THE HUSKY SLED DOGS RP: Name: Avalanche "Ava" Age: 4 Gender: Female Role: Swing Dog Breed: Siberian Husky and Greenland Dog Appearance: Ava was the pup of an accidental litter. Her sister had died at birth, making her an only child. Ava is a 20 inch tall, 62-pound dog. Her back is covered in jet-black fur with light brown specks, very closely resembling the Husky side of her. This fur leads down to her legs and stops near her paws. She has a white underbelly that leads up to her white chest. All four of her paws are white. She has jet back fur around her left, light blue eye, this then connects to a dark brown fur around her right, dark brown eye. This makes her look as if she has a mask on. This "mask" is surrounded by white fur again, with some more black and brown mixed fur on her ears. She has a black nose with a spot of pink on top. Her tail is furry and is completely black. It is usually slightly curled due to the Greenland part of her. Her fur is very fluffy and thick, making her larger than she really is. Although she does have very thick and warm fur, it can be a pain when the snow gets stuck in it during races. Personality: Ava is very competitive when racing. She had been trained to race as a pup and had gotten used to the cold, bitter winter. Ava spent two years of her life as a team dog, pulling her team along, then she moved up to swing dog, helping the leaders as much as possible. She loves the thought of possibly being a leader but does like her job as a swing dog and is fine if that is where she stays. Soon after she'd turned three though, she was sold to this team and promised herself that she'd try her hardest in this new race. Ava is very social and loves to be around her fellow teammates. Ava is very loud and talkative. She likes telling her teammates what to avoid although this may annoy the leaders at points. Ava just wants to tell the others what to avoid and where the trail leads for the leaders may focus directly on the trail. Ava tends to wander from the trail for any rocks or anything that could potentially damage the sled or throw them back a few minutes by slowing them down. Ava does this because she believes that she has more time to see this than the leaders. Although this may not be the case, she does like to warn the wheels in case they didn't see it before. Ava is also very determined to win, often trying to push her limits as they approach the final stretch. Once the finish was crossed, Ava was often panting and feeling about ready to sleep. She had never pushed her limits too far and doesn't intend to. If they lose, Ava isn't too angry but she may be yelling at herself instead of her team, telling herself that "you didn't see that rock soon enough so we crashed because of you". She doesn't usually show her anger at herself because others don't need to be telling her that it was fine because she didn't think it was fine. Though this may have happened from time to time, this won't stop her from trying her hardest now. She wants to be friends with everyone on the team so she can get to know what they excel at so she can help them if needed. She isn't looking for a mate because she doesn't want pups, the constant work to keep them alive, interfering with her job. Although she loves pups...her own? Nice try but no, not even mates, the constant care for each other? Ava doesn't have time for that. She wants to be outside, feeling the wind in her fur, feeling the constant feeling that you never know what you will find. That is what Ava lives for. That is what she tries her hardest for. Once training, she is focused and watching, keeping her instincts locked deep inside to spot every little detail. Holly tries her hardest and has good stamina. She also has fairly good speed, although she does run out of energy fairly fast compared to her older sister. Holly doesn't usually show her feelings. If she is sad, she will keep it inside of her. The only feelings she will show (and usually does) are her anger and happiness. Other than those two, her feelings stay inside. This is why others can have a hard time trusting her because she doesn't express what she's truly thinking or feeling to anyone. She does tend to be a bit more expressive to her close friends, her siblings, or close teammates. Holly does not have much experience of racing other than when she'd been taught back at her original house. After her older sister left, she didn't feel like practicing anymore. Just recently, her brother had convinced her to try it once more. She proved to him that she liked it and started to practice as a team dog. He also has fairly good speed, compared to his twin. Evergreen usually shows his feelings but ever since his older sister left, his twin acted differently. She didn't practice at all. Evergreen would practice everyday, hoping that Holly would rejion him one day. He doesn't have much experience of racing other than when he'd been taught back at her original house. He does have a bit more experience and stamina than his twin but she is catching up fast. After her older sister left, he started practicing harder, pushing his limits more and he passed out twice when finding his boundaries. Just recently, they had been transferred to a new home with a new team. He showed his sister how to sled race and she finally agreed to train again. She stands about 22 inches tall and weighs about 53 pounds. She gets her height and weight from the bigger dogs in her ancestry. Willow has a wiry coat. It is black with patches of gold, silvery-blue, and white. She has black ears and freckles of hickory along her back. Her coat is short and doesn't add much warmth to her in the winter. Willow's underbelly is white leading up to her chest which becomes a light hazelnut. Willow has blue eyes and a black nose. Her left ear is folded down slightly whereas her right ear is pointed up. Her tail is about 6 inches long and is filled with burs and thorns. If you'd brush them out, her tail would be a light gray with dots of gray and gold. Willow also has a scar along her side. She had had it since she was a pup and was too young to remember what had happened. Personality: Willow is overestimated for her size. She may not be as strong or as big as the other dogs but still is still just as protective. She will protect her tribe with her life and will not hesitate to attack if told to. She does like to keep her tribe safe. Once you get to know her though, she will open her heart and be kind and silly. She has a special place for pups and tries to play with them as often as she can. She does like to play when she isn't working. Playing is something that she loves to do but doesn't show it that much. When she gets mad, which happens at times, she can nip (not bite) without even thinking about it. It is a habit that probably will never be broken. Her left ear is folded down. COMING OF AGE (wolf) RP: Name: Willow Age: 1.2 Gender: Female Rank: Sigma Desired Rank: Hunter Appearance: Willow is a bit smaller than the average height at 26 inches and weighs around 57 pounds. Her medium-length fur is colored a dark gray with slivers of brown mixed in. Her face is colored the same gray color and lighter gray surrounding her eyes and leads down to her nose. Her nose is black and her eyes are dark green with lighter green and amber hues. Her left ear is folded down and both ears are colored black unlike the rest of her body. Her stomach is colored a light brown that leads up to her chest and stops just below her jaw. Her legs are colored dark grey with small amounts of gray and brown mixed in. Her paws are large and her front two are colored silver and her tail is colored light gray with the tip being dark brown. It is larger than it seems due to several plants and burs stuck in it from training. Willow isn't as muscular as others but is working on her stamina and stealth for she wants to hunt with the other hunters. That is her ideal position but is happy to serve her High Lord and Lady where ever they may put her...if she passes the trails that is. Personality: Willow may not be as old or knowledgable as the other wolves but still is still just as protective. She wants to protect her pack and friends with her life but knows not to get involved with danger quite yet. She is very watchful and observant, keeping close eyes on her teachers. Although she is observant and focused, she is also very kind and silly. She does like to play when she isn't being taught and plans to spend many years with the pack as she hopes to pass the trials. She has is more muscular than most others due to being a warrior but still isn't the tallest. Dakota is a light gray wolf with several slivers of dark gray, brown, black, and tan mixed in. A variety of colors mixed into her medium-length fur can camouflage her in the shadows of the forest in the right lighting. Her stomach is a dark brown that leads up to her chest. It goes all that way up to her black nose and eyes. It looks as if she has a mask surrounding her dark brown eyes. This "mask" is surrounded by a layer of lighter gray fur with dots and hairs of dark brown and black. This fur then leads up to her ears, the color being a light shade of brown. Her legs are a dark brown, the same color as her stomach. Her paws are a bit larger at 5 inches rather than the normal width of 4 inches. Lastly, her tail is a dark gray with larger dots and splotches of black and brown. She brushes out all of the burs and plants stuck in her tail daily so she can clearly focus without getting stabbed by a stick in the middle of a meeting with the high ones or watching an omega. Personality: Dakota is a very protective wolf. She lives and would die for the pack. She respects everyone that deserves respect. As a warrior, she promises to protect and serve the pack for as long as she lives. She doesn't necessarily like watching the trials but must do it and honestly, she does like how she can participate in helping them earn their skills before the trials during training. She does like how the higher ones have the trials every year as it literally is the strongest survive while the others perish or fail. Although her job, Dakota does like time to herself and honestly loves pups. She loves watching them as well as teaching them everything that she knows. Although she loves pups, she would never have any of her own. One, they take too much time to care for. Two, she doesn't have a mate and she doesn't tend to have one. Three, it interferes with her job and she wants to keep participating as a warrior. She also loves watching the pups play at times in the mornings before most wolves are up. Dakota does love playing although she rarely has time to play for her rank is morning to night. She is fine with this though. She would never give her rank up for anything in the world.
