| @Amy Shoppers caused your work place to need to be shut down for a week or month? That's seriously messed up. Shoppers can be so rude and disrespectful to the people helping them or people who just plain work at a place. |

| Desti...honestly after yesterday we would need a week off...i work in a store and people went crazy like we will be closed the whole month not just 2 days...i worked the morning shift and went back in the evening because we didnt have enough people working |

| @Amy Ah, okay. That makes more sense as I haven't seen a day for workers on May 1 here yet on this long long list. I'm sure we must have something like it though. I just think it probably would have limits and restrictions or something if we do. Either way, and disregarding the fact I don't and can't work, I honestly think that it's a cool holiday. | @Rainbow There's several reasons. The main are probably that I personally believe there's only one God and it also just makes me extremely uncomfortable. Your school is out at 10:00 am? That's both cool and kind of crazy. I've never heard of a school like that, the closest I have heard of are schools for kids with more severe disabilities, special needs and/or an individual learning plan and the earliest release for those I know about are more like noon. |
