Appearance: A chocolate pelted lion with a dark brown, almost black, mane. Noctum has lovely eyes that appear almost purple in most lighting. He is larger than most males, having some sort of mutation similar to gigantism.

Personality: Next to physical strength, emotional strength is extremely important. Hence why Noctum is, in lack of a better term, an emotionless killing machine. Sadistic thoughts haunt him day and night, although he hides it, they never really leave him alone. While out in public, Noctum has an aura of confidence and determination that fill the air around him. Noctum is also extremely protective, especially over the females in his pack. He struggles with anger issues and could snap at an unsuspecting wolf at any moment. Noctum also enjoys cruel punishments, he has no fear surrounding death or violence. To him, life is only a game for his pleasure and entertainment. His intelligence is what has helped him make it this far in life, and his brutish strength. Surprisingly, the cold male does have a sweeter side, but hasn't been shown to anyone in the pack. Once he has a mate and cubs, he will trust them with his sweeter side, but only sometimes. Noctum is pictured as a rigid stone, while deep inside there is some light, but it's always fading. Noctum is clearly a drill sergeant type of alpha, not some pompous king. He doesn't sit around while others do things for him, he'll jump right in and pull his own weight. There is absolutely no misconception about his war-like ways, snarling and snapping in the face of his enemies and actively seeking out battle, the alpha does not shy away from getting blood on his teeth nor does he cower from spilling his own blood or the blood of others to make a point. He lacks in etiquette and doesn't do well with stealthy tasks, the dark lion prefers to let the dominant lioness (when he takes one/makes his pride) or the beta do the talking in delicate situations and leaves stealth tasks to the pack members. However he is capable of negotiating and speaking civilly when the need arises, but he is by no means a wordsmith and would much rather tear one down with his teeth than to negotiate with them. He won't sugarcoat things for the sake of others nor will he hesitate to say what he wants, Noctum is certainly not a canine of eloquence. He is a cunning and patient creature, with the wit to swiftly pinpoint weaknesses and the patience to wait for the perfect moment to strike. He knows exactly how to organize his troops for any situation, an innate skill that proves useful when organizing the pack for warfare. He has the strength to take hits and hit hard as well as the stamina to hold out for as long as needed to see an objective through. He absolutely does not tolerate disobedience and has punished many for small slights or even accidents. Noctum wont back down from any opposing him or from those trying to take his position, readily leaping into battle to shed the blood of anyone who tries to dethrone him. He does not fear death but rather welcomes it into his home without fear. Although not a romantic, Noctum fancies the idea of having a few females to carry his glorious offspring, but it would only be those he see's fit. He hates clingy females attempting to stand up to him and would much rather rip out their throats than hear their high-pitched voices speaking his sacred name
