Dropping out of trees, on to peoples backs, coming from behind, is the way she fights best. She also uses knives and daggers, though she has trained in the art of a sword as well. Backstory: The Woods were one of the more prominent families in the little town of Seashell Shores. Her parents were visiting Indiana on a business trip, when they contracted the virus, and died. Wave is now staying with her best friend in Selina's house. She is small and slender, frail-looking, and others think she isn't strong enough to withstand the trauma and danger of the virus. Picture of character (if possible) Height: 5'5"" Weight:110 lbs Scars/distinguishing marks: She has a small birthmark on her left shoulder. It is blood red, and shaped like a butterfly. Allergies: None Any physical ailments/illnesses/disabilities: She has a weak ankle, making it difficult for her to run long distances without stopping. She wears a brace, which helps, but not much. Any medication regularly taken: No Personality: Extremely shy, a bit insecure, trusting, intelligent, optimistic, studious, hardworking, determined. Her fragile exterior hides an iron will, and when forced, she is a excellent fighter. Likes: Reading, gardening, sewing, studying, writing Dislikes: Being forced to do things in front of others, running, violence Fears/phobias: Claustrophobic Significant/special belongings: She has a small dagger with a silver handle. It is an heirloom, passed from generation to generation in her family. Fighting skills/techniques: When forced, she fights like a tiger. She can use almost any weapon with some skill, and she prefers fighting from on top of something. Weapon of choice (if any): She prefers her small dagger, but can handle almost any weapon. Weaknesses in combat: Her inexperience and weak ankle are definite setbacks. Unless her friends or family are in danger, it is also difficult to convince her to fight. Strengths in combat: Her small, lithe body is a deffinite advantage. The ability to use any weapon also makes her able to grab a random weapon and use it fairly well. Family and status is family (dead, alive, relation, ect.): Mother. She is still alive, but is as frail and sick as her daughter looks. Friends: Waverly Enemies? Why are they enemies?: None Backstory: Selina's parents were poor, and had to work for every penny they owned. By don't of hard work, they had reached a point of financial security when Selina was 13, and sent her off to school. These were hard years for Selina, but she learned to survive on her own. When she returned home, she sought Wave's weapons instructor, and asked if she could take lessons. The man agreed, and Selina had worked for about two years on this, unknown to her parents, before tragedy struck and her father died in a train accident. Selina and her mother moved to a smaller house, and a year later, the virus struck. |

Her parents saved for years to be able to send her to school once they realized she was extremely intelligent. She had been sent to a boarding school, and while on her way home, was kidnapped and brought to the lab. Appearance: Tall, slender, athletic. She has long, slender hands and fingers, blazing red hair, and smoldering blue eyes that seem full of fire. Name: Ayla Nickname: None Ancestry: Unknown Age: 4 1/2 Species: Wolf Gender: Female Appearance: Ayla is a small, slight wolf. She is completely white, with a silvery tinge that enables her to blend with the snow. Her eyes are an icy blue, sharp and cunning, but sparkling with fun. Personality: Ayla was alone by herself for a year after her third birthday, and lost all contact with others. She is a little awkward around other wolves, but is slowly getting over this in her new pack. Ayla is intelligent, caring, and patient. She has an air of sadness around her, that she is trying to conquer. Abilities: Ayla is a superb hunter and tracker. She loves exploring on her own, and training others. Scars/Birthmarks: None Weaknesses: Ayla is very tenderhearted, and also sometimes is guilty of a lack of communication. She hates fighting other wolves, though she doesn't mind fighting prey/predators. Friends: Her new pack Enemies: None Family: None. Both parents are dead. Back story: Ayla was born to Starry Night and Ashwin, the beta couple of the Starlight Pack. Before she was a year old, her sire, Ashwin, was killed in a fight against the Midnight Pack, protecting his alpha. When Ayla was 2 1/2, her mother died from starvation in the height of winter. Ayla couldn't stand being in that pack anymore, and left. She was a loner for the next 2 years until she was about 4. At that time, she came across the River Valley Pack. She has been there since. Name: Jerrell Rodriquiz Nicknames: Jerry Ancestry: Mexican Age: 18 Species: Human Gender: Male Appearance: Jerry is small, about 5'6 and ways about 150 lbs. The bangs of his short, wavy dark hair is dyed a brilliant red, and he has piercing black eyes. Personality: Jerry feels a need to control. He has to have someone there to obey his every whim, or he is unhappy. The fact that he is demanding, makes it hard for him to keep any of his ""slaves"" very long. Besides this, Jerry is extremely friendly, and loves to hang out with people. People are happy to do things for him-until he starts calling them at 3 in the morning to come to his house and get him a drink of water. Abilities: Jerry is able to make friends quickly, though his ability to keep them is questioned. He is pretty decent academically, gets good grades, but isn't a genius. He likes to play sports, and is pretty good at baseball. He also has an interest in archery, and has proven to be a decent shot. Scars: He has a small scar on the back of his calf, from when he was in a fight, and a boy cut him with a knife. It is about an inch long, and a millimeter wide. Weaknesses: His short height makes it sometimes difficult to play some sports. He isnt the best at football, due to his light weight and small stature, and he is usually a benchwarmer. His controlling issues make it difficult to get along with people for any long period of time, and he is also pretty insecure. Friends: He currently has a small group of friends: Alli Markus, Matt Humphrey, and Joseph Sterbenz. Enemies: He doesn't really have any enemies. Even those who become angry at him can't stay that way for long. Family: He has no siblings, and lives with his parents; Maritza Rodriguez, and Carlos Rodriguez, who travel constantly, always dragging him along. Back story: He has no structure at home, and is tossed around the United States. They usually stay in one place for about 6 months to 1 year. He has no control and no say in anything that goes on in his home, making him long for control over something/someone. This is the reason for his insecurity/control issues. Very few people know about his difficult life, and see his controlling as ""just a way to make himself feel better then everyone else."" In a way, it is, but he doesn't see it that way. Name: Alli Markus Nickname: All Ancestry: French/Dutch Age: 17 Species: Human Gender: Female Appearance: Alli has frizzy brown hair that is usually pulled back in a ponytail, tanned skin and a ton of freckles. Her eyes are a golden brown, and she is small and slender, standing at 5"" 3' and weighing in at 115-120 lbs. She wears loose clothing, allowing freedom of movement, and prefers to wear sneakers and sweatshirts to heels and fancy dresses. Personality: Alli is a tomboy and hates anything girly. She is also a bit of a loner and dislikes hanging out with most people. Matt and Joseph have been her friends since she was little, and Jerry is her new friend. She dislikes crowds, and would normally rather run then hang out with people. She has worked hard at sports, so is reasonably good in most of them. She is the star pitcher on the softball team, and the only girl on the school's hockey team. (Most girls refer to it as too dangerous.) She is fairly good academically, gets decent, but not amazing grades. Abilities: Running is deffinitly an ability she has. She is the fastest runner in track, but besides being fast, she also has the important factor of endurance. She is a star softball pitcher, and a pretty good left win in hockey. Scars/Birthmarks: She has a small birthmark on her left arm. It is a tan color that sometimes blends with her tan skin. It is in the shape of a crescent moon. Weaknesses: Her light weight can be an asset, but also a hindrance, same with her height. Being a loner can also make it difficult for her to work well with others, which can be bad working with a team. Friends: Jerrell Rodriguez, Matt Humphrey, Joseph Sterbenz Enemies: None Family: She lives with her mother, Alicia Markus, her father, Ezekial Markus, and her younger brother, Karl Markus. She has one older brother, Elias Markus, who has his own place. Back story: Alli has lived in the same place all her life. People have gotten used to her tomboyish ways, and lack of friends. Though some people make fun of her, everyone respects her for following what she was good at, and doing what she wanted to do. Breaking out of the mold, so to speak. You see, where she lives, girls playing sports is not popular. Maybe softball, but not track, and certainly not hockey. Name: Matt Humphrey Nickname: None Ancestry: Unknown Age: 19 Species: Human Gender: Male Appearance: Matt's tall height of 6"" 3' make him an excellent basketball player. His thick jet black hair, deep blue eyes, and dark skin makes him quite a looker. He is slim and muscular, weighing in at 150 lbs, and his hands are long and slender, aiding him in playing the piano. He likes to wear a grey shirt and jeans, with sneakers. He has a rough, slightly grating low voice unless he is singing, at which point and time it seems to become smoother and more melodious. Personality: Matt is gentle, unassuming, and quiet. He hates bullying, and can never do enough for his friends. Due to this, he is Jerry's current ""slave."" Matt doesn't mind, and may actually stick around for a while. He is determined, especially in his music, and schoolwork. He dislikes violence of any kind, so he doesn't play hockey or football, and only watches the games for his friends. Abilities: Matt is extremely talented in the musical department. He plays the violin, viola, cello, guitar, banjo, and piano. He also sings in the school choir. He makes good grades in school, due to his hard work, and he is also an excellent basketball player. Scars/Birthmarks: Matt has no scars, but he does have a small, irregularly shaped birthmark on his left ankle. Weaknesses: Matt's greatest weakness, is the fact that he allows himself to be walked all over by others. His friends take care to include him in things, but he can also be easily forgotten. Friends: Jerrell Rodriguez, Alli Markus, and Joseph Sterbenz. Enemies: None Family: Matt live with his mother, Terry Humphrey. Back story: Matt's Father, Matthew Humphrey, died about three months before he was born, in a tragic boating accident. Terry has raised her son alone, with little outside help. She relies a lot upon her son now, as she is bedridden, and unable to work much. Matt now has to take online classes, so that he can also work a full time job, and still do school. Name: Joseph Sterbenz Nickname: Joe Ancestry: German Age: 18 Species: Human Gender: Male Appearance: He has the lightest coloring of the three boys. He has light brown hair, and brown-green eyes. He is about 5"" 5', and weighs 135 lbs. He is slightly stockier then his friends, not fat, but bigger. Personality: Joe has a habit of believing the best in everyone. He doesn't believe that any of his friends would ever do anything horrible. He is also friendly, kind, trusting, and a bit pushy. He hates to see others never reach their full potential, and is determined that his friends will. Joe is a bit of a procrastinator when it comes to himself, as well as a bit lazy. He is smart, which keeps him from getting bad grades in school. Abilities: Joe has the ability to love and trust unconditionally. He also is able to ace a test without studying for it. He is semi-good at sports, enjoys them, but dislikes pushing himself. Scars/Birthmarks: He has a broken nose, from when he ran into a wall at age 5. Weaknesses: He is easily hurt by people who have gained his trust, then broken it. He is extremely sensitive about what others thought of his friends. He is also a bit nosy. Name: Laural Maurilian Nickname: None Ancestry: Elven Age: 1,299 Species: Elf Gender: Female Appearance: Laurel has flowing hair the color of gold. Her eyes are deep violety blue. She has creamy skin, and her head is circled with a small crown shaped like the laurel flower. Her dress is a soft velvety fabric, that looks pink in some lights, and green in others. She is tall, and 6"" 2', and weighs a mere 140 lbs. Her limbs are long and graceful, her face is neatly crafted, with a soft look on it. Personality: Laurel is haply and carefree. She loves the open spaces, and wide fields. She is sweet, considerate, loyal, and free. She hates cruelty to animals, and is quite able to deal with it. She dislikes unnecessary violence, but will fight to the death for her friends, family, and country. Abilities: Laurel is very good with a bow, as well as with her small daggers. A sword is a bit harder to manage, but she is able to use one. She is very light, and well-balanced and coordinated, like most elves, which is a great advantage in battle. Scars/Birthmarks: She has a small pink scar, about 1/2 inch long on her right arm. Weaknesses: Her weakness is her willingness to put herself in danger for others. Sword fighting is also a weakness, and she prefers fighting from farther away, or from horseback, then hand-to-hand combat, so when she is thrust into hand-to-hand, it can be a bit more difficult.
