted to listening to creatures scuttling around in the sticky mud and over the thick layer of pine needles. Their eyes are adjusted to the dark since the trees grow so close together in their forests. They hunt the same creatures as the Western Pack. |

Pack Name: Prythian ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Name: Riven ("Riv-en") Pack: Northern Pack Age: 2 Gender: Female Sexuality: Straight Appearance: Riven isn't as big as the other wolves in Northern Pack. She isn't the smallest, and she's still slightly bigger than most of the wolves from the other packs. Her body resembles her mother's lean, lithe build rather than her father's thick, stocky build. Her brother Ridge takes after their father while Codex is a combination of their parents. Riven's body is thin and graceful but still full of muscle. Her smaller and thinner body allows her to twist tightly and fit into smaller spaces. She's lighter, so she's faster on her paws. Some of the pack even consider her the fastest among them. Her paws are hard and compact from the rocky ground, and her claws are sharp. Her tail is long and fluffy and keeps her well balanced while hunting and running. Her coat is a beautiful light golden color with white mixed inbetween that most of the time blends in with the snow easily enough. Personality: Riven is as shy and introvert as they come. She's even considered the quitest wolf in Northern Pack. She rarely speaks up and when she does talk, she has the sofest and gentlest voice you'll ever hear. When speaking to another wolf, she'll often keep her head down. Not out of disrespect but self-consciousness. Riven mainly talks to her family and the wolves she knows the most. She'll answer a question and speak when she needs to, but she's not one to start or carry the conversation. Being the quiet shadow that she is, she often hears the best gossip just by being by others that love to talk. Riven is fiercely loyal to her pack. She wakes early each morning and often goes on several patrols before settling down for the night. She enjoys playing with the pups and keeping the elders company. Riven is more a hunter than a fighter. Her quietness comes in handy when hunting, making her a great stalker. Though she prefers hunting over fighting, Riven is a formidable opponent. She might not be as big as the other wolves, but her lean and lithe body makes her fast on her paws. She always has a kind word to say and is great at giving encouragement. She always brightens a grumpy elder's day and can have the pups laughing and playing within moments. She's patient with the elders and pups and works well with the other hunters and even the trainees.The whole pack loves her and is very protective of her. Though she's quiet, she's very independent. She has the initiative and will often go out into the territory on her own and hunt small game. She prefers time on her own but doesn't mind when her brothers want to tag along. To say the least, Riven is one of the most stubborn and determined wolves in Northern Pack. Once she has her mind made up, there's no talking her out of it. She's disobeyed orders before when she's thought that the orders were wrong. But she always has the right motives and would never do anything to harm her pack. Riven is also quite self-conscious and doesn't really have any self-confidence. She never feels like she's doing enough for her pack or is good enough to be a part of the pack. Those thoughts often plague her mind and cause her to exhaust herself in trying to prove herself to the pack even though it's not necessary. Her stubborn self never listens to the other wolves who tell her to rest or take a break. She always feels like she has to bring home the most prey or do the most border patrols in order to please her pack. Part of why Riven's so quiet is because of her self-consciousness. She always thinks she'll say the wrong thing and end up embarrassing herself or hurting someone's feelings. So, she decides to just not say anything at all. Royse Pack: Eastern Pack Age: 2.5 Gender: Female Sexuality: Straight Appearance: She is a smaller wolf compared to the others in her pack. She has longer legs, but a very small torso. Her head is a perfect size for her body. Her muzzle is long with a nice shiny pink nose at the end. She has very large ears and a long pink and gray tongue. She has a white face with one blue eye and one gold eye. One ear of hers (The left) is pute white, and the other is a light dusty rust color. The rest of her pelt is a brown-rusty orange. She has some markings on her hind left leg, some white spots and her bottom three forths of her leg is completely white. She has a longer fluffy tail that's all dusty-orange brown. She has some scars along her front left leg and shoulder, they're deep and very visable. She also has a scar on her face across the right side of her muzzle. Her abdomen is very swollen from her pregnancy and it effects her gaits. She cannot run as well and constantly yearns to rest because of the added weight. It makes her form very round and akward, which is not like her natraul form at all. Personality: She is very spunky and happy when she's comfortable and around other wolves, but she gets very shy and terrified around a new envorment or different surroundings.
She is naturally happy when she's relaxed. She loves to socialize and check in on her pack. She's protective of them and will do anything to keep them safe. She's very caring towards everyone and loves to make sure her pack is going well. but if she's not with her pack, she changes. She gets scared and insecure and usually ends up acting out for fleeing. She relies heavily on other wolves for her support and starts to crumble apart when she doesn't have that support. Pack name: AppleBottomJeans . Name: Helios . Pack: Western . Age: 5 . Gender: Male . Sexuality: Bisexual . Appearance: He has almost orange yellow eyes, like amber. It matches well with his dark black fur with red undertones visible in the sun, though his paws up front are lighter and his back left toe is white. He is a bit bulker and more muscular then the others in his Pack and could be easily taken for a medium sized Northern Pack member. Being heavily built he is lacking slightly in speed but more then compensates in his brute force and solves most issues that way. He has thinner fur, but more of it making him very floofy looking. His two front canines show when his mouth is closed, and his right ear has a small nick in it. . Personality: He doesn't like to hold his tongue and is very verbal. Often getting in trouble or in fights. If he is mad or vexed he will show it. He isn't subtle and doesn't take anyone's smack except the Alphas. When he isn't in some trouble he is often sun bathing or trying to get faster or more agile. As he knows he falls short there, and hates it. He solves most problems threw aggression and only really takes a shining to pups. He sees them as small and helpless so he tries to show them things. Anyone else besides pups or the alphas he really doesn't care about. Around those who he is interested in he tends to be less his forceful self and more silent and awkward. . Strength and likes: He is physically strong, extreamly protective of the few he cares about, has confidence and pride. He likes to work on his shortcomings, he likes when others look at him and don't say anything, and he likes small gestures. . Fears and dislikes: He hates being called out, if he is wrong he likely knows it but is to stubborn to admit it. His pride often becomes to much and makes him come off as excessively arrogant. If he is working on making himself better he doesn't want others input. Yes he doesn't like a lot of people but one of his greatest fear is knowing he is truly alone. . Personality: Sage is a shy introverted wolf and tends to keep her distances from other wolves, even in her own pack. Despite the fact the she likes being alone, she actually is quite freindly if you get to know her. But she also has a protective side.
